Over the past few decades, the increasing amount of industrial wastes and household garbage has become a major problem in many countries. People have questioned what caused this problem and what can be done to improve the situation. In my opinion, two of the most critical causes of this waste material problem are the increased consumption and a shortage of space for landfill.

To begin with, modern lifestyle has contributed greatly to the increasing amount of waste and garbage we produce everyday. In other words, we have turned into a materialistic and mass-consumption society where we use more and throw away more than ever before. Moreover, countries are running out of space to store garbage and waste material. In fact, securing land for waste disposal raises controversies in many countries.

To solve this intractable problem, every citizen needs to participate in producing less garbage. For example, we can bring our own personal shopping bags instead of using plastic bags provided by stores and shops. Besides, the government can enforce stricter laws on companies to use biodegradable packaging or use recycled material. Indeed, this alone can eliminate much of the waste which is sent to at land fills. Companies can also contribute by developing new raw material which is recyclable and will ultimately lead to less garbage. One good example of this is that tire companies develop new tires for cars which are not made of rubber but of new biodegradable material.

As discussed above, individuals, business and the government can share the responsibility to reduce the amount of waste material and to save the earth. I hope that in the future our offspring will be better off with the well-preserved environment.

曾几何时，世界上大批的动植物遭到灭绝，还有许许多多的动植物濒临灭绝，这都是为什么?这都是因为人类乱伐树木，破坏了生态环境，这才是根本原因。

土地资源是三大地质资源(矿产资源、水资源、土地资源)之一，是人类生产活动最基本的资源和劳动对象。人类对土地的利用程度反映了人类文明的发展，但同时也造成对土地资源的直接破坏，这主要表现为不合理垦植引起的水土流失、土地沙漠化、土地次生盐碱化及土壤污染等，而其中水土流失尤为严重，乃当今世界面临的又一个严重危机。据估计，世界耕地的表土流失量约为230亿吨/年。

有人认为酸雨是一场无声无息的危机，而且是有史以来冲击我们最严重的环境威胁，是一个看不见的敌人。这并非危言耸听。随着工业化和能源消费增多，酸性排放物也日益增多，它们进入空气中，经过一系列作用就形成了酸雨。

好的事物积累起来会更好，不好的事物积累起来会更糟。比如谚语小时偷针，长大偷金，就是因为不好的行为不断积累，导致大的错误。“小时偷针长大偷金”的故事在民间盛为流传，其内容是一位母亲，见孩子拿人家的小东小西，不但不制止和教育，反而赞扬孩子“能干”。结果这个孩子长大后偷金盗银，犯了死罪。这个故事就告诉我们，如果积累坏事，那么只会越来越坏，要知道，学坏容易学好难，我们可能会因为某些利益而去学坏，并且积累坏的事物，这样只会要我们走上歪路，趁自己还没走太远，浪子回头金不换啊。

很多人都会说，积累很难坚持下去，很可能会中途放弃，其实不然，就如我们现在，面临着高考的压力，还有时间来积累，还没有到最后一刻，坚决不能放弃。可以每天背几个单词，几首古文，或者每天坚持做一道物理题，保证对你有帮助。千万别认为自己没时间积累，时间都是挤出来的，吃饭时可以在脑子里背一背语文，睡觉前可以背一背政治，在打王者时背一背历史，这些都可以用来积累，所以，积累还是要注重方法，利用最短的时间来积累更多的东西。就像我们班主任说的，你每天多留下来读半个小时书，那么一个月下来你会比别人多花多少时间在学习上，一年又是多少呢？

积累不仅仅可以在学习上，也可以在日常生活上，每天做一件好事，慢慢的积累正能量，你就会成为一个好人。比如，我们可以帮父母做家务，可以帮同学答疑解惑，可以帮老师管理班级，做个好学生，其实很简单。

时光飞逝，不远的将来，我们也许会怪罪现在的自己，也许会感谢现在的自己，为何不想想自己未来呢？别再忽悠自己了，从小事积累，相信以后，你会对现在的自己而感到自豪。

有一天，小花和弟弟讲，在上学的路上看见垃圾桶，有很多很多垃圾。小花说：“大概是，小朋友把垃圾当足球踢了，结果没有踢到垃圾桶里，垃圾撒的满地都是。小花，告诉弟弟，你来写一句话，也就是说，告诉人们要保护环境，不可以乱丢垃圾。就这样，我来把这些垃圾放入垃圾桶，好不好。

原来我们的家园地球是多么美好，自然的美丽风光美不胜收。

地球给了我们新鲜的空气肥沃的土地，还有洁净的水源。他一直在用宽阔的胸怀哺育着我们，他曾经有多么的美丽，可是现在地球母亲已经伤痕累累，空气中的质量越来越差，一些有利的资源严重短缺，比如矿物金属类以及纯净的水资源。

人们的滥采乱伐，使大部分资源开始严重短缺，可是我们还是没有认识到自己的错误。我们为了自己的欲望，自己的贪婪自私，不顾后果地滥用化学药品造成了一系列的灾难。人们工作污水的乱排放，不知道节约用电，不关紧水龙头，使用一次性的物品，一个小细节都可能是造成资源枯竭的原因。日积月累，都会给人类的生存带来严重的影响。

