向北走进校园，对面就是四层高楼，这就是我们的主教学楼，教学楼的最上面有很多小旗子，有黄的、有红的、……五颜六色，好看极了。

教学楼的东边还有一幢更高的楼房，它的旁边还有花坛，花坛里面有很多草，这些草都挺直着身子。精神十分饱满。

教学楼的正前方是操场，操场西边有很多树。其中有一棵是松树，它的叶子像一把大扇子，下面有很多树枝，每个树枝都有几片叶子，像个小树，树枝下面有蚂蚁、螳螂等动物在里面玩耍。

操场的西南角有沙塘，沙子在阳光下金光闪闪，像一堆金子，沙塘里有很多体育运动器材。

操场西边是篮球架，一到体育课，老师同学都在篮球架下大篮球。操场正中间是旗杆，高高的旗杆上挂着五星红旗，五星红旗迎着风在空中飘来飘去。

自从6月26日拿到了周市中学的录取通知书以后，经过了一个漫长暑假的焦急等待，终于盼到了8月28日的报到注册日。这一天，在我爷爷、妈妈的陪同下来到了学校，感受了这所期盼已久的中学。

这是一所由原周市中学和陆杨中学合并后新建不久的学校，它的环境非常的美丽、幽静。学校的旁边是一座生态公园，它的建筑风格是采用复合式的，融教学、实验、活动、办公为一体。还有一个广阔的大操场以及一个可以容纳几百人的食堂……

8月31日和9月1日上午，学校安排请武警的大哥哥给我们进行为期一天半的军训，这次军训就是练军姿、转体、踏步和跑步，让人非常难受的就是在太阳下面暴晒，晒得我们都成了非洲人了，回到教室朝自己的脸扇巴掌，才发现自己的脸已经被晒得没有了知觉。而我虽有些偏瘦，但是还受得了，一直撑到了最后军训结束，可比起那些壮的要能挺的多。可有些女生就不行了，我看到有个班一个女生，在我们刚刚开始军训半个小时左右，就倒在了地上，下巴都摔破了，好在学校的医护及时把她抬走了，没有什么大碍。大家看了都觉得军训很恐怖，我们班有些人也受不了了，老师让他们去阴凉的地方休息。不过这样的一天半时间下来，我发现自己的体力增加了很多，看来这个军训对我们还是有帮助的。

不仅是军训，我还领教了书。原来初中的书较之小学竟多了不少，不仅多了三门课程，各种教材练习把我的书包塞得鼓鼓囔囔，回家用秤一称，足有7公斤多。老师还说还有一些练习册要等正式上课以后再发，另外还交了300元钱买辅导用书。每天要背着这么多书上学，真是悲哀啊！

然而，新学校的老师还是挺好的。9月1日缴费时，由于早上走的匆忙，我缴费的钱忘在家里没带，当班主任蔡老师走进教室时，我有些胆怯的对他说了这事，蔡老师真好，当即拿出他的手机，让我给家里打电话，要我爷爷骑电瓶车到学校送钱。我一定要珍惜初中的三年学习机会，刻苦努力：第一要保持小学阶段的好习惯，第二要尽快适应初中的学习生活，第三要克服小学阶段的不足之处，争取将来在中考时能考出好成绩。
