Dragon Boat Festival， often known as Tuen Ng Festival or Duan Wu Festival， is a traditional Chinese festival held on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese calendar. Scientists have developed more effective technologies in waste treatment. As time goes by, more and more people put high priority on the protection of environment for a healthier life.

To sum up, people produce huge amount of garbage and the environment is seriously polluted because of lack of financial resources, sense of responsibility, or efforts. But the world will not turn into a “throw away” society if people put in sufficient efforts to protect our environment.

树上有很多苹果。如果我要吃苹果，我首先得爬上那棵树。对我来说似乎有点难，但是值得的。我还年轻，我足够强大去生活和斗争。我相信通过我自己的努力我能尝到甜甜的苹果。

坚持是人生的希望，在没有走出困境的时候，坚持是对生命的渴望。

2008年5月12日中午的2时28分，在四川省汶川县发生了8.0级的大地震，在这次地震中，有多少人倒下了。死神是无情的，它在废墟中拽走了多少人的宝贵的生命。

父母们用自己的身躯阻挡住废墟，让他们的孩子躲在他们的底下;教师们用自己最大的努力，来挽救他们那些可爱的学生;孩子们也在用自己的力量就出他们的同学、朋友。一切的一切，他们都在与命运挑战着。

被压在废墟中的人，他们也知道，如果他们闭上了眼睛，那么他们将不会有希望，所以他们唯一的希望就是坚持，只有坚持。他们用最大的努力坚持着，他们渴望有人发现他们，来救他们，他们不希望生命在这一刻冻结，所以始终睁开眼睛，也许他们会睁得很小，他们努力了，他们渴望了，他们坚持了。

压在废墟下的人，十分不容易，上边多重的石板、石头压下来，下边的身子不敢动、也不能动，动了他们将会压得更重，他们也饿啊!也渴啊!他们时刻的坚持着，那里边是黑暗的，没有人陪着他们可以说话，没有人分担他们的疼痛。

希望的曙光就在这一刻而诞生，救护人员终于发现了他们，也许他们就在这个时侯，会欣慰的笑一笑，会很感激那些人，因为他们坚持成功了，等待成功了，终于有希望的曙光向他们洒下，他们会有多么的高兴，他们战胜了自己，战胜了命运，战胜了死神对他们博来得挑战，他们坚持下去了，当然，希望的光芒就属于他们。

有的人新村了下来，而有的人……坚持也是胜利，它会冒出希望的火花，让人看见她的魅力，可以看见它的也只有一部分人。在这次地震中，坚持是存活之本，坚持也是相当重要的。

在困境中，在自然灾难中，希望的曙光会为努力坚持的人而洒下，我们要有信念的去坚持。

坚持是人生的希望，在走出困境的时候，坚持是成功的一大部分。
