水，是人类不可缺少的资源之一，一旦离开它，人类将不能生存。

据有关数字检测，人体中，有60%~70%是水，也就是说水是人身体组成的重要部分，且是最重要的成分。有人曾做过实验：一个人每天只喝水，可以维持十几天的生命，而什么都不吃，维持三天就可以算是奇迹了!可见，水，对于我们是多么重要!

虽然在地球上海洋是占了71%之多，但是，可供人饮用水，即淡水资源却微乎其微，有许多国家都面临着缺水的危机，当然也包括我国!可是，与此同时，也有许多人在有用水条件下却故意浪费水，这是十分不可取的!

环境保护，这个话题，可以说是家喻户晓，人人皆知。但在现实生活中，一些人还是不太重视，认为微不足道，在我看来，环保要从件件小事做起。我就经历过这样两件小事：有一天，我去超市买东西，快到超市门口时，看见有几个散发宣传单的，见人就给，见车就放，可是有些人却不要，随手就扔地上，我过去将纸扔进垃圾箱里。又看见两个人用胶水将宣传单贴在墙上，远远望去，活像一块块“牛皮癣”趁他们不注意，我又拿出我的绝活“撕纸功”，哈哈，“牛皮癣”被我除掉了一大片。还有一次，我在楼底玩，发现远处草地上冒出了缕缕白烟，走近一看，原来，是我们班一群小孩在那里点火烧草，草黑了一大片，我以大哥哥的身份连忙制止，并讲了火灾的危险性和环保的重要性。他们羞愧难当，赶忙从附近端来水把火熄灭，结束了烧草行动。

我们人类都生活在一个星球上，那就是地球。地球上，有供我们呼吸的氧气，还有茂密的森林、辽阔的草原、无边无际的海洋、各种各样的动物，构成了美丽的大自然。

我想大声呼吁人们：地球属于我们人类，属于我们大家，只要用我们的双手，从我做起，从人人做起，保护环境，爱护地球上的自然资源，让清澈的塘水依旧流淌在家乡，让花儿依旧那样鲜花盛开。

人类啊，是应该觉醒的时候了，睁开眼，看看我们的周围，这是我们的家园啊，让我们从此金盆洗手，用自己的双手，用自己的智慧，用自己的良心，为我们的子子孙孙留下一个和谐、美丽的家园吧，让我们为我们世世代代的绵延生存做出一份努力吧!

It seems we are living in the conflict between modern and traditional cultures every day. Hearing the blaring of horns the moment you step out of your house, seeing the so called "pop" the moment you open your eyes, you cant help thinking, "Will the traditional culture be gradually lost?"

Many people believe so. They may put right in front of you all the evidences they can dig out. They may argue that people are rushing to restaurants instead of cooking at home, listening to pop music but not traditional, wearing in a way people couldnt imagine ten years ago. Modern people like the air of freedom, not to be restrained by traditions. They offer this long list, only trying to confirm that this world is full of fashion,competition and temptation and the traditional culture is fading

and will be lost at last.

Though we are now living in a world in which undeclared aggression, war, hypocrisy, chicanery, anarchy are part of our daily life. Though this is a skeptical age, and our faith has weakened, our confidence in some aspects of the traditional culture should and would never be lost.

Wouldnt you agree that our traditional culture is always credited with modesty, politeness and respectfulness, which have always been treasured for more than five thousand years?Even in this modern world, people still admire those with good manners, those who are polite to others or respectful to old people.

Wouldnt you agree that our Chinese traditional music is beautiful and artistic and our Chinese tea culture is always an appealing treasure to people around the world?

So there may just be some changes in our lifestyle or our attitudes towards life, but little change occurs to some fundamental aspects of our traditional culture that people still treasure in heart.

I believe the school environment protection are important because students need a quiet and pollution-free environment to study. What we need to do in order to maintain our clean and neat environment to our students? First, we will need to have giant garbage can around each corner. Second, we will need to have school policies regarding littering and spits on the ground, where students and teachers would be fine if they violated the school policies. Third, we also will need to have garbage cans in classrooms, school main entrance, back door, parking lots, basketball court, ect. Last, we will need to announce the school policies, so the students and teachers will need to follow. By doing all this, we can promise the clean and neat environment for our current and future students.

