When I was a girl,I was very bad.I often drew pictures on the English book

and laughed loudly with my classmates.I never listened to my English teacher

carefully.Of course,my English was very bad.

When I was in Grade 5,my mother sent me to an English school.My English was

still very bad there and I didnt stand up when the teacher let us stand up and

dance.But to my surprise,that English teacher called Angela didnt hate me and

she still gave me another chance.One day,Angela found me and said:"Janice,you

今天下午，值勤过后，我就和同学一起坐43路车回家。车上很挤，我好不容易才找到一个座位，就一屁股坐下了，可以好好的休息一会了。

可是，车刚过了一站地，有一位老爷爷上车了，他微微驼背，大概六十多岁的 样子。我马上就想到了要给老人让座，但又转念一想，自己好不容易才坐下，让了怪可惜的。

怎么办啊?到底是 让还是不让?我想，身为一个少先队员，如果我不让的话，那又怎么对得起我胸前的红领巾呢?不能再想了，我一定要让。于是，我站起来，说：“爷爷，您来坐吧!”只见爷爷笑了笑，然后慢慢地坐下，并对我说：“真是好孩子!”我听了以后，心里也乐了，因为我做到了。

There was once a little turtle that wanted to be the fasted animal in the

jungle, everybody laughed at him and said that he could never be the fasted

animal ever. But the turtle didn’t listen to them, and instead, he decided to

learn and study from the wild hare; he was the fasted animal in the jungle oh

yes. In fact, every animal went to learn from the hare had become the fasted

runners too. When the turtle told the hare that he wanted to be the fasted

runner in the jungle, the hare laughed high over heels aloud; “Oh, oh!” cried

the hare, “Turtle, if you want to be the fasted, then you must get that big

shell of your back, Ha-ha!”

The turtle was not very happy about what he had just heard from the hare,

and he eventually decided to prove to him that it was his duty to be the fasted

runner of the jungle. “How about this, I and you have a race;” said the turtle

suddenly, the hare laughed aloud again, “Oh turtle, turtle; please don’t tell me

that you are not going to give up!” “I am not, I have the heart inside my body,

and I do not believe that I couldn’t be the fasted runner in the jungle!” the

hare then finally agreed to race with him.

When the time arrived, the turtle got ready; when the sound began to blow,

the turtle walked along slowly. While the hare in the other case hopped about

happily. “Does he really think that he could beat me?!” shouted the hare, “That

would be a dream in his brain;” said the hare again. When he was almost at the

finish line, the hare said to him, “I shall take a rest, then when I get up the

turtle still behind my tail; and I cross the finish line, using my rest energy;”

saying that, the hare lay down asleep. The turtle still didn’t give up; he soon

found the hare, and crossed him quietly, when he reached the finish line, he

cried out loud; when the hare woke up, found the turtle still wasn’t in front of

him.

He hopped about happily, and when he reached the line, he found the turtle

already resting on a rock. The hare was so shocked that he lay down on the grass

just like that he fainted. And so the turtle became the champion; nobody ever

laughed at him ever again, and whenever some animals wanted to learn running,

they did not go to ask the hare; since he was not yet the fastest any more,

instead they went to the turtle to get advice from their new jungle running

lesson teacher.

Dear Zhang,

I am really sorry to tell you that I was unable to attend your birthday

party yesterday evening. That is owing to the fact that my old friends visited

my house without telling me the exact time. I had to entertain those friends

with my passion in the entire evening,and I will continue to entertain them in

My grandfather is a famous professor. He is over sixty now, but he is in

good health, and his hair is still black. He is tall and hand some, and looks

like a gentleman. Believe it or not, he began to learn to drive last year, and

now he drives his white Nissan every day.My grand father has taught English for

about 35 years, and he has been to many countries, such as America, France and

Canada. Now he is on holiday in Europe with my grandmother. He is very kind to

me.

them for you.They are made by hand from people,so they are simple to made,you

answered your letter dated 7, December sooner, but when I have told you the

reason, I trust you will be convinced that the neglect was excusable. When your

letter arrived, I was just in Hong Kong. As my family could not forward it to me

Dear Sir,

I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

After you come back from guilin to play， in order to let me have a full，

and happy summer vacation， I made a plan.

In the aspect of learning in the first place. Because I read too much time，

so in the summer vacation I want to read some books more， ensure to read 1 hours

a day， and to "engagement" and the book. Every day recite an ancient even， to

write a diary， practice calligraphy for 20 minutes. In order to let my English

improved， I will read English for 15 minutes. On the basis of doing these， at

the end of the holidays in order to I learn more easily， Im ready to prepare

the grade five major courses.

Secondly in other ways. I want to go out to travel more， hope I can in the

second classroom and learn some knowledge not learn in school. I also want to go

to learn swimming， visiting relatives and friends. In addition to these， I will

stick to my special skill learning， such as the erhu enough to practice every

day 1 hour， Latin dance for distinction， painting teacher assigned homework，

etc.

To do well， of course， the health is the most important， so in order to

complete my plan， I want to insist to take exercise every day， or cycling， or

swimming， or walking.

Since the plan， must be completed on schedule， if not completed on

I like apples and oranges.Apples are red.Oranges are orange.They all look

healthy.One day,my mum bought some apples home.I quickly washed one and ate

like share them with my best friends.I hope everyone can be healhy and like

apples.

My desk-mate is a pretty girl. The clearest characteristic of hers is the

smile on her face. Any time you meet her，she will give you a sweet smile that is

just like spring wind. When she does something good， she might as well smile.

And even when she is wronged or criticized， she will smile away it. What a happy

girl she is!

In the grave yard of Africa, there was an old gentleman that seemed just

like a normal garden, but yet it didn’t seem like it at all.

When the time had passed in order to make the world’s life come true, some

of the famous writers like Todd Marin were provided in the group’s mayor of

Pairs. It was an odd word, but also inside the effects of programming on a

website; I have a funny story.

One day I was going out on the road, I found out that I had left my wallet,

and so I had to go back and fetch it; after that I started away again. But I

found out that going on foot my feet was like very sour, then I had to go back

and ride on my bike. When I road it almost half way to school, I figured out

that my project was at home, I had to go back again; that made me exhausted, but

I prefer that way since my teacher is going crazy the past few days. I went home

and got my project, then I hopped on again; I knew that all of my stuff was

packed up, but my bike tires were out of air; at that time, I was full of anger

and stamped my feet.

I had to walk home and park it, after that I walked to school. When I was

walking and walking, I was wondering what time it was; since I had my watch on

my wrist, I know what time it is. But, when I just lifted my wrist to my face to

see what time it was, Ah! Time gave me the answer that: There was only two more

minutes until school starts!

I rushed to school as fast as my legs could carry me. When I arrived, the

teacher asked me, “Why are you so late?” I didn’t answer, the teacher gave me

extra homework, but it was just like usual. In the noon my dad didn’t question

me about it, and so I was safe.

It was a very funny story, and it was like that I had a very unlucky habit;

it was actually nothing to worry about since I got my grades up my schoolwork

was always finished in time, and so I had nothing to worry about anymore. It was

a very glad day.

But I just wish that life is better than this.

Nowadays, if we go on the street, we can find that fast food is everywhere,

the reason why the fast food is so popular lies on that it is convenient. People

can finish their meal quickly and spend more time to do work. Fast food indeed

saves people a lot of time, but it is not good for our health, we should not eat

it often.

Bike is a common and popular traffic tool in China. Almost everyone owns a

bike. I have a black bike. It has been a good friend of mine. I clean it almost

every day at the beginning. Now I just leave it alone because of my busy study.

But it still does me good service.
