My mother is very good at raising plants and flowers. We have plants and flowers indoors and outdoors all the year round. Some of our plants were very small in the beginning,but now they are large and very beautiful. On top of our roof there is a big glass-enclosed greenhouse. All our friends love to come to our house to see the beautiful world my mother has made for us. Every morning and evening we see my mother taking care of her plants like little children. My first con against this behavior is that education is not just a benefit but also ones rights. The sharp contrast between those who have received well education and those without is not just financially, but more vitally, spiritually.

Admittedly, we can find cases of some one achieves without college education, but these cases are famous only because they are rare. Those people who succeed with a college degree are so many that this would seem to be a must and a natural part of elites. The absence of university education is hard to imagine in our days. The prospect of those juvenile workers or businessmen would be even dimmer than ever before .For in our age, knowledge is not only the power, but also the know-how to solving problems and gaining a much larger fortune.

In the past twenty years, China has faced three American presidents, but till coming to Yale today, I never realized that China really just faced one university. Although, through these three presidents, I understand that the quality of Yale graduates is not so even.

Let me begin my main subject and let me give it a title, called “My Story and the Chinese Dream Behind It”. I want to talk about five particular years. The first is 1968. That year I was born. But it was also a chaotic year for the world. In France, there was this huge street disturbance, and in America, too. Then President Kennedy was assassinated. However, I really did not cause all of these! But that year what we remember more was the assassination of Mr. Martin Luther King. Although he fell that year, his words “I have a dream” stood up, not only stood up in America, but across the whole world.

From the sixteenth of January to the seventh of February is our Winter Holiday. I think everybody did a lot of things in the Winter Holiday. But I didn’t. Let you to listen to my story of Winter Holiday.

I spend a lot of time on the homework.. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. then I listened to the tape, it was nine o’clock. then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I’m not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

I’m unlucky on the playing too. I played firecracker but I hurt my finger with the fire. I ‘m careless to kindle the firecracker, so I’m very unlucky.

I still unlucky on my friend’s party. In the morning, I wanted to get up early but I woke up at 10:50. After ten minutes, the party would start! So I only eat a piece of bread then I go to my friend’s home! And I stay at his home for a long time when I came home. My mother and father were very angry and they scolded me!

I’m worried and feel unlucky on my weigh. Last term, I was 48 kilogram but now I am 51 kilogram! I must to do banting!
