Laba rice porridge was first introduced to China in the Song Dynasty about

900 years ago.

Buddhism was well accepted in the areas inhabited by the Han Chinese， who

believed that Sakyamuni the first Buddha and founder of the religion， attained

enlightenment on the eighth day of the twelfth month. Sutras were chanted in the

temples and rice porridge with beans， nuts and dried fruit was prepared for the

Buddha. With the passing of time the custom extended， especially in rural areas

where peasants would pray for a plentiful harvest in this way.

There is， however， another touching story： When Sakyamuni was on his way

into the high mountains in his quest for understanding and enlightenment， he

grew tired and hungry. Exhausted from days of walking， he fainted away by a

river in India. A shepherdess found him there and fed him her lunch -- porridge

made with beans and rice. Sakyamuni was thus able to continue his journey.

My family lives on this street. In the morning， my father goes to work and

all the children go to school. My mother takes us to school everyday. She does

the housework. She always has her lunch at home， and sees her friends in the

afternoon. In the evening all the children come home from school. They always

get home early. My father goes home from work and he is often late. After supper

my two brothers and I do our homework. We go to bed at ten.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thanks for your coming, I fell so happy , I have this chance to stand there

to share my ideas about my hometown with you all.

A culture creats a city, the water and soil bring up the people. At the

foot of Erlang mountain, in the middle of Sichuan province, lies a small town

named Tian Quan. I am proud to say: it is my hometown.

Wherever I go, Tian Quan stays in my deep memory forever. I can not forget

the place where I was born and grow up, I can not forget the place where

surrounded by green mountains and water, I can not forget the good and honest

people who working hard in there, I can not forget every river, every street

there.

Standing at the top of the WenBi mountain, you will catch a bird’s eye view

of the whole Tian Quan. You will find it is a beautiful picture including the

mordern colour and old smell.

Looking at the lovly provious animals , such as panda, Takin, Golden

monkey. You will thinks the nature has special power to make life so

wonderful.

My hometown has a long history of culture. There is the

tea-horse-accient-way, which attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to visit .

Walking on the tea-horse-accient-way, you can’t help sign in regret how long our

culture is!

Tian Quan is also famous for it’s culture of tea. In summer , the farmers

work on the tea plantations, you will regard it as a lively picture. If you have

a chance to work on the tea plantations, you can’t miss it! You can enjoy the

tea and learn more about tea at the same time .How wonderful it is!

I want to say a song for my hometown, but I don’t know what kinds of music

is fit for her, I want to write a poem for her, but I don’t know what words can

describe her.

Everyday is a new beginning , put you hands together , give a smile to the

land, say a words to Tian Quan : you will in my heart , forever.

In the Northern Street of Paris, there sat an old man with white hair and a

stick. He was blind, and nobody wanted to help him. One day a noble man came to

this street and saw the old man with blind eyes, he asked, “Excuse me, don’t you

bother? But, I just want to ask how much did you get today this morning?” “Oh! I

didn’t get anything!” cried the old man in a sad tune, and then the noble man

realized that next to the old man was a cardboard paper, and on were the word,

“I can’t see anything!” and also realized that the people who passed this place

will just look at the paper, smiled; and went away to do their own things. Since

this man was a noble man, he knew what to do to make everybody happy.

And so he took all the money he had in him which was $12, and placed it in

a bowl near him; and then he took out his pen which he had in his hand all

along, and wrote the some words in front of the words that are already on; and

these were the words, “The spring has come, but;” these words, and then went

away. In the evening, the noble man came visiting this place again, he saw the

old man sitting down as usual and asked him, “Well how much did you get this

afternoon then?”

The old man smiled, “Noble man, I don’t know what you did but the people

that gave me money this afternoon were so many that even god couldn’t count

them!” and then the noble looked at the bowl with money and stroked his beard

while he smiled.

“The spring has come, but I can’t see anything!” these words could be so

much use, it might produce that the noble man in this story has technology,

which made the poor blind man happy.

Although this noble man which we are talking about helped the old man, but

he also remembered what the other people did. People asked him many other

questions, and the noble man of course answered them all. Some of the people in

town that didn’t want to help the blinded old man were locked up in jail for

their cruelty instead of kindness.

The moral of this story is, when you see somebody that is in need, go and

help them and you will feel better in the end.

In ten years, I want to be a writer. Ill meet plenty of interested people

. Im going to work by subway every. Its good for earth. I think Ill live in

Beijing, because I will work there. I maybe become a famous people . Maybe I

will be able to take my family to move to Beijing. Ill keep a cute dog in my

big apartment. I think I will have more fans. That is my dream . On the

weekend,I will spend most time with my family,but I think I often have lunch

with my family in the future. We never know what will happen in the future. But

As a child， I am very naughty and forget about what my mother tells me. One

time， I go back home very late. When I see my mother， she smiles at first and

your attention to some improper behavior among us students : littering and

scribbling . It makes our school dirty and unpleasant , and does harm to the

Everything was strange for me,so I couldnt study better. I felt nervous in
