外公今年六十多岁了，不高的身材，黑黑的脸庞，一双不大的眼睛炯炯有神。他平时除了负责送接我上学外，最喜欢的事就数打牌了。
每次接我回家后，外公第一件事就是倒一杯茶，戴上他的老花眼镜，急急地打开电脑，上网“斗地主”。这不打不要紧，一打就入了迷。他时而因为输了牌而眉头紧锁，时而因为赢了牌而眉开眼笑。
有一次，外公正在为拿了一手好牌而暗暗窃喜。这时候，鼠标却不争气地罢工了。这把外公给急得呀！他不停地用手拍打着鼠标，在电脑桌上前之后回移动，嘴里不停地嘟嚷着“破电脑，你关键的时候给我掉链子。真是的，本来稳赢的牌，此刻没戏了。去去去，破电脑！”
之后，电脑修好了，外公也不再抱怨了。
还有一次，外公正在电脑上打牌，外婆大声喊：“吃晚饭了，整天就明白打牌。”一连喊了几遍。外公似乎是打得太入迷了，也没有回应。外婆生气地咕噜：“我们先吃，不管他，都吃完了，让他没得吃。”
