那时是下午了，您还得做晚饭，我从门缝里瞧见您的身影忙忙碌碌，我正要帮忙，您看见了我，一边炒菜一边对我说：“肖肖，不要过来，小心被油溅到了！”可是，您的手背被油溅到了，您却顾不上这个，只是轻轻地皱了一下眉头，就拿起锅铲，炒起菜来。我记得，您炒完菜，把菜端到饭桌上，就来到水池旁，打开水龙头，冲了一番，我清晰地记得，您的手背上起了一个小泡。

吃过晚饭后，我们都在看电视，我左看看，右看看，就是看不见您的身影，忽然看到您从楼梯上下来，怀里抱着一堆衣服，我走过去，跟您说我要帮忙，您却努努嘴，说：“没事，我一个人就得，你去看电视吧。”说着还朝我笑笑，似乎在说：“不要担心。”但我看得出来，那笑容是苦涩的。

这一天很快就过去了，您总是在忙，好像没有时间休息一下，我真担心您会突然倒下。

姥姥，您为什么要争着做事，被弄疼了也一声不吭？外公在世时，您也是忙这忙那，现在外公走了，您更忙了。你似乎永远停不下来，这是为什么？因为太忙，您的白发更多了；因为太忙，您的背更弯了；因为太忙，您的眼睛浑浊了，无神了，没有以前那么明亮了。皱纹密密麻麻地爬满了您的脸上，半年过去了，您更苍老了。

我始终记得，您对我说：“这个家是用我的双手支撑下来的，我十分的快乐，我是不会知道什么是疲倦。”是呀，虽然干活很累，但我从您洋溢着笑容的脸上看到，姥姥您心里充满了快乐，当一声声“妈妈”“姥姥”响起，您总乐呵呵的，一边说：“好好。”您似乎不会累，因为您看到了您用自己双手支撑下来的家十分美满幸福。
