我和爸爸妈妈去动物园玩。我们进了园，就看见那里人山人海，就像是一条长龙，更像是一片欢乐的海洋。

暑假里的一天，我和我的姐姐罗珍珍一起去我们的小区里学游泳!到了游泳馆，我们跟教练彭老师去行了礼，就进了游泳馆里面。

我们进了游泳馆，教练先让我们做了热身运动，然后让我们下水练憋气，学员们一个个离开水举起“白旗”投降，只有我和姐姐仍然坚持着，热身结束之后，开始了正式课堂。当教练告诉我们今天学的是自由泳的时候，我顿时像泄了气的皮球，刚才的热情荡然无存。

这可是我的“致命弱点”，想想都觉得底气不足。首先教练先让我上岸，练习一下水上姿势，我一次又一次机械地重复着动作，却怎么也得不到要领，总觉得笨拙好笑，动作也很僵硬。正当我苦恼不已的时候，教练走过来，拍着我的肩膀，亲切地说：“两只手先动的是右手，把自己右手放在前面的时候，左手要放到自己的胸右部。

这样的动作做三次后呼吸一下，呼吸的时候左手在前面时，头往右边呼吸，右手在前面的时候，头往左边呼吸。”照着教练说的技巧，练习了好多次，果然顺畅多了，慢慢地我就熟能生巧了，顿时信心大增，跃跃欲试。下了水之后，更是得心应手，姿势也流畅漂亮，教练看了之后欣慰地笑了，赞不绝口，一边朝我竖起大拇指，一边连声说：“孺子可教也。”

学习游泳不仅让我获得了一项新技能，而且还让我懂得了只要我们用心勇敢地去做一件事，就一定会有收获，不必畏惧，敢于挑战自己，就一定会成功!

童年是一幅画，画中是我们七彩的童年，童年是一首诗，诗中有我们欢乐的笑声，童年是一首歌，歌中有我们的哭声和笑声。

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

surrounding area. So, it is also the most booming place having the best things.

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

isn’t in the country. For example, there are KFC, wonderful shopping mall,

delicious food from various places, dancing club, different kinds of activities

and so on. We can also learn the culture from all the countries. Despite city

life is so wonderful, it still has many disadvantages. Nowadays, with the

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result,

traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out.

What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for

people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of

living in city.

In Tianjin,there are many buildings of bygone times.Some of them are

imposing and have great artistic and historic value.However,these buildings do

mot fit in well with each other,because most of them were built by foreigners in

different times.The traffic in the city is not very convenient.The street are

usually narrow and twisted.If the government wanted to have them widened,a large

number of buildings would have to be pulled down.Some buildings are too old and

are nothing more than cottages,and in place of them,some new high buildings have

been set up.However,the new ones are still few and in many places they seem

quite out of place.

Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic

from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will

spread rapidly with the reform going on.

I often imagine what my life will be like in the future. I think my life will be very different in ten years. I will be twenty-eight years old by then. I will have my own family. Probably with a lovely child. I hope I will work in a computer company as a program designer. I will enjoy my work and get along well with my colleagues, I will do a good job in whatever I do. In my free time, I will continue to take regular exercise, such as swimming, running and various ball games. On my holidays, I will travel around the world. In a word, my life will be much richer and more colorful.

我经历的事情很多，就像天上的繁星，有的绚丽夺目，有的黯淡无光。我要拣一颗最特别的星星给大家看，这颗星星让你一看就觉得好笑。

那是一个阳光灿烂的一天，我们一家人去森林公园郊游。玩了一天，我们回到家，又累又渴，又没有水，可是都不想再动了，弟弟十分想烧水，现在终于等到了机会。他说：让我来吧!说完，他就进了卫生间，在这个过程中他本是要我帮忙的，可是我太累了，就拒绝了。弟弟烧水后，爸爸和妈妈都表扬了弟弟，心想：不就是烧水吗，有什么好得意的。用的着这样吗?

