我很喜欢这只小鸽子，拿出我最爱吃的麦乳梢、奶油饼干喂它，但小鸽子连看都不看一眼。煮熟了饺子，我把第一个送给小鸽子，它仍然理也不理。我问爸爸：“小鸽子为什么不吃麦乳精、饼于、饺子呢?”爸爸对我说：“鸽子是鸟类，吃粮食的。”哦，原来它吃粮食，我就抓了把小米，义找了个小碗，灌满水，放在小鸽子面前。开始它胆子很小，东张张，西望望，还咕咕地直叫，就是不吃。噢，原来它看见我在旁边，怕生人哩。我连忙躲到了门后，从门缝里愉偷地看着。一会儿，小鸽子见我不在，胆子就大了，正想啄米，弟弟一拍手，小鸽子义不吃了。我连忙把弟弟拉到门后。只见小鸽子用那红红的小尖嘴一口一口把小米吃完，然后看看四周，又美美地喝了两口水。

下午，我和小鸽子玩了好大一会儿。晚上，该睡觉了，我轻轻地抚摩着小鸽子，告诉它：“小鸽子，咱们都该睡觉了，明天放学，我再和你玩。”小鸽子咕咕地叫着，在屋里飞来飞去。我躺在床上想：“可能它想念自己的爸爸、妈妈了吧?”

酣睡中我做了个梦，梦见我变成了一只美丽的小白鸽，和小灰鸽一起自由自在地飞翔在蓝天上……

一阵“咕咕”的叫声把我从梦中惊醒。我睁眼一看，啊!天亮了。我赶忙起来抱起小鸽子。我想，它一定也做了一个同样的梦。我多么喜爱这只小鸽子呀!但我怎么能把它关在自己的屋里，不让它自山地飞翔呢?我双手捧着它，高高举起，说：“飞吧，可爱的小鸽子，自由地飞吧!去找你的爸爸、妈妈吧。”小鸽子张开双翅，飞到了阳台上，围着阳台转了几圈，还“”古口占”地叫粉，好像在向我们全家告别。然后它又张开双翅，飞上了蓝天。我一直目送它降落在不远处房顶上的一群鸽子中间。有只鸽子给它理毛，有只鸽子和它亲嘴。我想，理毛的一定是它的爸爸，亲嘴的一定是它的妈妈。瞧，它们多亲热啊!
