有想法就要有行动。于是，我和我的父母开始了一段低碳生活。

夏日炎炎的时候，我觉得家里很闷热，开着空调有太浪费。一会儿，我想和爸爸去游泳。爸爸对我说：“我们骑摩托车去吧。”我摇摇头，说：“骑摩托车耗费能源，游泳池离这儿不远，不如步行去吧。”爸爸称赞道：“好主意，你真是个懂得节约的好孩子。”

所以，我们就步行来到了游泳池，这样不仅锻炼了身体，还节约了能源。这难道不是一举两得吗？

有一次，我们去离家较远的地方购物，妈妈挑选了少量的东西，正准备去付钱，爸爸上前阻止，说：“购物太少不好，尽可能一次性购足，就少了几次购物，也省了车油。”妈妈说：“是个好办法。”因此，我们把所需的东西一次性买足，这真是省力又省时。

平常，我们家总是把水来循环使用。我妈妈用淘米水来浇浇花草，淘米水对花草而言更比清水有营养。这样，不但节约了水，也滋润了花草。用洗衣水拖地，接着冲马桶。虽然多费了些功夫，但是因为能更充分的利用水资源，我们总是乐此不彼。喝剩的酒能擦电视机的屏面，可以倒入墨汁中，使颜色加深……

低碳生活要从节电、节水、节碳、节油、节气这种小事做起。只要我们大家一起去行动，就一定可以让我们的生活更低碳环保，从而让我们共同的地球拥有更美好的明天！

日本的堀江幸子，今年已经90岁了。她80岁学电脑，2006年2月开通“幸子的舒心博客”，至今已经坚持了六年。六年间，幸子上传的绘画作品达2000多张，主要是描绘身边事物的景物画，主题有公园风景、鸭子和绵羊等动物，也有花瓶和水壶等。由于幸子的画作风格清新，让人心旷神怡，引来无数网友围观，日点击率高达两万，被人誉为“治愈”博客。幸子的故事鼓舞了很多老年人生活的信心，她说：“我还想进行新的尝试，只要不生病，就算到100岁也要坚持下去。”

同学们,当我们坐在电视机前收看丰富多彩的节目时我们手按鼠标在计算机的世界里畅游时;当我们在春光明媚的季节里津津有味地吃着西瓜时……我们可曾想过：是什么给我们的生活带来那么多的变化?是科学!是科学技术的巨大力量,改变了我们身边的一切,改变了整个世界!

随着科技的进步,世界的面貌都发生了哪些变化呢?

奶奶说：人的寿命变长了!在科学不发达的时代,饥饿和疾病一直是威胁着人类生存的大敌,无数的人被疾病和饥饿无情地夺去宝贵的生命.我国在新中国建立以前,人口的平均寿命只有35岁.怪不得姐奶奶以前老念叨着“人生七十古来稀”唉声叹气.而现在,奶奶有什么头疼脑热的,到医院买些药打几针就好啦.所以,奶奶整天乐呵呵地自夸身体好,还说什么“人活百岁不稀奇”呢!

爸爸说：我们的劳动变轻松了!再也不用像爷爷那时候一样——脸朝黄土背朝天,靠艰苦的体力劳动,靠捉摸不定的老天爷吃饭了.在采用高新技术的农业园区里,耕地、播种、收割等程序都可以用计算机来管理,用农业机械来完成.它使人们从繁重的体力劳动中解放了出来.

妈妈说：我们的生活变好了!以前,人们总要为温饱问题发愁.科技的发展,让我们装满了米袋子,盛满了菜蓝子,不但吃得饱,而且吃得好,吃得更丰富了.去年,我家还盖起了两间四层高的楼房.我也有了自己的小天地,爸爸还在我的房间里安装了空调器,冬暖夏凉,我可以安安静静、舒舒服服地在里面写作业看故事书啦.

要我说呢,我觉得科学技术的进步,把世界变小了!每年春节,隔壁的张大爷都要通过越洋电话,和远在台湾的弟弟通话祝贺,相隔万里的亲人如在耳边.想唐僧到印度取经,一路上跋山涉水、风餐露宿、历尽艰辛,整整走了好几年才到达目的地.现在,快速安全的汽车、 轮船、飞机等交通工具把我们的足印在了地球上几乎所有的地方.这个“五一”节,我们一家还去了一趟首都北京呢!

在世界的东方,我们的先人发明了火药、指南针、印刷术、造纸术,创造了自己辉煌的历史.我们幸运地生长在一个崭新的时代,科学的花朵从来没有像今天这样鲜艳夺目,科学的道路从来没有像今天这样宽广.同学们,让我们从小就培养起爱科学、学科学的好习惯,树立科学精神,勇攀科学高峰,去创造美丽的家园.

Nowadays ,many people are talking about lowcarbon living. I think each and every one of us is responsible for the greenhouse gases we emit in our daily actions and choices. Therefore, combating climate change is going to take the combined efforts of everyone on the planet.

2010 World Expo was held in Shanghai. Shanghai Expo theme is "Better City, Better Life." As a student, we should do something about environmental protection. For example, plant trees, save water and less your car.

Protect Our Environment It is important to beal with the rubbish in cities. Our world was colorful,beautiful and full of life. But these years, people have built many factories along rivers. Many trees have been cut down. Many animals have lost their homes. Factories causepollution. Rivers become polluted. As a student, you should do every things in your everyday life to protect them. First, stop wasting more water. Second, throw waste things into different dustbins. For example, waste paper should be throw into paper recyclable bins. Third, stop cutting down trees.Instead, plant more. Fourth, pick up garbage inthe park or on the road when we are free. Last, call on more and more people to pay attention to contrlling pollution.