水是地球给予人类世界上一切生物的灵魂,没有水就没有生物,虽然人人都知道水是生命之源,但是这些年来,人类不但不保护水资源,还大量地破坏水资源。例如,居民把垃圾废物、医院把带有病毒的脏水、农药厂造纸厂等把污水排到了水的体内。水被污染的混浊不堪,散发着臭气,甚至河里的鱼虾等都难以生存。更可恨的是人们过度地乱砍滥伐,随意地破坏地球的保护神--森林,造成了严重的水土流失,使环境恶化。

比如说,我妈妈小时候住的小屋旁有一条清澈的河流,在阳光的照耀下,波光粼粼,在河岸上可以清晰地看到水底游来游去的鱼虾,可是,当我们现在来到这条河边时,它再也不是以前的那么清澈见底,已经变成了一条污水沟,这里水质发黑、浑浊,垃圾满河飘,臭气熏天,死鱼无处不在,和以前的那一条美丽的河流相比真是有天攘之别。像这样的流淌不息的河流都已经被污染成这样了,何况杂草丛生、死水一潭的小河流呢,更是污染严重,水资源根本无法食用。

水创造了文明,滋润了万物。我们要如何去保护水资源呢?

我们要从身边的小事做起,从现在起要学会珍惜和合理利用每一滴水。 可以循环利用的水决不浪费,生活中很多的水是可以再利用的,比如洗脸,洗衣服的水,完全可以用来洗厕所。如果在家庭用水中改掉不良习惯,约可以节省70%的水。节水不仅仅是在家庭生活中,大家还应该关心周围环境中有无漏水情况,如发现问题,及时向有关部门报告;同时在城市生活中,相关部门的工作人员可以想办法提高污水的回用率,达标后用于冲厕、城市景观喷水、绿地浇灌、工厂冷却水、洗车等。当然还要多植树造林,防止水土流失。淡化海水,扩大淡水来源。那么,我们听到的将是欢声笑语,看到的将会是人间真情。

让全社会都来了解水、关心水、珍惜水、节约水和保护水,让我们共同远离污染,珍惜水资源,保护好我们美丽的家园吧!

One Sunday afternoon, I casually adjust the TV channel. All of a sudden, disastrous scene into my line of sight: a peasant who was holding a piece of iron hammer, turned out to be a butcher is a not how big head of pig slaughter.

I saw all this. Found that pigs fate was so miserable! Is this fate arranged? Or pigs caused by past delicious lazy? I found the "people" are so cruel. Oneself have so long pig, cruel to kill it. Ah, I found that at the moment I was so sad, so sad, so lost, so helpless. In nature there are many more miserable than this things are happening, perhaps this is fate, it is inevitable in the growing of a test.

Not often say that animals are friends of human beings? Not often say that people for the ethical treatment of animals, protect the earth? Maybe this is just for those rare animals! Those animals that almost nearly perish! Pigs in a country of the world, one city, a town, a village, or even a home, a person can see. Pigs are a lot of, is not worth to treat? Pig also is to have life, and human beings, it also know pain, also have feelings, also know how sad. People for the ethical treatment of animals! The animals as their friends, for they give a little love!

Animals are friends of human beings, like humans, are the people of the earth. Let us hands reach out, to protect, to help those who need help human friends!

一个周日的下午，我漫不经心地调着电视频道。突然，惨不忍睹的一幕进入我的视线：一个农民模样的人正拿着一根铁棍敲打什么，原来是一群屠夫正在屠杀一头不怎么大的小猪。

我亲眼目睹了这一切。发现猪的命运竟是这么悲惨!难道这是命运安排好的吗?还是猪前世的好吃懒惰造成的?我发现“人”竟是那么狠心。自己养了这么长时间的猪，竟然狠心杀掉它。哎，我发现此刻自己竟是那么的伤心，那么的悲痛，那么的迷惘，那么的无奈。大自然中还有很多比这更悲惨的事情正在发生，或许这就是命运，这就是在成长中不可避免的一次考试。

不是常说动物是人类的朋友吗?不是常说善待动物，保护地球的吗?可能这只是针对那些稀有的动物罢了!那些几乎将近灭亡的动物罢了!猪在世界的某个国家，某个城市，某个城镇，某个村庄，甚至某家某户都可以见到。猪是很多，多到不值得善待?猪也是有生命的，和人类一样，它也知道痛，也有感情，也懂得伤心。善待动物吧!把动物当成自己朋友，对它们付出一点爱吧!

动物是人类的朋友，同人类一样，都是地球的子民。让我们伸出双手，去保护，去帮助那些需要帮助的人类的朋友吧!
