有一天看到电视里的潜水员正从海里出来，看到他很累。我问爸爸是为什么?爸爸说：“是因为水压的问题。”我听得一头雾水。爸爸看见，我一副丈二和尚摸不着头脑的样子，就说：“让我们来做一个实验吧!”

爸爸让我找来了：1个2升的汽水罐、1卷胶带、1个钉子、1个平盘。

我放好汽水罐，用钉子在离瓶底2厘米、4厘米、8厘米和10厘米的小孔。然后用胶带吧三个空封住，将胶布撕开。我瞪大了眼睛，目不转睛地盯着，你知道出现什么现象了吗?三个孔的有什么不同吗?只见，离底部2厘米流出的水喷射的最远，其次是离底部4厘米的水，喷得最近的是离底部10厘米喷出的水。为什么会这样呢?我疑惑不解地盯着爸爸。

爸爸说：“这证实了谁的深度不同，水的压力不同。水越深，压力就越大;水越浅，压力就越小。所以离瓶底2厘米的小孔射得最远，离瓶底10厘米的小孔射得最近。”

为了知道压力还和什么因素相关。我又做了个小试验：我用一根吸管往纸盒里加水。当水快到吸管口时，纸盒的底部裂开了多次试验，结果都是一样。原来，水压的重量有关。因为纸盒底部须承受的重量大，因此承受的水压也就是最大，所以纸盒的底部裂开了。看到这里，我恍然大悟，爸爸又对我说：“水压，在我们的生活中无处不在，比如说“锅炉”。爸爸一说完，我马上接口道：“还有热水器、洗衣机……”

确实水压无处不在，人类也利用水压的原理制作出了水泵水压传感器、自来水水压控制仪、物业管理水压力控制仪器……不管是水龙头流出的水还是河里的水都有水压。所以说水压对我们人类也作出了许多贡献。

从古到今，有许许多多的发明和发现，正是这些发明和发现，促进了科技发展，也改变着我们一点一滴的生活。今天通过和爸爸妈妈的聊天，使我对科技有了更深刻的认识。

吃完饭，爸爸打开电视，我们看到电视屏幕上出现了一幅农民伯伯开着收割机，开心地收割麦子的画面。画面上，收割机收麦的速度非常快，这边收割麦穗，那边就出来麦粒。看到农民伯伯乐呵呵的样子，他一定在想：有了这么发达的科技，今年的庄稼指定又是大丰收呢！

In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal University life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal University life.

Those, however, are not what University life is all about. As we all know, University is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal University life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.

Under this circumstance, I never expect my University life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. 我们的脚下的土地无时不刻发生着天翻地覆的变化，这一切都源于科技！ 随着时代的进步，科技生活也逐渐进入了我们的生活。科技，一个具有时代性的词，在我们的耳中听着似乎并不会感到陌生，因为我们所处在的环境就是科技伴随的时代。

哪里有困难那里就需要科技，那是曾经人们的认为。而如今，科技已经走进了我们每家每户，它给我们带来了诸多方便，让我们得到了更加美好的生活。

科技，其实简单的说，我就把它当做旷野中的矿藏。虽然宝贵，但要想得到它，却来之不易啊 它需要我们历经时代的努力，耗费我们的经历和知识去发掘它，科技给人类带来的冲击实在是太大了，科技所涉及到的方方面面实在是太广了，那么今天我仅就时下最时髦的一个话题——创新，来谈谈我对科技走进生活的感受。

假如我是科技奥运设计师，在我的设计下，我要办一届现代化的奥运会：运动员要去什么地方，只要在自己的手上输入地址就行了，通过空间遂道你立即就可以到了想去的地方。那就不会受到场地的限制，如田径类的我们可以在四川比，如体操类，我们可以在上海那儿比，如果是举重类的，我们可以在新疆比……如果哪里空气里的含氧量不够，我们可以用氧气制造厂的氧气来补充。如果哪能里的温度不适合或天气不适合，我们可以发明一个室内、外天气温度调节器……想想，那样将会多好啊。未来这都是科技都能办到的事情。

现在我们身边的一切，源于哪里？我想人人都会有不同的见解，有的人莫过于认为是些创新的观念而得来的，而我认为，这些科技的进步和发展不仅仅是来源与思想观念。而更多地是来自人们那丰富的大脑，他们善于思考，敢于创新，最后朝着自己的理想而进发。因此那些出色的科技成果莫过于这些人的功劳。

Summer can be very hot in southernxx where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has just ended I went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school education and would after graduation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, but later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and only occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

以前，没有相机，人们只能把一些美丽的景色记在脑子里，无法用图片记录某种景物，现在，家家户户都有了相机，出门在外，相机就是最好的伴侣。在没有电脑的时候，人们可能需要翻看许多书籍才能找到答案，有了电脑，人们可以很快查到自己想要的资料……科技给我们带来了极大的便利。

我最爱看科教频道的《我爱发明》，里面讲的都是一些科学发明。让我记忆犹新的是那台“山楂去核机”。它长的不怎么好看，一个圆圆的转盘上上面有不少小管子，下面是对应的插山楂的孔，还有一个出口负责收山楂的。接通电源后，放山楂的转盘开始转动，当山楂和小管子对齐，管子就会下压，核就会被取出，山楂继续惯性前进，掉到箱子里。因为机器旋转的速度非常快，去核速度要比人工的速度要快的多，大大节省了时间。

看了这个“山楂去核机”的发明，让我想到只有爱动脑筋，肯于钻研，才能让科技服务我们的生活。有多少科学家都是因为勤学好问，善于动脑才发明出那些对我们有用的东西。

科技改变生活，这句话一点都不错，是科技让我们的生活更美好，是科技让我们过的更幸福!

