本次游泳健身周活动共有6项内容，涉及到科普、公益等多领域。其中包括：在江、河、湖、海开展的公开水域游泳活动、在游泳池(馆)开展的“海豚”游泳达标活动、青少年游泳普及活动、公益惠民游泳健身服务活动、游泳和救生志愿服务活动以及游泳健身宣传活动。

记者还了解到，本次活动设有突出贡献奖、优秀组织奖及优秀站点奖等奖项，各站点的组织者、参与者可以登陆中国游泳协会“泳者在线”微信公众平台进行大众投票。
