Last summer, I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days.

The first day, we went for a walk along the seaside, and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day, we went to a famous market and bought many keepsakes. I was going to bring these keepsakes for my friends. The last day, we had a good picnic on the seaside with the natives. They acted all kinds of programmes and made us feel happy.

It’s a very good journey, and we all enjoyed ourselves on those days. If I have another holiday, I will go there again.

又被牙医装好了牙套，这次好紧呀!不像平常那么舒服了，牙齿咬东西的感觉也从“金”牙坠到了“假”牙，真难受。我恨死自己了，为啥生出来的时候，不叫妈妈“送”我一口好牙呢?唉!

One Saturday afternoon,my mother came from someone else hold a puppy home,I jumped up and down,overjoyed!

Dog covered with black hair,only the chin of a small group of white hair.I first met the dog,two great big eyes wide open,really want to say "who do not get to me,or care of my paw." I try to approach it slowly,gently stroking it,give it feeding.Later the afternoon we passed a little bit of contact,the dog close to me to take the initiative.I gave it a name as is "Jing-jing."

Sunday morning,I and the dog becomes a pair of Jingjing inseparable friends,where he and I went where,I ran it and ran,but it was born two months,say the floor a bit slippery,it Running up and sometimes wrestling,watching wrestling and funny and it hurt.When I watch TV,it lying in my lap Mei Meis sleep on a sleep.Yes,as long as I wear cotton slippers,it will climb up the foot bed,when you take off cotton slippers,he would lay asleep on the shoes,really makes you laugh and cry!

At noon,I feel too hot to lie on the floor and play with Beijing Beijing,unwittingly actually fell asleep.Jing Jing was naughty climb up my feet from my body,and then tail it to my face,head and legs towards my bed,shaking from time to time tail,touched my face itch.I hurried up,Jingjing has turned a somersault,lay down on my lap,I giggle again.

Today was fine and cloudy, and the sky looked blue. I went to visit Guilin with my grandfather. We spent 2 hours taking a bus to Guilin.

When we got there, we went to Seven Stars Park first, which is beautiful and famous. There are many kinds of colourful flowers. They are all lovely and beautiful. We took many photos there.

After a while,we went to the zoo in the park. There are also many animals in the zoo. I like birds best, because they have beautiful feather and can sing many good songs. We watched them gladly and feed something to them.

After that, we went to the Li River. There are many famous places and bridges beside and on the river. We met many foreigners. The river water was very clean and the hills were green. It looks like a wonderful picture. We stayed beside the Li River for a long time, feeling very happy.

Should Be Encouraged to Take Part-time Jobs

More and more college students are taking part-time jobs. Some people argue that part-time jobs take up too much time that students have no time to focus on their studies whereas others think that doing part-time jobs should be encouraged in that students can get rich experience from the jobs. As far as I concern I think we should encourage students to do part-time jobs for the following reasons.

Many college students still ask their parents for money. This can be a heavy burden to some families. But if the students can do some part-time jobs and make money on their own the family pressure can be relieved to some extent. Last but not least part-time jobs can help students to find out their strengths and shortcomings. When they overcome the difficulties they will become more confidence.

It is a great way to share your culture with each other. we hanged beautiful Christmas ornaments from dorm windows. we picked up some large poster board and markers at the bookstore and made signs that read, for example, “Just Say Merry Christmas!” we also taped one sign to dorm windows facing out for everyone to see. as for the celebration at night, everybody showed their talent. some were good at singing. some preferred to dance. i shared my jokes with foreign friends. the effect was good that it aroused a big laugh. but the more interesting thing i found was that some of my classmates didnt give their responses, for they didnt understand it at all.

this is an really unforgetable christmas to me. we all had a big fun on that day.

Nowadays, there appears a phenomenon that the western customs are spreading into the east countries step by step, thus making many inhabitants who live in big cities enjoy themselves on these western festivals such as Christmas Day, April Fool’s Day, etc. Such phenomenon shows us that the world people are getting close gradually and the world is becoming smaller and smaller as well. Therefore, in my opinion, it’s a normal phenomenon s well as a necessary trend.

First of all, it shows that we Chinese have become much opener rather than clinging to some very old customs, which are opposite our living. Looking back on the history, we can find the answer to why our China was very poor and weak in the 1800’s. Yes, the answer is that we closed ourselves not to let other countries know about us, and this led us to a very hard road on which we suffered many wars that many European countries launched. So I think it is more than necessary to accept other customs instead of closing ourselves. Of course, festivals are just the beginning.

What’s more, the Open and Reform Policy results in this. So I want to say it is a great achievement for the policy. Since we took the policy into practice, our country is developing with a rapid speed. No doubt it is an essential trend.

Last but not the least, we may get closer and closer not only to our home friends but also to many foreigners. We can never feel embarrassed for not knowing the other’s customs and manners. And more misunderstandings can be avoided as well.

To sum up, the trend has its great advantage to a certain extent. However, if we admire the western customs too much, it will be a disadvantage because China is our own country, all of us should enjoy a patriotic heart. Wish in the near future, we can see the situation that westerners are enjoying themselves on the Spring Festival.

Spring Festival is very important in China.We always celebrate every  year ,and everyong likes  the Spring Festival very much.

Before Spring Festival , the people often do some shopping in the shopping mall,they buy the new ciothes,something to eat  and so on.

On New Years eve, the family will get together to eat meal.

In the Spring Festival,people usually eat dumplings.People will go to elder home happy New Year ,then children can get red packets from their grandparents, parents,uncle,aunt.

I like spring festival because we are very happy on that day.Last festival we had a good time and I will never forget it.In the morning all my family were busy preparing for it.I helped to clean the house and my parents were cooking some delicious food.On that afternoon we had a big dinner.At night we made jiaozi and set off fireworks to celebrate the festival.In the meanwhile we watched TV.My parents gave me much lucky money.The next morning we said happy new year to everybody from door to door.