可是我突然想起，就问弟弟：你怎么能够的着水龙头的啊?你的身高是够不到的啊!爸爸妈妈听了我的话也觉得奇怪，对啊，矮小的弟弟是不可能够的着水龙头的啊?全家人都把眼光聚集在了弟弟的身上。

弟弟一开始支支吾吾的不肯说，在爸爸妈妈的催促下，弟弟结结巴巴地说：算了，我说出来吧，我够不到水龙头，就把马桶里的水盛进了水壶。

全家人都笑了，我笑的眼泪都快出来了。

现在，我一想到这件趣事便笑的前俯后仰……

我是四年级下期才来百仕达小学的插班生，对学校的英语水平早有耳闻，令我闻风丧胆。果然，在插班考试的英语试卷上，满是我不认识的单词和语法知识。看了几眼之后，我就胡乱蒙题，结果可想而知。

摸底也是一样，成绩单我看也不敢看，我知道我的英语成绩绝对在全年级倒数前十名。这两个成绩深深的打击了我，使我不敢在英语课上发言。用老师的话来说，我在英语方面简直是一个白痴。这更使我在英语课上畏畏缩缩，即使我知道答案也不敢说。

直到有一节英语课上，坐在我后面的田壁榕拿走了我的笔袋，我用右手去抢回那个笔袋时，我的左手竟不由自主的举了起来。

此时，老师正好提出一个问题，见我的左手高高举起，立即点了我一下，说：“大家听一下刘思科同学对这个问题的看法。”

听到这句话，我的左手立刻僵住了。怎么办?我颤颤巍巍的站起来为自己争取时间。

周围的同学都用好奇的目光望着我，像发现了什么新物种似的。还有几个不听话的同学不怀好意的鼓起掌来，估计是想看我的笑话。

掌声传入我的耳朵里：哼!我得拿出点什么来对付你们。我凝神看了看题目，然后就开口了。

我尽可能用我所掌握的词汇，可是还是会碰到不认识的单词。经常“嗯——”地叫，叫得我心里一阵阵发毛。可是，我还是艰难的回答了老师的提问，可是连我自己也觉得我回答的太烂了。

突然，老师带头鼓掌，说：“回答得不错，表扬。”接着，我的几个好朋友也鼓起掌来。这次鼓掌令我感到无比的振奋和愉快。

以后，我经常发言，阐述自己的观点。而且我在数英两门课上还保持着用左手举手的习惯，因为我忘不了四年级的那又一次掌声……

In our daily life, if we get on harmoniously with our friends, we’ll feel

more joyous. But we’ll feel lonely without friends.When our friends feel upset

or get ill, we shouldn’t ignore them or look down upon them. On the contrary, we

ought to calm them down, show our love and concern to them and try our best to

help them overcome the hardships. Sometimes we may have some misunderstandings

放假了,放假了,随着激动人心的期末考试结束.我期待已久的暑假生活就开始了.同学们欢呼雀跃,心里比猪八戒吃了人参果还要甜.我想:这下可以好好地玩游戏了.

暑假生活来了,我的心里别提有多开心了。这下好了，我可以放心地睡到10点钟，再也不用那么早起床。可事与愿违，因为老师布置了十样作业：比如有日记十五则，新暑假一本，抄知识十全50-100页1遍……数学有：一本新暑假，一篇数学日记……看到这些作业，我的头快炸开了。好像背上千斤顶在操场上来回奔跑，跑一圈，千斤顶就减少一斤。任务真是太重了，把我仅有的一点儿时间给压没了。我真命苦!呜……

废话少说，在暑假班的日子里也没有以前想的那么有趣，刚刚艰难地跨进暑假班的门槛，我就被那防不胜防、多如牛毛的“原子弹”命中了。培训班的老师攻击我：“虽然你的成绩在这个数学培训班里名列前茅，可是在这里，就讲这里的成绩。大家一定要每天背一次这句话，考、考、考，老师的法宝，分、分、分，学生的命根。”开学第一课，任务比较重，我自然比较繁忙。我迷迷惘惘的过了这节课，经过这节课，我已经身心疲惫了，我坐黄包车回了家，一到家就坐在电脑前，后面却传来“河东狮吼”还不快去写作文。我匆匆忙忙地写了作文，效率并不高。

时间总在我们不留神时从我们的手中跑出，转眼间，以暑假班为主题的暑假生活也结束了。暑假生活使我从中受益：要想取得好成绩，就得付出比一般人还要多的汗水。

I noticed an ad. In the paper today you said you were looking for people to join your expedition team. It sounded as if it might be fun so Im writing to say Id like to come along.

About myself: I left school at 16 because I wanted to earn a bit of money. After that I got a few part-time jobs as a waiter, etc. But I didnt stick to any of them for long. Recently Ive been doing a bit of hitch-hiking round Europe so Ive had some experience of traveling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition youre planning. By the way, Im a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.

