As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and

He was so addicted to tobacco that he couldn`t even skip acigarette in the corridor at the interval between two classes. Due to the long time consumption of cigarettes, his teeth had gone totally bad and occasionally let off unpleasant smell which really disturbed us when we were talking to him. When September comes, it means the new semester begins. Many freshmen come to the campus and the first thing they do is to get the military training. Some people question about the military, they think it is unnecessary because students don’t have to be the soldiers. While in my opinion, military training is in need.

Military training can cultivate students with strong will. Most students live with their parents before they come to school and with the parents’ protection, they don’t have much life experience. Military training is hard and during the training, students can stand the hard time, so they can get used to the life coming to them.

军训能够培养学生们坚强的意志。大部分学生在来到学校前都是和父母住在一起，受到父母的保护，他们没有太多的生活经验。军训是苦的，在这期间，学生能够忍受艰难的时光，因此他们能适应即将到来的校园生活。

The military training can teach the students to obey the rules. It is known to all that soldiers’ duty is to obey the order, so students will have the sense of obeying the rules. When they come to study, they know what they should do and what they should refuse.

军训能教会学生遵守规则。众所周知，军人的任务就是服从命令，因此学生就会有服从规则的意识。当他们在学习的时候，就会知道什么该做，什么该拒绝。

There is no doubt that military training is very important, though it is hard, it will do good to students.

毫无疑问，军训是很重要的，虽然苦，但是有利于学生。

China has often been criticized for the rampant practice of software piracy. Take a look around. We operate on pirated Windows systems, defend PC security with pirated Kaspersky anti-virus programmes, process files with pirated Microsoft Office, draft 3D designs with pirated AutoCAD, refine pictures with pirated Adobe Photoshop, and study English with pirated Kingsoft’s electronic dictionaries and translators. It’s no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere。

The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?

Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature it’s a no-win situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time: Technically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering, so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly。
