黄椅山森林公园景区内森林覆盖率高达90%。被子植物52科283属720多种。有红松、日本、等20余种；果树有梨、山揸等10余种。灌木有山里红等20余种。这里还是野生动物和鸟类的天堂，现有十几种野生动物和上百种鸟类。