Let me know when I can call in for a chat about dates and other details, etc.

“糟了，怎么又下雨啦!”我心里暗暗发愁，“早知如此，就该听妈妈的话带一把伞，今天真够倒霉的，上一节课跟好友风吵了一架。”此时我已无心听老师讲课。

雨滴噼噼啪啪地在玻璃上交响，那声音一直在我脑海里回荡。

随着时间一分分的过去，外面的与越下越大几乎看不清人。我在心里暗暗埋怨“这夏季的天气怎么说变就变呢?开始还万里无云，怎么变的这么快呢?是不是故意跟我作对。”

下课铃打响了，这声音跟雨声交杂在一起显得异常的刺耳。看着同学远去的身影，我暗暗的焦急，“可悲啊，我又要成为落汤鸡啦!”我自言自语道。

“你没有带伞吗?”一个熟悉的声音从我背后传来。

我回头一看原来是风，我为我们吵架的事没有跟他搭话。

“如果不嫌弃就跟我用一个伞吧!”那声音是那么的和顺。

“真是太感谢你了，”我迫不及待地钻进他的伞里。

那把伞给我们构建了雨中的一方晴天。我们慢慢地走着。“刚才真对不起，都是我的错，”我不好意思地对风说。

“我们是好朋友吗，有什么对得起，对不起的，”风微笑地对我说。

看到他如此的宽容，我对他微笑，在心里暗下决心“我一定要珍惜这份友谊。”

今年的暑假是我的第一个暑假生活。假期刚开始，征得我的同意，爸爸妈妈给我报了两个兴趣班，一个是游泳班，一个是拉丁舞班。游泳池的水太凉了，在我的要求下，游泳班我只学了四天就退掉了，不过，我答应爸爸妈妈，等我再长大一点，我一定会学会游泳。至于拉丁舞，我只是学了一些基本功，爸爸妈妈说只是让我锻炼身体，增强体质，并没有要求太多，所以他们说我跳得还有点样。

假期中最让我高兴的就是在姥姥家的日子了。那天，我一进姥姥家门，就看见院子里的纸箱里的小鸡了，黄澄澄的，它们在叽叽得叫着，可爱极了。我还看到了姥爷养的一头猪，它白白胖胖的，哼哼唧唧，它是《小猪唏哩咕噜》里的唏哩咕噜呢，还是《夏洛的网》中的威尔伯呢，如果是威尔伯，那会不会有蜘蛛夏洛呢，可看那头猪个头比我还要大，我实在是不敢到猪圈里看个明白。我还跟着姥姥到田地里去了一趟，姥姥把花生从地里拔出来，然后再一个一个摘下来，我也在一边帮忙，我还看到了玉米长什么样，当然我也吃到了香喷喷的玉米了。我小姨家的妹妹每天从幼儿园放学后来到姥姥家和我一起玩，小姨说妹妹跟我学了不少东西，看，我成了老师了。在姥姥家我还遇到了我小时侯就认识的康苗姐姐和露露姐姐，他们长大了很多，我们在一起玩的很快乐，我还跟露露姐姐学会了翻绳变魔术呢!我还教会了爸爸妈妈，我又当了一回老师。

学习是最重要的，假期中我也没有忘记学习，妈妈给我制定了学习计划，我除了完成老师布置的暑假作业外，我还读了好几本课外书，读完的有《一年级大个子和二年级小个子》、《一千零一夜》、《伊索寓言》、《格林童话》、《夏洛的网》、《蚯蚓的日记》、《柳林风声》第二遍。有些是我自己读的，有些是和妈妈一起读的，我喜欢和妈妈一起读书。

我度过了一个愉快而又丰富多彩的暑假生活。

浓人们都乐呵呵的。丰收了，汗珠儿也跟着笑起来。许是笑得厉害了，便从额头上抖落下来，到麦子已被农人晾晒起来，按黄色的一粒一粒，是幸福的收获。

不多时前，麦子还是甜嫩的，采下几个饱满的麦穗，用手使劲撮着，为的是吃到那香甜的鲜嫩的麦粒。费好大力气，才得到不多的粒子，用手托着，慢慢倒入口中，嚼一口，甜香便马上散向口中各处。呼一口气，还是麦香。

这会儿的麦粒，是让人再难被咬动了。我只能唱着“鲜嫩的小时候，我好象再咬一口”大步地推车离开。

哎!看来确是把甜蜜也收获去了!
