An Unforgettable Experience

There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was eolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. What’s more, I searched on the Internet for some additional information, which I thought would help me a lot in the class. At that time, I really could not wait to give the lecture.

Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me

questions about study and they were also curious about the college life. I was quite happy surrounded by a group of children.

I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. It is the self-realization that really makes our life meaningful. Although I did not get any material things from this activity, I was very happy for what I did for the children. So I hold that we should not just consider the salary in job-hunting, we should also think about whether the job can bring you spiritual enjoyment or not.

Mother bought some dumplings and some meat, today give us ready to pack dumpling to eat in the evening. Mother also taught me making dumplings before, so I will make dumplings together with my mother.

I picked up a piece of the wrappers first, and then pack up, but my mother taught me the way I all forgot, package dumplings, like bubbles, sometimes big sometimes small, mothers have to teach me again, this time I finally remember, three under two pack good, we eat in the evening, everybody said the dumplings are delicious.

回到家，放下书包，向牙科诊所“发射”，可就在这时，“唷”——妈妈的车还没到，到了“炮口的火箭”我只得迟迟地等待。过了一会儿，妈妈终于回来了，我高兴地跳了起来了。“终于可以起飞了”我心急如焚。来到牙科诊所，我的心情很愉快，因为一会就可以脱掉牙套轻松一会儿，一想起来我就觉得爽啊!当医生阿姨把两根肥大的铁丝拿出来看时，连声夸我“你真厉害!居然能弄断一根铁丝，折弯另一根铁丝，这是我生平第一次发现!”我傻眼了。

又被牙医装好了牙套，这次好紧呀!不像平常那么舒服了，牙齿咬东西的感觉也从“金”牙坠到了“假”牙，真难受。我恨死自己了，为啥生出来的时候，不叫妈妈“送”我一口好牙呢?唉!

为了美丽的牙齿，虽然带牙套很辛苦，可我一定要成为一名出色的“忍”者。

前一年，有一种十分奇怪的病缠上了我。每当发作时，我就脸色苍白，汗珠直往下流，两眼发花，连最亲近的爷爷 奶奶也不认识。严重的时候，我不停地在床上滚动，枕头、被子都被蹬到地上。爷爷两手要把我的腰压到了碗口粗，才能减轻一点疼痛 。有一次，我抓住奶奶 的衣服说：“我已经受不了了，奶奶，让我去死吧……”爷爷奶奶的眼泪哭干了也没有用，我的病一次比一次发得厉害。

为了治这病，江南、江北跑了十几家医院，花去了几万元钱，我的病也没有一点起色。记得有一次，我和爷爷、爸爸 一起去上海医院看病，到了晚上，爷爷担心第二天看病的钱不够，就没有住旅社，躺在医院又硬又凉的石板上过了一夜，爷爷脱下外衣给我当被子，可还是不顶事，我被冻得直打哆嗦，爷爷、爸爸更不用说了。哎，至于吃的药，什么中药、西药真是吃了无数，但每次我都咬牙尽力服下去，因为在我看来，那不仅是我生命，更是长辈的期望。每到我吃药时，爷爷总站在一旁，满眼泪水地说我把一生的药都吃完了，。

只要不疼，我都坚持去上学。实在不能去，我也要在家里自学。所以，虽然看了那么长时间的病，但我的成绩都是名列前茅的。

转机出现在2004年1月。经过多次治疗，上海的一位名医终于把我的病治好了。从此，我健康了，我又找到了那失去了的快乐。这段痛苦的经历让我知道更要珍惜这份健康，更要刻苦学习;这段痛苦的经历也让我立下了一个心愿，长大当一名医生，让更多的少去一段痛苦的经历。

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China .It is to celebrate the lunar calendar ‘s new year .In the evening before the Spring Festival ,families get together and have a big meal .In many places people like to set off firecrackers .Dumplings are the most traditional food .Children like the festival very much ,because they can have delicious food and wear new clothes .They can also get some money from their parents. This money is given to children for good luck . People put New Year scrolls on the wall for good fortune . The Spring Festival lasts about 15 days long .People visit relatives and friends with the words “Have all your wishes ”. People enjoy the Spring Festival ,during this time they can have a good rest .

Today was fine and cloudy, and the sky looked blue. I went to visit Guilin with my grandfather. We spent 2 hours taking a bus to Guilin.

When we got there, we went to Seven Stars Park first, which is beautiful and famous. There are many kinds of colourful flowers. They are all lovely and beautiful. We took many photos there.

After a while,we went to the zoo in the park. There are also many animals in the zoo. I like birds best, because they have beautiful feather and can sing many good songs. We watched them gladly and feed something to them.

