He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. What`s more, none of us could imagine how excellent his ancient Chinese literature was. What he tended to do in his class was to recite several segments of the famous ancient prose and then put them into English.  However, under the pressure of College Entrance Exam, the students didn`t seem to be so interested in his performance.  Therefore, he tried to stimulate the class by editions of Times as prizes for answering questions. It worked on us instantly.

On the day of the entrance exam, he waited nervously with us out of the examination room.  He kept reminding us not to drink water in case that we would feel like going to toilet during the exam. Not withstanding his constant claims that we students were far less important than his beloved daughter, we did feel his devotion to us.

这次英语戏剧节的内容比较丰富，有二（1）班的《fashion show》、二（3）班的《snow white and the seven dwarfs》、二（5）班的《the enormous turnip》……看，随着《江南style》音乐的响起，二（2）班的舞蹈小达人闪亮登场了。他们踩着欢快的节奏，在舞台上尽情地挥洒他们的舞姿。接下来是时装小达人，他们穿着自己喜欢的衣服，在t台上秀他们的风采。英语戏剧节在二（5）班有趣的舞台剧中圆满地结束。

Ms谭对我们非常的严格，只要我们上课玩玩具或者开小差，她都会直接过来用手扭住你的脸，大声的骂你。

比如：有一次我们班的李佳乐上课在玩手指，Ms谭看到了，马上向李佳乐走过去，用力的扭着李佳乐的脸，大声的说“你在干什么。”李佳乐假装不知道的说“听课。”Ms谭听了，吼李佳乐说“你没玩手指吗？还在这假装不知道。”李佳乐听了，面如土灰的低下头，可是Ms谭还是不停手，大声的骂李佳乐说“上课不听讲，还在玩手指，还装作不知道，你越来越不像样了……”

Ms谭虽然有时候非常的严格，但是她有时候还是非常的和蔼的，有的时候，我们听写很好或者考试很好她会给一节课给我们到外面玩。

比如：有一次，我们全班听写全班的平均分在92.25分左右，是全年级第一，Ms谭非常高兴，走进教室说“这次听写我们全班平均分在92.25这节课给我们活动。

how time flies! it is ahnost a month since i arrived here and began a new

life as a university student. but all this time, i have been missing you and my

dear school. i just can not tell you how grateful i am to you for the help you

gave me during my preparation for the university entrance examination. now i

will tell you something about my university and life here.

our university lies at the foot of mount zijin, in the eastern suburbs of

nanjing city. the campus is very big,with a big sportsground surrounded by lots

of modern classroom buildings. what have impressed me most are the big library

and the well-equipped language lab. our campus is also very beautiful. there are

quite a few well-kept gardens. every road is lined with trees. how happy we are

to study in such an enviromnent!

life here is both busy and coloufful. we have classes every morning. in the

afternoon, we either work in the laboratory or do assignments in the classroom.

in the evening, we can go to talks or do reading in the library. this keeps us

occupied most of the week. but on weekends, there are always many

entertainments. we may go to the club to have a dance or go to the cinema to see

a fihn. sometimes we may also hold a party to practise oral english. in a word,

we like our life here very much.

are you still teaching one of the senior classes? i really think that the

students in your class are lucky for they will certainly benefit greatly under

我的英语老师有两个名字，第一个叫杨老师，第二个叫Wind老师。

杨老师的个子不高不矮，身材不胖不瘦，乌黑的头发，浓浓的眉毛，亮亮的眼睛像两颗黑珍珠，鼻子不高，嘴巴红彤彤的，胖胖的脸颊，红红的，似乎涂着腮红。皮肤白白的，很漂亮。

老师极温柔，不过我们非常不乖的时候，老师就会非常生气，让我们罚站，还严厉地批评。她上课很生动，只要上一节课就会玩一个游戏，所以我特别喜欢英语课。老师改作业非常认真，只要我写错了一个音标字母，她都会改出来，但她不会骂我，而是轻轻地说：“下次不能这么粗心了。”
