In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in

activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. As a sophomore, I am feeling the time flies. Recalling about the past one year, so many thoughts are flooding in my mind. At this time, I just can’t tell my real idea. The memory is just like so fresh, and all the things happened yesterday!

When first day I came to University, I really feel that the school is very good, but at the first sight of the dormitory, something disappointing come up to me! The condition of the dormitory is really very poor with only one room, no lavatory! I saw something sad in my father’s eyes, maybe that time he thought of the poor condition! So with a big smile on my face, I told my father” it doesn’t matter, Dad. In this kind of condition, I will get myself better!” My father felt better. But when he was coming back, seeing his back, I just wanted to cry! 那里的楼房是一个美丽的“空中花园”，放眼望去，一栋栋高楼拔地而起，粉白相间的房，掩映在层层的绿树中。整齐优雅的别墅，依山傍水。房屋四周，花团锦簇，绿草如茵。这也是一个环保的家园。在这个家园里所行驶的汽车排放的气体不是二氧化碳，而是氧气。人们从不用一次性饭盒、筷子，即保护了大自然，也保护了环境。废弃的东西都被人们重新利用起来，变废为宝。还有我们这里的每一座房子，也是用人们不需要的东西搭建起来的，美观而又环保。而大街上，各种环保节能的轿车川流不息，路面竟也一尘不染。再看垃圾桶，不再是以前那种臭气冲天、破烂不堪的铁皮桶，而是一只漂亮可爱的大机器狗，它能把垃圾分门别类，然后把不能回收的垃圾转化成可利用的能量。

绿洲现有居民50多人，和谐友爱，亲如一家，分别来自中国大陆、台湾、加拿大、美国、德国、新西兰和非洲津巴布韦，他们天性淳朴，善良敦厚，多才多艺，聪颖睿智，女子多温柔美丽、逸韵优雅，男子多英俊刚毅、道骨仙风，他们整天穿梭于鲜花丛中，徜徉在青山绿水，沐浴于紫霞映照，游戏在欢声笑语。冷漠、自私、嫉妒、愤恨与他们绝缘；活泼、互爱、宽容、勤奋是他们的禀性。尘世千年好，不如禅院一日仙。那里没宪法、没有法律、没有责任、没有义务、没有总统、没有教皇、没有法师，一切自然和谐，顺理成章。

那的一切那么美好，那么美丽。那里就是我心中梦想的环保家园。
