Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. Such as, water pollution, air pollution and noise pollution and so on. It seems that we live on a planet which is full of pollution. Where all these pollution comes from? To a large extend, the environmental destruction is the heavy price that we pay for the rapid development of economy and the growing population. In order to have more fuel, people cut down trees and dig more corals. But the growing needs for energy are hardly to meet. The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to

improve his way of life。 With the tools of technology he has altered many

physical features of the earth。 He has transformed woodlands and prairies into

farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or

Now, the new semester has begun for more than one week. I gradually adapt

to my new life in senior school. In senior school, my biggest feeling is busy,

morning, I have two periods for morning reading, Chinese and English, beginning

from 7:00. After that, I have four periods in the morning and four other in the

这位同学好像有些明白学习的重要性，看了几分钟的书，马上立起来听老师的讲课。课上一半时，老师为了扫查班上的敢死队，把同学们一个叫起一个问问题。这下可让这群敢死队员们开始惶恐不安了，他们连书都顾不着看呢。而这位队员呢，看一会儿就学学，这一招算是对他的MISS了。

这位同学可是班上的霸王级分子了（注：别乱想，不是我啊），他可是一人之下，几十人之上，谁敢对他不敬，他的落雷马上就落在你头上了，（注：我已经欠了他3顿打了，要不是我能帮他弄电脑作业，我早就魂飞天了）因此每人敢告发他。不知是她的好运还是老师放水，他这样看了一堂课，竟然都没半点被批评，真太不公平了！！

谁知道，老师从天而降，为了抓住敢死分子，居然来个背后突袭，到所有座位后边地毯式搜索。5名敢死队员唰地一声，在同一时间内放下书，装起乖乖。只有敢死队员6号稳如泰山，而老师的目光明明瞄准了他，可老师却好像在放水一样，竟纵容他在自己眼皮子底下活动，真气死人了！而其他5位的敢死队员便无机可乘，只好乖乖停课，唯独6号占了便宜。

今天我演讲的题目是：保护森林，人人有责。

我们身边到处有人假惺惺地传播保护环境的思想，可是他们自己却没有做到。很多时候，当我们兴致勃勃地来到花园，映入眼帘的不是满含芳香的花朵，而是一堆堆腐臭的落花。或许有人说：那是因为花儿太脆弱了，树木比他们强多了，四处肯定郁郁葱葱。

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. 我们平时用的洗菜水可以把它留下，用来浇花，冲厕所;洗衣机第2、3次排的水也可以留下，用来冲洗地板;还有拖地板的水，可别小看它，它一样可以冲厕所哟!为了保护水资源，我还想提议如下几点建议：

1.充分利用水资源，不浪费。

2.不向江、湖、河、沟排放废水、垃圾。

3.不要在沟边洗脏衣服。

4.向周围的人宣传“保护水资源”。

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. 我曾经看过一幅漫画，画上有一个水龙头在滴水，水龙头下有一个水桶正接着水，但水在桶里转了一圈又流了出来，原来是水龙头坏了，可是却用一个破水桶来接水。杜绝浪费不能只讲形式，要有实际行动，更重要的是要有杜绝措施。在网上我曾经看到这样一个信息，在某个大学里，有同学想出了使牛奶保鲜的方法：用冷水浇。这样，牛奶是不会坏掉了，可是却浪费了多少水啊!而这个学校的校长，对外却说他们学校的学生多么多么节约用水。

节约用水，我们应该做到以下几点：一、节约纸张，纸是用水纸浆做成的，自然离不开水。二、是向家人宣传节约用水的好处，全家制定一个用水方案。三、在双休日或节假日到污水治理厂区参观一下，增加这方面的知识并给同学讲解。四、在小区内宣传水的重要性及我们该如何保护水资源。

让我们从我做起，从现在做起，节约用水，珍惜生命，共同创造美好的未来。

On Water Shortage

No one can have failed to notice the fact that water shortage is a grave problem with which the whole world is confronted. Actually, it has become so widespread that it has severely affected peoples daily life and hindered the development of the global economy.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the critical ones. First, with the development of agriculture and industry, an increasing amount of water is needed. Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable

for us to expect a brighter future.

Tiger is one of the most valueable animals to human beings today. It is somehow like a cat, but much bigger than it. It lives in the forest, and feeds on small animals.

Nowadays, the number of the wild tiger is becoming small and small. Maybe there will be no tiger any more if people continue cutting the trees, destorying the living environment or hunt the tiger just for the skin. We must stop all these mistakes. We should protect them, because the world without tiger is not a completed one.

老虎是现在对人类最有价值的动物之一。它的外形有点像猫，但是比猫大很多。它生活在林中，以小动物为食。

现如今，野生老虎的数量越来越少。如果人类再不停止砍伐树木，不停止毁坏生存环境，不停止为虎皮而猎杀老虎，也许有一天老虎就会灭亡。我们必须终止这些错误。我们应该保护老虎，因为没有老虎的世界不是一个完整的世界。
