城南有白马山，乃“渡江侦察记”之原址。山中有洞，虽未去过，但据说洞中藏锦，风景优雅，美妙无比。是芜湖美景之“白马洞天”。再往南，即到繁昌，是解放战争百万雄狮过大江第一船登岸所在地。

城西可隔江相望。一桥飞架南北，恰似长虹卧波，成就了多少牛郎织女的美梦。江北是三国时，著名的古战场，孙权、曹操曾隔岸相望，兵戎相见，可而今英雄安在。

家乡之美，美于人杰，美于地灵，美于美境之不可胜收，非笔墨之能描述。身监其境，方能感受之。

高邮湖位于京杭大运河河畔，是江苏省第三大淡水湖，总面积 780 平方公里。因水位高于运河而称为悬湖，又因位于高邮城西，又称之为西湖。

高邮湖是美丽的湖，她既有天赋的自然美，也有许多美丽的传说，如“甓社珠光”、“耿庙神灯”等。夕阳西下，我们一家人和爸爸的两个朋友家驱车来到的高邮湖。放眼望去，湖面上烟波浩渺，秋日的夕阳把一片片金光洒在湖面上，水天连接，水天一色。

高邮湖，不仅是美丽的湖，也是富饶的湖。高邮湖水面宽阔、水质好，为各种鱼类、鸟类和水生植物的生长提供了得天独厚的生态环境。湖面上千顷荷花，万顷菱角，在微风的吹拂下发出沙沙的声响。向我们发出邀请。我们三个小朋友以最快的速度登上一艘快艇，在爸爸妈妈的陪同下，快艇带着我们，像一尾灵活的大鱼，挺进“接天莲叶无穷碧”的藕塘深处，我们尽情的采摘成熟的莲蓬，小朋友互相比谁摘的莲蓬更大，更美。 欢声笑语惊起一只只水鸟。

回岸上后，我们迫不及待的剥开莲蓬，品尝那丝丝的清香，淡淡的甜。

高邮湖真的很美，这种美你可以用眼睛去欣赏，用耳朵去倾听，用嘴巴去品尝。

In the spring,everything become green,the grass come out,there are flowers everywhere.

In the summer,its very hot,you can hear birds chirping in the tree and frogs singing in the riverside.

In the autumn, everything become yellow,the fruits are mature,and wheat is ripe,its the harvest time.

In the winter, it snows here. Everything is covered with whiteness.

How beautifel my hometown is!But I like winter the best.I can make a snowman and play outdoor.It is so exciting.
