古今中外，凡是到过长城的人无不惊叹于它的磅礴气势和宏伟规模。长城是一座稀世珍宝，也是艺术非凡的文物古迹，它象征着中华民族坚不可摧、永存于世的意志和力量，它是中华民族的骄傲，也是全世界人民的骄傲!

The joyous Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated on the fifteenth day of the

eighth moon, around the time of the autumn equinox(秋分). Many referred to it

simply as the "Fifteenth of the Eighth Moon".

This day was also considered as a harvest festival since fruits, vegetables

and grain had been harvested by this time and food was abundant. Food offerings

were placed on an altar set up in the courtyard. Apples, pears, peaches, grapes,

pomegranates(石榴), melons, oranges and pomelos(柚子) might be seen. Special foods

for the festival included moon cakes, cooked taro(芋头)and water caltrope(菱角), a

type of water chestnut resembling black buffalo horns. Some people insisted that

cooked taro be included because at the time of creation, taro was the first food

discovered at night in the moonlight. Of all these foods, it could not be

omitted from the Mid-Autumn Festival.

水是生命之源，我们要保护水资源，如果没有水，树木不能生长，花草不能开放，生命会停止呼吸，地球也会变成一个枯黄衰竭的星球。所以，我们要保护好这珍贵的生命之源。

星期四，我和爸爸一起去澡堂洗澡，看见了许多浪费水的水的人。有的人把水龙头开开，迟迟不见人的踪影。我还看见有的人随意把水往外泼，浪费水资源。于是我便上前关上水龙头。还去劝告那些浪费水的人，可是那些人说：“我已经付过钱了，你管不着，我想怎样浪费就怎样浪费。”“浪费是可耻的，我不管你了。”我气冲冲的说道。说完便走了。

我国有十三亿人口，如果每人节约一滴水可以节约多少水资源，不知会有多少人从中受益，现在，我要教大家一些节水小窍门：洗脸用过的水可用来洗脚；淘米水可用来擦家具；洗菜的最后一道水，可用来洗抹布；衣物多时，用洗衣机洗，衣物少时用手洗，洗衣后的水可用来洗拖把；用收集的家庭废水冲厕所，可以节约清水；垃圾不论大小，都应集中起来，从垃圾通道清除，而不要从厕所用水来冲；洗手时不开很大的水；不用水时应关紧水龙头；设备漏水时，应及时修好。

希望大家可以节约用水，让我们一起保护水资源吧！

Dear humans, I have to write to you because my friends are dying.The reasons are as follow.First,you damage the forests and take up too much land where we live.Second,you humans even kill the endangered animals for food,many of us have been killed over the past years.But as you all know,animals and humans are good friends.We live in Earth,relying on each other.Without animals,humans wont live long.So,humans should protect animals,that means protecting yourselves. 水是生命之源，任何生物离开了它都将无法生存。现在的水资源又如此紧缺，我们却还要浪费，这就是一种耻辱，因此，我们要保护水资源。

地球虽有七分海三分地之说。但这七分水中，淡水却是其中的十分之一。如此稀少的可食用水，却要支撑起全世界生物的生命，看到这儿，想必你也担心了，如果有一天世界上突然没水了怎么办?呵呵，如果我们节约用水，保护好水资源，那样，你的担心就是多虑的了。因此，我提了以下几点建议，希望大家可以为了我们美好的明天而行动起来!

一、水库，湖泊。水库，湖泊中的水大多数是我们的生活用水，所以不要在水库，湖泊中洗涤，不要把非食用皮，有毒物质倒入其中，不把工业废水排入其中，看见请及时举报

二、家庭。家庭也离不开水，洗澡、做饭、浇花都需要水，所以我们要循环使用家庭用水，洗澡沐浴时尽量关闭水龙头，可以用洗澡水冲马桶，用淘米水浇花，不但节约了水，还提高了土壤中的营养成分，真是一举两得

三、工厂。河流中的污水大多数来自工厂中排出的废水，这种废水不但不可以再次利用，而且还会污染饮用水，所以希望工厂统一把废水拉到污水处理厂，不把废水排进河流中，以免污染了生态用水

这就是我的一点建议，我想，如果我们可以做到这几点，那么明天的世界就会水更绿，天更蓝。治污水、防洪水、排涝水、保供水、抓节水，五水共治，让我们一起行动起来吧!
