一天，风和日丽。奶奶大声地喊：开饭啦，开饭啦。不一会儿，桌子旁已经坐了3个人了，我，哥哥，奶奶，还有一把椅子上空空如也。我环顾四周，空地上有一个人影，正坐在小椅子上，左手扇着扇子，戴着一副大大的眼镜，手点着字，一边看一边慢慢地念。
看了看这个背影，原来是爷爷啊！我走到他后面，使劲地拍了拍肩膀，说：吃饭啦。爷爷这才如梦初醒，整齐地叠好报纸，折好老花眼镜，慢悠悠地走了过来。但还没坐到椅子上，爷爷就滔滔不绝地讲了起来：今天报纸里讲了，在……奶奶将饭端了过来爷爷还不停口，换了一个主题,再次讲了起来：中国今天…….这个爱看书的爷爷，我真是服了他了！
