我侧耳倾听，原来是“水”发出的声音。我好奇地问：“水，你们怎么了?”水低沉地说：“小同学，你知道吗?由于你们人类在不断地浪费、索取、破坏我们水资源;由于工业排放出大量废水，我们水质受到严重污染，我们水质被污染，也直接影响你们人类的生活、生存环境呀!你们人类还让可利用的水白白流走……如今，世界上可用的淡水资源越来越少了呀!”

我听了水的话，心情格外的沉重。对呀!水是生命之源，与人们的生产生活息息相关。但，水真的是“取之不尽，用之不竭”的吗?我可以肯定地回答：“不是的。如今的水资源已经供不应求了!”而我们人类还在不断地浪费、破坏水资源。保护水资源，人人有责。希望工厂的大人们做好节能减排，因为人为的破坏是可以杜绝的，只要工厂处理好废水的排放。而人们不向河里扔塑料袋、果皮、烟头、烟盒等废物……现在人们浪费水的坏习惯很多，比如：

1.我们用抽水马桶冲掉烟头和碎细废物;

2.我们为了接一杯热水，而白白放掉许多冷水;

3.停水期间，我们忘记关水龙头;

4.我们洗手、洗脸、刷牙时，让水一直流着;

水资源是人类的共同财富，我们应当提高对水资源的认识，自觉养成节约用水的好习惯，不再让可利用的水白白流走，而让它们得到充分利用。如：

1.我们把漂洗衣物的水用于冲洗马桶等;

2.我们用淘米水、煮面水洗碗筷，这不仅能去油，又可以节水;

3.我们用洗菜水用水来浇花。

4.我们可以将养鱼的水用来浇花(这能促进花木生长呢);

5.我们可以将洗脸水用来冲厕所等。

只要我们做到了这些，就可以更大程度地节约水资源，让我们以实际行动珍惜好每一滴水，做一个优秀的环保小卫士。

水是生命之源，生命之本，人类的健康离不开水。人可以几天不进食，但不可以几天不喝水。而现在，全球有20亿人口正处于严重缺水状况!全世界每年因喝了不干净的水而死亡的儿童就有5000万人!这数字是多么令人怵目惊心!水的危机，已经向人类敲响了警钟!

中国的水资源虽然比较丰富，但分布不均，东多西少，南多北少，缺水的地方很多。而在不缺水的地方，人们浪费水、污染水的现象又太严重。

去年，学校组织同学们去茅洲河调查。来到茅洲河，河堤上全是蚂蚁窝，河面上漂满了塑料袋、旧沙发、烟盒等废物。河水早已被人类污染，散发出阵阵难闻的臭味，让人觉得很不舒服。张老师告诉我们：茅洲河是宝安区的第一大河，发源于羊台山，自东向西流经石岩、公明、松岗、沙井，注入珠江口。茅洲河存在着防洪能力低、水土流失严重，河水污染严重等问题。我想：要不是人们乱丢垃圾给茅洲河，它怎么会变成这样呢?

记得还有一次，妈妈高兴的从街上买回一个鱼头，中午用来煮鱼头汤。没想到，煮出的鱼头汤一点都不鲜甜，有股很浓的煤油味，妈妈赶紧叫我别吃，说这是受了污染的鱼，吃了会中毒。妈妈还告诉我说，一些工厂不注意保护水资源，把工业废水排入江河湖泊，造成了水资源的严重污染。鱼虾生活在这样的水中，就会慢慢中毒，死去;人类喝了这样的水，就会生病，严重影响身体健康。听后，我觉得真是可怕!为什么人类只知道赚钱，不知道保护水资源，这样下去，我们就很难喝到干净的水，到那时，人类该怎么生存呢?

我真想大声呼吁：人类啊!不要让河流变得丑陋，不要让鱼儿变成毒药，保护水吧!保护我们生命赖以生存的源泉吧!

Many people believe that we have developed into a “throw-away society” which is filling with plastic bags and rubbish. What do you think?

Wind blows up bags higher and higher in the sky. It is a scary thought that some day the earth will turn into a huge garbage land. Wastes, if not treated properly, will make our life a living nightmare.

The environmental issue is getting worse almost every day in cities with very large population. As is often the case, city development outpaces environmental protection. People consume great amount of natural resources and produce wastes. To effectively address such problems, cities need to spend big money. In addition, they need to call to the attention of people to become more environmentally responsible.

Many people are becoming less responsible and easily influenced by bad behaviors. “Why should I care while others shouldn’t?” Such idea makes some people only concern with places where they live and work. Furthermore, people sometimes even purposely litter for revenge to other people.

Although media promotes environmental awareness, good people are often snubbed as posers who try to set up a superior image in real life. Consequently, they are intimated of receiving negative comments for doing the right thing. Wrong as it is, such phenomenon is widespread especially among youngsters and people with low income and little education.

However, our society is waging a campaign against environmental pollution. People learn the harms of un-degradable lunch boxes and other polluting wastes. Laws in many countries prohibit or limit excessive use of polluting bags. Companies are continually replacing the old materials with more environmental friendly and recyclable kinds. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

With the development of our society， energy in the world bees more and more limited， so it is quite important for us to save energy and to protect our environment。 As a student， there are a lot of methods we can do to save energy at home。 For example， first， we can turn off the light as well as other appliances when we are not using them。 Second， recycle the waste water， paper and other waste so that we can reuse them。 Whats more， it is suggested to use public transportation more instead of private cars。

Above all， everyone can make a great contribution to our environment。 I hope I can learn more to develop new and clear energy， like energy from the wind and solar。

Now, "environmental protection" has become a global focus. But to truly protect the environment, we must start from ourselves and start with the small things around us.

One day, I went to play in the small river in the park. A little boy wanted to throw a fresh bottle into the river. I looked at it and said, "no matter what, Im going to play. If I take care of him, I wont be able to play." But at this time, one is old man on a fishing trip saw the little boys behavior quickly held out his hand to stop a small boy, and said to the boy: "child, dont throw rubbish into the river." The little boy listened and put down the bottle and said to the old man, "whats the big deal? Besides, this is a bottle, not a garbage." The old man listened and was not angry. Smiled and said to the boy, "son, you dont understand. You dont see it as a bottle, but it will also be like other garbage pollution water. We cant drink clean water. Moreover, the trash can is over there, a few steps away." The little boy was speechless to the old man. He said "thank you" to the old man and ran to the trash can.

I listened to that thought, "thats right. When we want to throw fruit peel, tend to throw the rubbish casually into the trash can outside, and ignored. In fact, as long as you stretch out his hand, will be thrown into the trash can. Sometimes, you can throw some wrapping paper with a, then a walk it. Later, you said cant find the trash can. In fact, trash can in a few steps away." These little things can reflect a persons moral character and whether he loves the environment around him.

Protect the environment. Its all about us. Everyone has to do their part. This will make our home more colorful!

Many animals are in danger of dying out. As is clearly shown in the bar chart, the kinds of wild animals have decreased sharply in the past decades. With 30,000 wild animals reduced on average each year, there were only 1.5 million left till 2010.

There are several reasons accounting for this problem. Apart from the polluted environment and natural disasters, illegal killing is an important reason. Human beings are making attempts to hunt wild animals for fashion and a big profit, which can be seen vividly from the right picture. This has resulted in a sharp decrease in the number of animals.

In my opinion, it is high time for us to take quick action to protect them. A national public campaign should be launched to give animals a good living environment. In addition, the government should pass some firm laws to forbid abuse killing. Only in this way can we live in harmony with wild animals.
