在春节的第一天,大部分的人早起,说“新年快乐”。早餐,人们经常吃饺子和包子。早餐后,人们常常做出许多美味的食物,和孩子经常打牌,电脑游戏和烟火。第二和第三天,我们拜访亲戚、朋友。

在中国新年每个人都很忙,每个人都是快乐的,也是。

中国，是一个强大的国家，它像一个巨人屹立在东方，她有着960平方千米的广阔疆土，她有着古老皆碑的中华文化，她的这些伟大成就，都是我们中国经过努力一点一滴的变化，才得来的。

1840年，英国用大炮、打开了中国的大门。清政府屈辱求和，于1842年被迫签订了中英《南京条约》，它是中国近代史上侵略者强加给中国人民的第一个不平等条约。之后，侵略者没有善罢甘休反而变本加厉，英法联军于1860年10月18日，火烧圆明圆。这座世界上最豪华瑰丽的宫殿之一，就这样焚毁了……从1840年开始，中国不断受到列强的侵略。外国资本主义侵略势力与中国封建势力相勾结，把中国逐步沦为半殖民地半封建社会。

可是，我们不会忘记昨天的屈辱。我们国家正用一点一滴的变化来改变中国不是弱者，而是强者。1949年中国成立了，这代表中国又开始了。新中国一成立，便领导我们走向了成功之路。

新中国一成立，汽车便实现了跨越式发展的变化，1957年第一辆汽车正式生产下线，我国汽车年产量在20世纪经历了漫长的发展过程后，到1958年，我国汽车年产量为1万辆。2006年，我国汽车的年产量由2000年的200万辆迅速上升到720万辆，年均增长率高达24%。汽车产量排名世界第三，仅次于年产量达到1000万辆以上的美国和日本。2008年，我国生产汽车934.5万辆，超过美国的868.1万辆，居世界第二。

与此同时，粮食、棉花、肉类、钢铁、煤炭、化肥、水泥等主要农产品和工业产品量居世界首位；城镇居民年人均收入增长到15781元；农民年人均收入增长到4761元。祖国无数伟大的变化和成就展现在我们面前，鞭策着我们把祖国建设得更加美好！

中国是伟大的，是强大的。中国是有着举世瞩目变化的国家，中国是繁荣昌盛的！中国一定会有更加美好的前程！更加美好的明天！

Today is Qingming Festival. Its a traditional Chinese Tomb Sweeping Festival. Dad drives grandma, mom, my brother and I to Xianyou home together. My hometown is on a big mountain near Xianyou County town. After 1 hours of winding roads, we finally arrived at the destination -- my familiar hometown in dreams.

As soon as we got off the train, we could smell a fresh country smell, surrounded by green hills, and the whole countryside was so peaceful. We walked a few minutes to see an old house covered with mud, a place where Grandpa, grandma and Dad had lived before, and only Granny and grandfather lived there.
