I like to travel very much. I always dream to be independent and travel by

my own. But my parents worry about me all the time. They think I will meet

friend of mine and they agree. This was the first time for me to leave my home

and I had to do all the things on my own. Firstly, I book the ticket and the

Yesterday, after a long meeting in the class, all the students had been

told about the safe issues, then the summerVacationfinally came. All of us

felt so happy and liked a free bird, rushing to home quickly. I had been looking

forward to this holiday for such a long time, I really needed to take some rest

after studying for a semester. I have made some plans for my summer vacation.

First, I wanted to spend some time to stay with my grandparents. I miss them all

the time and they always tell me to visit them when I have the time. My grandma

will cook the delicious food for me. Second, I want to read some books I like,

such as the fiction books. I don’t have much time to read fiction books because

I have to focus on my study. Summer vacation provides the time to adjust

Recently, I have been reading a book named Communication Arts. In this

book, the author Doctor Li introduces many methods to communicate with others

successfully and tells readers why everyone should be a polite person. My

favorite sentence in this book is “Everyone has potential, and everyone can

determine your own future by developing positive psychological, mastering

communication arts and showing your personality charm. In that way, you can have

a wonderful life!”

During whole sections, this book tells us human should live in a large

group, since people can’t solve all problems by their own. For that matter,

human beings should learn a series of manners to deal with any situation which

might happen wherever and whenever. After that, Doctor Li makes a point that

people need to realize how to resolve disagreements between friends, families or

colleagues. There always appears this kind of situation in social life, so it’s

important to understand how to settle it. Finally he teaches us that

communication techniques not only reflect in normal talk but also within body

languages.

In each part of the book, the author takes a large number of examples in

daily life to confirm his points. These examples in daily life are easy to

understand and accept.

After reading the book, I find many shortages of my communication skills. I

used to lack of patience when I talk to others, even got mad at them. This was

impolite and might destroy relationships between my friends and me. Therefore I

would try my best to improve myself and be welcome.

My mother is an English teacher and she likes listening to English radio

and reading English newspaper. She always gets up early in the morning. She

washes her face and has breakfast, then she hurriedly goes to school. She does

morning exercises with her students. Next, she has one or two English lessons.

In the afternoon, she helps some students with their English. Finally, she goes

home at five o’clock. She marks the student’s homework at home and she always.

tired everyday. I love my mother and I hope she can just relax at the

weekend.
