为了坚定大家的学习信念，我想给大家讲一个关于英语学习的真实故事。我的外公今年94岁了，他上中学学习英语时曾很吃力，有一年的期末考试没有及格。他下定决心改变这种情况。于是他在暑假订了一份英文报纸，每天早晨4点钟起床，开始疯狂朗读报纸上的文章，坚持了一个暑假。开学后，他一跃成为班里英语成绩第一名。他把这段经历称为“一个暑假的胜利”。这个故事很普通，绝对比不上那些天花乱坠的励志口号。但从中可以看出，英语是可以突击的，这就需要我们利用短时间，有一定强度地打磨英语。愿大家都能取得“一个暑假的胜利”。最后，送上英语学习的八字箴言：模仿至上，背诵为王。

My winter holiday is very dull. I stay at home for most of time. Sometimes

I visit my friends and play basketball with them. Sometimes we go shopping.

One day, we go to the KFC. We have hamburgers, chicken coke and French

fries. We have sore throats. We go home and have a rest. Then we feel better. We

go and play computer games! How mad we are!

This is the only thing I can talk about in the holiday.

寒假到了，你们的生活怎样安排呢？我一放假就要回老家，很惨吧！可是，我就觉得很好玩呢！

星期五，爸爸接我回老家，当时我死活不愿意，因为，我老家是一个偏僻的小山村，话说“山清水秀，蚊子又大”，我怕死老家的蚊子了。可后来，我还是回了老家。

“呼呼~”汽车在马路上开着，风从我耳边闪过，路周边到处是花花草草，一阵清香在飘荡……在看着周边的风景不过一会儿就到家了。

到了家，我惊呆了：以前的瓦屋变成了小洋楼；以前的泥巴路变成了水泥路；以前的脏脏兮兮的小溪，变成了清澈见底的小溪了，许多小鱼跳出水面，一层一层涟漪在水面上回旋；以前的垃圾河不见了……老家的翻天覆地的变化让我不由得赞叹。我跟爸爸进房间，放好东西我就去玩了。我看见妈妈在菜地上，我就跑过去。我和小侄子又跑又跳的，快活极了！一天，就这样过去了。

第二天，我早早的起了床，看见爸爸放鸡出来，我对这些鸡又追又赶，开心极了！到了喂鸡的时候，妈妈把鸡食倒在鸡吃的那个碗里，所有鸡都跑过来，挤在一起来吃。鸡吃食的那可爱样，让我不禁笑来起来。

到了中午，无聊极了，开电视又没有什么好看。忽然，我看见了一只鸡在地上寻食，就想到了一个点子。我用手抓了一把米，一点一点撒在地上，鸡看见了，跑过来，一点一点吃干净，我就得好玩，又抓了一把来喂鸡。妈妈见了，狠狠地说了我一顿，说我不珍惜粮食。虽然被骂了一顿，可我还是很开心，不过，下次我再也不敢了。
