Demark, in order to promote the women’s liberation and equal rights, the council

members decided to establish the Women’s Day on March 8th. Then March 8th, 1911

just became the first Women’s day.

In our country, during the women’s day, the women usually have a day-off

holiday. The communities or companies will organize the recreational activities

such as a spring outing, a nice dinner and some extra welfare. On this special

day, the women can really realize that a woman’s value is not only giving birth

to a child, doing endless housework, but also find her own status in the modern

society. That is she can make a different. She can do everything that a man can

do. When you look around, you will find that more and more women are acting as

scientists, doctors, lawyers, even leaders. Just try to remember, women rule

half of this world. The life could quite different without their wisdom and

beauty.

With the development ofscience and technology ,different kinds of pollution has been produced andcaused global concern recently.

As we know, people have beenliving on the earth for thousands of years, human activity damaged natural environment, such as excessive abuse of natural resources ,the sewage dischargedfrom factories ,the animal slaughter ,kinds of chemical fertilizers andgreen-house effect. All that is mentioned above has a bad impact on the eco-system .Now, many animals aredying out. We are suffering from unhealthy food and water, we are faced withharmful rays and global warming. It was ourselves who had made a series oftroubles. As you can see, we are the final victim.

Above all, if we human beings cannot recognize theseserious problems and try our best to solve them soon, we would finally lose theenvironment suitable for us to live. So, it is our duty to protect theenvironment ,but what should we do to protect it?

In my opinion, the first and important thing is tounite all forces ,that is to say---gather all hearts together. Next we shouldprotect and plant more trees, which can dispose of the dust in the air. As forfamilies, it is effective to ride bicycles rather than drive cars. Don’t litteranywhere as you like. In addition, sorting and recycling the rubbish also playan essential role in the protection of our earth. We’d better call on everyone aroundus to lead a low-carbon life, as it may make a difference to the environment.

Thus, it’s high time that we did something to improveour surroundings. Everybody should raise the awareness to protect our motherearth. Let’s appeal to more people to join us.

All in all ,there’s no doubt that keeping the balanceof human and nature ,we will benefit a lot.

保护动物An Appeal for Animal Protection

I am a student from Xinhua Middle School in Chongqing，China。 Informed that you have a vacancy for a student to serve as the spokesman for animals， I cannot resist my inner excitement，hoping to seize the opportunity to do something for animals 。

In my mind，nothing can delight me so much as caring for animals。 Wherever I go and whatever I do， I usually keep in mind that animals are angels from the heaven， which bring us endless fort and pleasure。 I have been a panda lover since my childhood。 Panda is so lovely that brings fun to people and they are regarded as the treasure of our country。 Unfortunately，such a rare species is now faced with the danger of being extinct。What I am eager to do is to raise people’s awareness of animal protection and appeal to more people to care for our earth panies。

我认为，没有什么能够像关心动物一样让我快乐。不管我去到哪里，在做些什么，我会时刻牢记动物是来自天堂的天使，带给我们无尽的舒适和快乐。我从小开始就是一名熊猫爱好者。熊猫是如此可爱，给人们带来乐趣，而且它们是我国的国宝。不幸的是，这种稀有物种此刻正频临灭绝的危险。我想要做的是提高人们保护环境的意识，呼吁更多的人关心我们地球的伴侣。

Recently, a large number of affairs about sexual assault were disclosed and reported by mass media. As far as I am concerned, people should get some enlightenment from these affairs, such as enhancing and strengthening education inSelf-protection awareness, especially for children and students.

最近，有很多关于的事件媒体揭露和报道。我认为人们应该从这些事件中得到一些启示，比如，提高和加强自我保护意识教育，特别是对于儿童和学生。

Children and students are hurt most in this kind of affairs. As a result, to enhance and strengthen their self-protection awareness is indispensable. In addition, to strengthen the awareness of defending danger is also important. If they can realize the potential danger from someone or something before it happens, they can make some preparations to avoid the danger and reduce the rate of being hurt.

因这类事件伤害最大的是儿童和学生。因此，提高和加强自我保护意识是必须的。此外，加强防范危险的意识也是很重要的。如果他们能在事情发生前意识到某人或某事的潜在危险，他们就可以做一些准备来以避免和减少受伤率。

Therefore, I advocate that parents should help their children develop self-protection awareness from birth, such as designing some situation for them to cope with. In addition, parents should teach their children to recognize the danger and how to avoid and reduce the danger from outside. Besides, children also need to develop an excellent ability of observation.

因此，我认为父母应该帮助他们的孩子从出生开始就培养自我保护意识，比如，设计一些情况来让他们应付。父母还应该教导孩子认识危险，如何避免和减少来自外界的危险。此外，孩子也需要培养优秀的观察能力。

In a word, to protect children needs both the effort of parents and children themselves.

总之，保护儿童需要家长和孩子他们自己的努力。
