大家好,现在请允许我做自我介绍。我的名字叫李蕾。我今年14岁了。我的生日在10月11日。我最喜欢的小说是暮光之城。我非常喜欢那些关于吸血鬼的书籍。我的爱好是唱歌。有人说我唱得很好听。我最喜欢的歌手是贾斯汀比伯。我认为他是个很棒的歌手。我很喜欢唱他的歌。除了唱歌,我还喜欢逛街。如果我有时间,我就会和朋友去逛街。我的英语很好,如果你有什么问题,你可以问我。我会尽我最大的努力帮助你。我们可以成为一生的好朋友。

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong

University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I

am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer

Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the

ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.

Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

I have a small mobile phone, is my dad gave me in the Internet, why call it a small mobile phone? Listen to me explain to you slowly.

This phone is The Times of childrens mobile phone, is my favorite cat form of appearance, but also pink! I can like it, though it is not a smartphone, function is very simple, can not play games on QQ, but its dad specially selected for me, I asked dad why people use smart phones, bought so original mobile phone back to me. Dad told me that the phone has a unique model of parents, can through the global satellite positioning, so dad can find me at any time! So that is what it boils down to. I see my dads a piece of my heart, to embrace this original mobile phone.

My cell phone is my little assistant, it when I need help, always help me, such as one time, I was in cram school, the teacher in advance the class was over, but dad still dont know, how to do? My cell phone is like my best friend reminded me that call dad, tell him ahead of the class was over, hurry up to pick me up. At another time, I have a cold, what what to eat to vomit, but I decided to go to cram school insists on that day, the class to the half of the time, I was really sick, sick, for the sake of my health teacher approval I returned home early, so I picked up my little assistant called to tell my dad, my dad arrived immediately, took me to see the doctor, go home for a rest, the second day I am all good!

Small mobile phone with me, can play a lot in my study and life indelible role, so I love my small mobile phone!

我有一部小手机，是爸爸给我在网上淘的，为什么叫它小手机呢?听我慢慢解释给你们听吧!

这款手机是贝倍安的儿童专用手机，外形是我最爱的猫咪形的，而且还是粉色的呢!我可喜欢它了，虽然它不是智能手机，功能十分简单，不能玩游戏不能上QQ，但是它是爸爸特意给我挑选的，我曾问爸爸为什么在别人都用智能手机了，还给我买了这么原始的手机。爸爸告诉我，这款手机它有个独特的家长模式，可以通过全球卫星定位，这样爸爸就可以随时找到我啊!原来是这样啊!我明白了爸爸的一片良苦用心，就欣然接受了这原始的手机。

我的手机是我的小助手，它在我需要求助的时候，总是帮助我，比如有一次，我上补习班，老师提前下课了，但是爸爸还不知道啊，怎么办?我的手机就好像我最好的朋友提醒我，打个电话给爸爸，告诉他提前下课了，快点来接我。还有一次，我感冒了，吃什么吐什么，但是那天我还是决定坚持去上补习班，结果课上到一半的时候，我实在不舒服了，吐了一地，为了我身体着想，老师批准我提前回家，于是我拿起我的小助手打电话把情况告诉爸爸，爸爸马上赶到，接了我去看了医生，回家吃了药好好休息，第二天我就全好了!

小手机伴随着我，在我学习和生活中发挥了许多不可磨灭的作用，所以我爱我的小手机!