地球是圆的，象是紧紧的把我们包绕在一起，保护着我们，还默默的为我们奉献，请大家保护地球爱护唯一为我们无私奉献的家园。（指导老师：郝淞瑶）

“植树造林镇风沙，遍地都是好庄稼。”正如古人云：植树造林，富国富民。家有寸材，不可当柴。

3月12日是一年一度的植树节。植树造林是一项非常有意义的活动，需要大家共同来完成。那是一个营造绿色环境，呼唤人们爱护环境的特别日子。通过查资料得知：植树不仅能有效改善生态环境，是我们居住环境变得更加美好，同时还有巨大的生态效益呢。举例来说：日本全国森林覆盖率达65%，为此，森林土壤年贮水量达到二千三百亿吨。森林防止泥沙流失57亿立方米，栖息鸟8100万只，提供氧气5200万吨，吸收二氧化碳6900万吨。

植树造林不仅可以防止风沙，还可以在光合作用下产生大量的氧气呢。以前有科学家担心，地球上的氧气被人类吸完了怎么办呢？因此，科学家做了一个实验分别把两只老鼠关在不同的环境里来测试它们的寿命。把一只老鼠关在一个有植物的盒子里，结果显示老鼠活了一个多月。另外一只老鼠则盒子里什么都没有，存活了仅仅三天左右。这说明了我们人类同样离不开氧气，氧气是我们赖以生存的必需品。

小朋友们应该都看过这样一部动画片《熊出没》吧。故事讲述的是动物们为了保护环境，保护森林，和光头强斗智斗勇阻止他肆意砍伐树木，最后动物们被送到了马戏团，光头强把整个森林都砍伐光了，成了破坏森林的“祸首”。故事给了我们一个很好的反面教材：肆意砍伐，破坏树木，破坏环境后果不堪设想，地球是我们的家园，环境与我们的生活息息相关。清澈的小河、碧绿的森林、湛蓝的天空都将消失的无影无踪，地球渐渐被毁灭，人类也渐渐死亡。

“功在当代，造福子孙”从小做起，从我做起，共同保护环境，保护我们的家园。为我们的子孙留下碧水、森林、蓝天。

现在的社会都讲究一个词——环保。可又有谁真正地理解过这个词语或真正地去做过呢?我认为光说不做假把式的人有很多，而实际做了的人却寥寥无几。之所以我会这么认为，是因为我亲眼目睹的一件事，让我对环保的印象逐渐模糊了起来。 The current society pays attention to a word -environmental protection.But who has really understood this word or really did it? 那些大姐姐为什么不去把它们捡起来呢?这个问题像是在我的脑海里扎了根，怎么也挥之不去。我便单纯地认为：可能是大姐姐们想让更多的人知道环保的重要性，没有那么多的时间去顾及了吧我蹲下身，小心翼翼的捡起地上散落的.宣传单，交到其中一个大姐姐的手里。可谁知她却一脸不耐烦地抱怨道：“你不要那么多管闲事好不好?这么热的天，发这么多的宣传单，谁能受得了!”我只觉得自己被石化了，一阵风吹来，化成了灰烬。

我只能呆呆地看着那位大姐姐把自己手上一大半的宣传单散在地上，然后和其他人一起去买奶茶了。她们喝完奶茶后把杯子扔在地上，兴高彩烈地在树荫下乘凉、聊天。我心里十分失落，仿佛少了什么。这时，在我的视线里出现了一位清洁工阿姨。她穿着脏脏的马夹，汗水湿透了衣服，慢吞吞地清扫着大姐姐们遗留下来的奶茶杯和宣传单。那些大姐姐们见了她，马上躲得远远的，在她背后指指点点，好像在议论着什么。我还看见她们露出的厌恶神色，可是清洁工阿姨却毫不在乎。我对环保的概念彻底的模糊了，到底什么才是环保?为什么同是环保，差别却那么大?

我想起了我们自己。现在的我们都是娇生惯养的，在家里都是“小公主”、“小皇帝”，对于环保，只是嘴上说说，有谁真正做到了呢?我很想说一声：“环保!是需要实际行动的。保护环境，人人有责。请从身边的小事做起!

大家生活的地球正在迅速恶化，大家不得不注意一下自己的生活环境有没有对大自然造成危害，大家必须必须别乱丢杂物，特别是那些污染严重的垃圾，比如废电池，因为一节废电池中所含的重金属，如果流到清洁的水中，它造成的污染是非常厉害的，其次要尽量节约纸张、铅笔等树木造的物品，因为浪费了这些东西就是毁灭森林。还要尽量少用一次性饭盒、筷子和塑料袋等物品，以免造成不必要的浪费和减少垃圾的产生。

还有一些小建议：走时要随手关总开关，以免电器过热爆炸，浪费钱又浪费电，要节约用水，刷牙时要关紧水龙头，洗菜水可以淘米，淘米水可以浇花，洗衣水可以拖地，如此就可以减少一些浪费了。不要随意捕杀野生动物，一二级保护动物是绝对不能杀的，但也别捕杀青蛙等常见动物，因为青蛙为大家吃掉1.5万的虫子，而且大部分是害虫。有些人经常不以为是，依旧我行我素，所以大家要尽量少吃野生动物，导致他们野生动物销售额下降，不再捕杀野生动物。

大家的森林被称之是氧气加工厂，所以要爱护花草植物，不要破坏城市绿化，还要积极参与。而且还要少砍伐树木，别浪费木质的物品，因为浪费了这些东西就等于毁灭了森林，所以要少用，来保护越来越少的森林。

用节能灯炮来代替普通灯泡，虽然有些贵但是可以相对的少用一些电的。我呼吁大家：用大家的日常行动来保护地球的环境，让大家的子子孙孙生活在一个美好的环境中!