After that, we went to the Li River. There are many famous places and bridges beside and on the river. We met many foreigners. The river water was very clean and the hills were green. It looks like a wonderful picture. We stayed beside the Li River for a long time, feeling very happy.

When we felt tired, we took the bus back home. What a wonderful time we had!

痛苦是人生必须经历的挫折，也是人生的经历。痛苦可以促使我们走向成功，痛苦可以磨练我们的意志。

Last but not the leastpart-time jobs can partly relieve students financial burdenespecially those who are from poor families.College tution fees have greatly increased in the past ten years due to the new educational policy.Many students from poor families cannot afford college feesand our bank system fail to loan college students as effectively as it does in developed countriesso taking part-time jobs becomes a way for them to meet their great expenses in campus lives.

Cheerful little birds jumped about me, chirping. They irritated me by their teasing chattering. I felt as helpless as a trapped beast. The darkness was immense, thick, suffocating. I turned to my memory for help and tried to recollect some old fragments of pictures stored in my mind. But my mind was a blur. When I was six years old, my cousin in tainan got married. Five people, including father, mother, two brothers and I, I took a taxi to the wedding. Its a beautiful scenery along the way. When I was looking at the scenery, however, the taxi door suddenly opened and I fell off immediately. My father and mother took me to the hospital. Luckily, only my nose was broken. An unforgettable experience

My mom used to say that I was born to swim. But the truth is that I didn t know how to swim until the last year of my primary school!

Mom always said that I could swim in the basin when I was only two months old. I was surprised at the amazing fact. If this was true, then why was I afraid of water? I went to swim every summer, but I didn t make a little progress. I was worried and blamed myself several times. When I watched people swimming freely, how I wished I had learnt to swim!

The story of how I learnt to swim is dramatic. One hot summer afternoon, my father and I went to the swimming pool to swim. While my father was changing his clothes, I was roaming along the bank of the pool. Suddenly I heard a voice, Look out! and then came a big noise and beautiful splashes. Just when I was admiring the swimmer s skills, I slipped into the pool! I was so afraid that I shouted at once! But the water kept coming towards me and I drank a lot of it. I was moving upside down and trying to reach the bank. I was struggling very hard to keep my head above the water.

A minute was like a hundred years to me. To my surprise, I was able to keep the style! Just then, my father, saw me and he seemed to be shocked. He then said, Calm down, just wave your arms and legs like this. Right! And I got it! I finally learnt to swim! You can t imagine how happy I was and I wanted to jump for joy!

I used to be fond of skating. But now things have changed because of a horrible experience.

One winter, the weather was so cold that water turned into ice. One day on my way home, when seeing a frozen lake, I thought that the ice must be thick enough to support me. Being so interested in skating, I couldnt help going down and sliding on the ice. Suddenly, I heard a sound of crack. Looking down, I saw the crack on the ice surface. I was frightened out of my life and didnt dare to move. But nobody could help me. I had to move toward the bank carefully.

I have rested for 10 days. in these days, i felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what.Although i had a lot of things to do, i felt uncomfortable. More and more college students are taking part-time jobs. Some people argue that part-time jobs take up too much time that students have no time to focus on their studies whereas others think that doing part-time jobs should be encouraged in that students can get rich experience from the jobs. As far as I concern I think we should encourage students to do part-time jobs for the following reasons.

越来越多的大学生去外面兼职。一些人认为兼职占用了学生太多的学习时间;另一些则认为应该鼓励学生去兼职因为他们能够从中获取丰富的经验。就我看来我们应该鼓励学生出去兼职原因如下:

First of all part-time job experience provides the opportunities for students to know about what jobs are really like and enhance their personal abilities. What’s more such experience can help them be prepared psychologically for their future jobs. Second the part-time jobs can enrich students’ daily life activities and help them to make more friends. If one has friends from different fields these friends will help him with his personal development in the future. Third taking part-time jobs can reduce the financial pressure. Many college students still ask their parents for money. This can be a heavy burden to some families. But if the students can do some part-time jobs and make money on their own the family pressure can be relieved to some extent. Last but not least part-time jobs can help students to find out their strengths and shortcomings. When they overcome the difficulties they will become more confidence.