In the first place, it contributes to escape us from laborious work, save our time, facilitate our lives.Secondly, with computer’s extensive reach into every corner of the world, a perspective of human life can be shown only with a single keystroke.No matter where we are, in school, business workshops, operating rooms, labs, banks of halls of government, the Internet appears to reflect a perspective of human life.Furthermore, computer profits us by relaxation and entertainment it provides.

But on the other hand, some people debate that it is also inconvenient, waste the time, isolated us from people, and make our lives more complicated.Some people repair the most sophisticated computer but can’t mend a pair of socks.Yet in fact, computer collapse the distances and demolishes all boundaries.Whether computer is a blessing or a curse, depends on different circumstance and the way you use it.

但另一方面，一些人反对说电脑也很不方便，浪费时间，和人们孤立起来，并使我们的生活更复杂。有些人会修理最复杂的计算机，但却不能修补一双袜子。但事实上，电脑消灭了距离并拆除所有的界限。计算机是祝福还是诅咒，取决于不同的情况和使用它的方式。

As a new millennium appoach, we look forward to constructing a new fantasy land by combination with the wealth this new age will bring and the high technology it will provide.

网络，是一把具有好与坏的双刃剑。

前不久，我们家换了一台新电脑，上网可方便了。不过网络也是有它的两面性。

一、好的一面

说起好，它的好处也有许多。比如：可以网上购物，可以发送文件，方便查资料……所以，这台电脑也是我们家的“抢手货”——爸爸需要用它查阅有关历史和军事方面的文章;妈妈需要用它打文章、写报告;而我就需要用它查我学习资料，聊天。

每当傍晚时，我总是第一个抢到电脑。而这时，爸爸就会来唠唠叨叨，说大家一定要了解一些国家大事。没办江，为了耳朵的清静，我被迫退下了QQ。吃过晚饭，妈妈又说需要写报告了。你说爸爸会怎样?他当然败下阵来啊!网络，改变了我的生活。

二、坏的一面

虽然网络的好处有许多，但是它的坏处也不少。相信你也知道吧?如果小学生沉迷在网络里，不仅学习会下降，视力也会逐步下降。而且，关于因网络引起的事件也很多，大多数都是家长不给小孩钱玩网络游戏，小孩就把他们杀害了。所以，大家一定要小心这坏的一面，不然就害人害己。

不仅是网络，有许多事物都有两面性，只有正确地认识它们，才能避免危害。

网络，是一把具有好与坏的双刃剑呀!

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical,would not show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

There would have been more I love yous ... more Im sorrys...but mostly, given another shots at life, I would seize every minute... look at it and really see it...live it...and never give it back.

I was in primary school through the fifth primary school, happy time for less homework, the teacher always tells stories. The first grade when I do not love learning, but after the third grade I began to love learning, because the teacher says learning fun for us, and we often have sports activities.

I will forever remember my elementary school schoolmate, elementary schoolteacher, also will forever remember my unforgettable elementary school life.

我的小学是在五小度过的,小学的快乐时光因为作业少,老师经常讲故事.一年级的时候我不太爱学习,但三年级以后我开始喜欢学习,因为老师给我们说学习的乐趣,还有经常的体育活动.

我会永远记住我的小学同学,小学老师,也将永远记住我难忘的小学生活.

我的校园生活My College Life

From 2005 to 2008, I spent my college life in Hunan First Normal College. Reminding my college life, I think it was of great significance.

从2005到2008，我在湖南第一师范学院度过了我的大学生活。说起我的大学生活，我认为是很有意义的。

When I was in college, I studied very hard. As a major of English, I often practiced my oral English. Every time, I could think in English. After thinking and expressed my thoughts to others in English. Although sometimes I couldnt speak English so freely, other people still appreciated me, because of my confidence.

我在大学的时候，很努力学习。因为是英语专业，我经常联系英语口语。 每一次，我能用英语的方式来思考。在思考之后我会把我的想法用英语表达给其他人。虽然有时我英语说得不是很流利，其他人还是很欣赏我，因为我的信心。

In English class, I was always the first one to open my mouth, so my teachers always praised me for my good pronunciation, and my classmates also admired me for my courage. It seemed as if I were on top of the world.

在英语课上，我总是第一个开口说话的，所以老师总是称赞我的发音很好，我的同学们也很佩服我的勇气。我似乎是站在了世界之巅。

However, I have few chances to speak English now, because my job has nothing to do with English. What a great pity! How I wish to work with foreigners, so that I can use my great English.

然而，我现在很少有机会说英语了，因为我的工作与英语没有关系。多么遗憾啊！我是多么的希望能和外国人一起工作，这样我就可以使用我优秀的英语了。
