Nowadays, many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think

that pets are good and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying

that animals are as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior

citizens are especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling

lonely at home and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.

But some other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy,

dirty and dangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from

keeping pets in cities and towns.

In my opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying

with pets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all,

keeping pets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant

things for the time being.

My mother is a great woman， she does all the house work， now I have grown

up， so I want to help her with her work.

I will wash the dishes after the meal and I wash my own clothes. My mother

is so happy to see me doing this， she tells her friend that how good I am.

I am happy I can help my mom， I want to do better in the future.

When girls get together, they like gossip. They always talk about the topic of beauty. They will discuss who is the most beautiful girl in school or they will compare the girls and see who is more charming. As the young people, they usually judge people from appearance. The definition of beauty of course is the one who is thinner and has the pretty face. When they ask me which one is more attractive, then I will look at them for a while, because I want to perceive their personality. My view on beauty is not only from appearance as I think most girls have the pretty faces, but also from the inside, only the quality that differentiates them. The pretty faces will fade away anyway, only the quality that helps people to keep charming. So we need to cultivate the good quality.

Yesterday, my parents were not home. And I had to stay at home by myself for one day and one night. I was very happy at first, because there wouldnt be anyone criticizes my behavior. Dear Mr. Seaton， Thank you very much for taking me with you on that

splendid outing to London. It was the first time that I had seen the Tower or

any of the other famous sights. If Id gone alone, I couldnt have seen nearly

as much, because I wouldnt have known my way about. The weather was splendid on

that day, which I thought was rare.

I still remember some people told me that in Britain there was weather and

no climate. During the same day, it might snow in the morning, rain at noon,

shine in the afternoon and be windy before the night falls. So I think I was

lucky.

I think the river trip was the best thing of all. London really came alive

for me as we saw it from the Thames during that wonderful journey down to

Greenwich. It was all tremendously exciting - a day that I shall never

forget.
