avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

太阳出来了，几个女孩子正说着，笑着向小溪边走去，每个人手里都拿着一桶衣服。来到溪边，先舀水把树荫下的石板擦得光光亮亮，然后“嘻唰唰”地洗起衣服来了。那“嘻唰唰”的清脆的响声组成了一支美妙的乐曲，听着它就像在收听录音一样。

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar

pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent lanterns, fireworks form a

beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

我的家乡在河南省濮阳市，濮阳市位于河南省的东北部，黄河下游北岸，冀、鲁、豫三省的交界处。东北部与山东省的聊城毗邻，东南部与山东省济宁隔河相望，西部与河南省的安阳市，北部与河北省邯郸相连。由于地处黄河的一个支流——濮水河北岸，因水之北叫阳，所以叫濮阳。

春秋时这里是魏国北部的一个边邑——戚城。孔子的徒弟子路葬在这里。这里还是中华第一龙、颛顼、舜、仓颉、吕不韦、商鞅、吴起、僧一行的故乡。今天，颛顼遗都、帝舜故里、仓颉陵、子路祠、戚城公园已是著名的旅游景点。

在中华第一龙的出土地——西水坡，那里现在建成一个龙虾成群、风景优美的大水库。每到夏天，小鱼小虾们成群结队的在水草里穿来穿去，还时不时的荡起迷人的波纹，河蚌伸出舌头，好像在说，我喜欢这迷人的季节，并在岸边懒洋洋的蠕动着。悠闲的人们在岸边钓鱼、网虾、捡河蚌……有人还说能钓到十多斤鱼呢！

我的家乡是个物产丰富的地方，也是一个旅游的好去处。

天一广场的音乐喷泉总会吸引人们驻足观看。水柱随着音乐的节拍、强弱而变化，有时舒缓，有时轻快，也有时激昂。水柱下面有一排小灯，会变换颜色，有时绿，有时蓝，有时红，这样，喷泉就变成彩色的了。彩色的水柱一会儿像两个人在跳优美的华尔兹，一会儿又像孔雀的尾巴随风摆动，一会儿又向花篮一样伴着音乐旋转。

宁波的另一个标志就是姚江、奉化江、甬江交汇的三江口，三条江把宁波分成江东、江北、海曙三个区域。一座座形态各异的大桥横跨江水，有钢结构的灵桥，有像一座大竖琴的琴桥，还有拉有一条条钢索的甬江大桥……夜晚的三江口更是美丽非凡，照明灯、霓虹灯、草坪灯都亮起来了，装点着美丽的宁波。

我的家乡在连云港，近几年发生了很大的变化。就拿我家来说吧。

去年，我们家买了空调。以前，在冬天没有空调，起床穿衣服，我总藏在被窝里。现在有了空调，起来穿衣服就不会感冒了。在夏天没有空调时，能把人热得发闷，不想活动。现在，在夏天有了空调，无论在什么时候，只要一开空调，调成冷风，会觉的非常凉爽，像置身于凉爽的森林一样。

今年夏天，我们家还添了电冰箱。以前，夏天的东西经常会坏，坏了就扔了，多可惜。现在电冰箱可以冷藏食品，食品放在冰箱里不会坏。它可以给我制作冰块。我补课回来，我就冷冻一个冰块让我解渴。冰箱给我家带来了方便。 爸爸还买了电脑。我总在电脑上帮妈妈打文章。我自己还用文件夹，存了动画片、日记、作文等。我还用它看文学名著。用它学英语、装软件，打游戏……妈妈就用它制卷子、打词语。电脑给我家带来了许多方便。

最近，大部分家里人的电脑都上了因特网。以前，没有互联网，现在想投稿或有事只要发一个伊妹儿，就可以把作文投上去，把信寄了出去。妈妈还在网上买很多物美价廉的东西。互联网也给我们带来了方便。

啊！我的家乡变化真大呀！

我的家乡在湖北。它非常的可爱，有山，有水，有大树，有美丽的田野。它们都是我生命里的一部分，它们都有自己的特点，而且他们让我们这一代人快乐地成长。

我的家乡有许许多多的山。山上有奇形怪状的树木。有的像一位守卫边疆的战士，有的像弯腰驼背的老人，还有的像一间间小木屋……山上还有各种各样的野果，有野山查、山核桃、野板栗……一想起那么多美味，我就口水直流。

山腰上有一片草地，那里盛开着各种各样的野花，红的、黄的、紫的、蓝的……她们都在争奇斗艳呢！真像一个美丽的大花园。

山脚下有一条清澈见底的小溪，一眼就可以看见水底的鹅卵石，大小不一，五颜六色。水里还有可爱的小鱼儿、虾、小螃蟹。鱼儿们在水中嬉戏，螃蟹横着跑过来凑热闹，小虾们却站在那里观看呢！

向远处望去，是一片田野。闻着泥土的芳香，看着美丽的田野，迎着阵阵秋风，我们走近一棵棵棉花。它们约一米来高，一棵棵棉花苗好像在等待检阅的队伍，纷纷展开结实的枝条，枝条上挂满像桃子大小一样的棉桃。有的棉桃绿油油的，像个害羞的小姑娘静静的躲在棉花叶子后面；有的棉桃绿中带黄，裂开了尖尖的小嘴，露出一点点白白的棉花，我想它们一定是碰到了什么高兴的事正开心的笑着呢！

这就是我的家乡，我美丽可爱的家乡！
