我的家乡在**界冲，那里山美水美。到了木棉花开的季节，随处可见火红火红的木棉花，漂亮极了。其中，我最喜欢去的地方是青年水库。

走进青年水库，要经过一条弯弯的小路，小路边有一排排茂盛的竹林，远远望去，一片青绿的草组成了四个大字青年水库。走上堤坝，眼前立刻浮现出一幅画的景象，一座又一座的大山连在一起，把水库围绕在中间。不远处有许多小山坡，山坡上树很多，草很深。走进水库边一看，水是那样清，清得能看到水里的鱼游来游去；水又是那样深，那样绿，绿得像是被大山的绿树、绿草染过似的。偶尔可以看到水库上空飞着一两只美丽的大雁，这简直就是一幅活的画！

我的家乡可美啦，它在西峪村，那里有连绵不断的山峰，叮叮咚咚的泉水，郁郁葱葱的树木，美丽的蝌蚪池但我最喜欢的还是美丽的蝌蚪池。

春天，池里的水苏醒了，叮咚叮咚每天早上，这清脆的歌声把我唤醒，提醒我去上学。

夏天，郁郁葱葱的树木，五彩缤纷的花朵包围着蝌蚪池，我们趴在池边捉蝌蚪，有的人捉了拿去饲养，有的人捉了送给朋友、老师，还有的人捉了就直接又放回去了。

My Mother

My mother is just over fifty, a little bit older than our republic nation, so she has experienced two periods just like our country, showing both the traditional goodness and modern ideas.

Like all mothers, she is responsible and devotes most of her efforts to our family. So sometimes I feel regretful for her to give up her work, but she thinks it is the proper social role for a woman to be a housewife. She is satisfied with the family members＇ achievements. She insists on keeping her children under her wings. You see how traditional she is.

However, since she is intelligent①and has received the high education, it is easy for her to accept something new. In recent years, she is interested in the stock②. Therefore, she cares about the political and economic③ situation of the country and the world, and actively collects information of the companies whose stocks she bought. What is more, she is a fan of the Argentine④football team. So she was very sad after the defeat of this team in the 14th World Cup Tournament ⑤.

I love my mother, just because she loves me. Since we share some interests such as playing chess, we get chances to communicate⑥with each other, which makes us close friends.

I am very lucky because I have a happy family. There are three people in my family.They are Dad,Mum and I .

My father is a worker .He works in a factory near our school. He likes his work very much.In his spare time, he often goes fishing.Sometimes he likes watching TV at home. My mother is a farmer. She is very diligent and kind.She works hard on our farm every day.I am a middle school student. I am studying in No.5 Middle School . I am in Class Three, Grade One. 1949年10月1日，当第一面五星红旗徐徐升起，一个响亮的声音，宣布了一个民族的崛起——中国人民站进来了！

如今，时隔六十年，我们的祖国发生了翻天覆地的变化，而我的家乡，安庆，也悄悄发生了变化……

听爷爷说，他小时候可从来没住过高楼大厦，甚至都很少见过。那时，每家每户都只有一间小平房，条件好点的也只是多几间或门前有一个小院落。那时家里的地面可不像现在是一块块干净明亮的瓷砖铺成的，而是凹凸不平、尘土飞扬的黄土地！那时的屋顶也不是水泥制成的，而是一块块瓦片铺成的。所以一有瓦片掉落或破裂，又正好遇上下雨，那就会出现外面下大雨家里下小雨的现象；如果雨大的话，地面还有可能因为积水太多而出现一个个小水坑！

再看现在的安庆，高楼大厦一座比一座高；从前的小平房也摇身一变，成为了厂房幢幢；那坑坑洼洼的黄土地被一块块精致、优美，并且一尘不染的瓷砖代替了；曾经经常漏水的瓦屋顶，也由水泥屋顶“接班”了。而且现在，每个单元的门前，都有一个鸟语花香的小花园；晚上吃过饭，人们来到花园里散散步——既休闲，又优雅！

除了听长辈说的变化，我自己也亲眼见证了安庆的变化。

市民广场这个地方大家都很熟悉，可是在建成之前，这里完全是另一番景象：一块块不规则的大石头胡乱摆放在一起；坑坑洼洼的小路上不时冒出几簇野草，孤零零地长着；有时，路边可能还会有几包垃圾！所以，除非是万不得已，否则基本没人来这儿。

再看看现在的这里，晚上变色灯像七色的彩虹，把这儿照耀得犹如仙境！节假日的大广场上，人来人往：散步的、溜冰的、滑滑板的……有时，广场上的“音乐喷泉”还会开呢，每当这时，广场上可就更热闹了，欢呼声、叫喊声、笑声以及音乐声，合为一体，奏出了一首震撼人心的大型交响乐！

这就是我的家乡——安庆，发生的巨大的变化。这一切，都是党的“改革开放”政策带来的。在这里，我要感谢党带给我们的好生活，也祝愿：我的家乡安庆，今后变得更加美丽富饶，更加繁荣昌盛！还要向我的家乡深情地说一句：“我爱您！”

The traffic problem is one of themost serious problems in my hometown. Recently, more and more people have privatecar, but the roads are so narrow that we have to fight against the heavytraffic when we go out. Especially during the rush hours, cars and buses areunable to move. To make things worse, many people are killed in the trafficaccidents. How miserable it is!

在我的家乡交通问题是最严重的问题之一。现在越来越多的人拥有私家车，但道路却是如此的狭窄，所以我们出门的时候都必须和交通拥挤对抗。尤其是在繁忙时间段，汽车和公共汽车都动不了。更糟的是，许多人在交通事故中丧生。那是多么悲惨的啊!

For the sake of our life andsecurity, some measures must be taken to change the present situation. In thefirst place, as there are a great many cars, we should control the number ofprivate cars and vehicles and use the public transportation more often.Secondly, the government should widen the roads and build more flyovers, so asto ease the traffic pressure and reduce the traffic accidents. In addition, theundergrounds and light rails should be constructed, so that we can have morechoices when going out and do not have to worry about the traffic jams in thefuture.

为了我们的生命和安全起见，我们必须采取一些措施来改变现状。首先，因为有很多车，所以我们应该控制私家车的数量，更经常使用公共交通工具。其次，政府应该拓宽道路，建造更多的立交桥，以缓解交通压力，减少交通事故的发生。此外，应构建地铁和轻轨，这样我们将来外出时可以有更多的选择也不用不必担心交通堵塞。

I believe the traffic problem couldbe solved if we devote our actions to them.

我相信如果我们采取行动的话交通问题是可以解决的。
