The Spring Festival，Chinese New Year，is the most important festival for all of us. All family members get together on New YearEve to have a big meal.At the same time，everyone celebrates to each other.At about 12 oclock，some parents and children light crackers.The whole sky is lighted brightly. We may watch the fireworks excitedly.How busy it is！

On the first early moring of one year，many senior citizen get up early and they stick the reversed Fu or hang some couplets on the front door. Some houses windows are sticked on red paper cutlings.

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days，we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time，children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents，grandparents，uncles，aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

My favorite holiday is New Year. It is a very important festival in Chinese culture. In fact, its the highlight of the year. Everyone returns home for a family reunion. We have a big feast and chat about all the things that have happened in our lives. People also visit each other. We exchange gifts and good wishes for the next year.

我最喜欢的节日是新年。在中国文化中，新年是一个非常重要的节日。事实上，它是一年中最好的（日子）。每个人都回家与家人团聚。我们有一个比较大的盛会并且（与他人）畅聊所有发生在我们生活中的事。人们总是互相拜访。我们交换礼物和来年的祝福。

New Year is especially fun for kids. Thats because we get

presents and treats, including red envelopes filled with money. But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks. We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have. I have a very happy family.There are four people in my family--my parents ,my younger brother and I.My fathther is working in another city,so he is always very busy.As a famous saying goes :" There is always an able woman behind a successful man .",my mother is a housewife.She can cook very dilicious food and she is often busy with some houseworks.Sometimes,brother and I help her tidy the house,but of course,we couldnt tidy as clean as her.

I love my parents as well as my family.I hope we can be happy forever!