首先兼职能提供机会让学生们了解工作到底是怎么一回事提高个人能力。其次兼职也能让他们对未来的工作做好心理准备。第二兼职能够丰富学生们的课余生活帮助他们结识更多的朋友。如果一个人有不同领域的朋友那么这些朋友会在他未来的个人发展中帮助他们。第三做兼职能够减轻经济压力。许多大学生还在问家里面要生活费。对于某些家庭来说这也许是个很沉重的负担。但如果大学生能出去做兼职自己挣钱家庭的经济压力就能有所缓解了。最后一点兼职能帮助大学生们找到自己的优缺点。当他们克服困难时就会变得更加自信。

To sum up doing part-time jobs has more advantages than disadvantages. The students can not live in the ivory tower forever. They will meet the challenges from this cruel world sooner or later. And doing part-time job is the first step to walk in this society.

总的来说兼职利大于弊。学生不能永远活在自己的象牙塔里面。他们迟早都要面对来自外面残酷世界的挑战。而兼职则是踏入这个社会的第一步。

我忘不了那一天，她和我一起在寝室里聊天。她说自己的保险柜坏了，怕有些值钱的东西被人偷走，可不可以先放在我这里。我没有犹豫就答应下来。可是后来的事情让我措手不及。她哭着找到老师，说她的钱包和首饰都不见了，那值很多钱。老师来到我们的寝室检查我们的柜子，我吃了一惊，看了看她，是一副毫不知情的样子，还在哭。当老师打开我的柜子找到东西时，她就诬赖我……

那一次，我真的很痛，心痛。第一次尝到这种感觉，尽管我那么委屈。从那以后，我们彻底分开。我问她为什么这么做，她却说自己不知道。所有的防线在那一刻全部被攻破，她就那么不以为然地在我的心上狠狠划了一刀。身体上的伤口可以包扎，而心伤，无法止血，只能看它自己慢慢愈合，无能为力。我终于明白“痛没有那么简单，身体上的疼痛会消失不见，而有的痛却那么刻骨铭心。”

苦

那么，苦又是什么感觉?和痛是不一样的，但是两者之间应该有一缕关系，不然又何来痛苦?苦，是一种委屈，悲愤。有些事情只能藏在心里，却不能说给别人听，或者根本没有人来听的感觉。接着上一次的事情说吧。被人诬赖，让人误会，却无法辩解，或者说想要辩解却没有人会听，愿意来听。一切“事实”都摆在眼前，有谁愿意来听我的诉说。也许在他们看来，这只是我的狡辩，反而会让他们更加讨厌我。我不是敢做不敢当的人，可是我没有做过的事为什么也要我来承担?

最后，我还是放弃了。自己对自己说，我自己知道我是清白的就好，不要管其它人怎么说。这也只是一种自我安慰吧!但是承担着不是自己犯下的错误，莫名其妙背负着其它人的冷言冷语，遭受到别人的排挤、白眼，真的是很苦，有点哑巴吃黄连??有苦说不出的感觉。以前看见这句话都会想笑，现在，我真的想哭。

这就是我的痛与苦，很平凡的事情，却有不平凡的感受。痛非苦，但是有痛就有苦，有苦就有痛。痛苦，苦痛，是一场平凡中带着非凡的人生经历。

成长的过程就像一片波澜壮阔的大海，我们就是行驶在大海中的一叶叶小舟，每一条小舟都不会一帆风顺;成长的过程又像一座高耸巍峨的山峰，我们就是向山顶前进的一个个旅者，每个旅者都会遇到艰难险阻。而我们只有经历了痛苦，坚持到底，才能取得成功。

不久前的学校运动会，我破天荒地参加了1500米这个项目。对于一个跑1000米都吃力的我来说，是多么大的一个挑战啊!然而，我并没有被这庞大的环形跑道所吓倒，出现在了1500米的起跑线上。我暗下决心无论如何都要跑完这1500米，不能中途放弃。对于我来说，能顺利地跑完这1500米，就是对自己的超越，就是另一种意义上的成功!

发令枪响了，20个人同时冲出起跑线。我的脚步很快、很轻盈，一股力量遍布了我的全身，一下子冲到了第一的位置。我就像一匹脱缰的野马，飞奔在平日令人望而生畏的跑道上。然而好景不长，仅仅一圈以后我的体力就明显下降，紧接着一个又一个的运动员像风一样从我身旁超过，我想追，但也只能被他们落得越来越远。跑过1000米，我与第一方阵已有了很大的距离，此时名次对我已经不重要了。我向终点望去，这不到两圈的距离对于此时的我是那么的遥不可及。我的呼吸越来越急促，累得上气不接下气，汗水像雨点一样一滴又一滴地落到了地上。腿也像灌了铅一样，越来越重，又像踏进了沼泽，越陷越深。我已失去了最初的动力，双臂很不自然地摆动着像提了两个水桶一样不断地往下坠。

这种痛苦实在令人难以忍受。我拖着沉重的身体在跑道上跑着，恨不得立刻停下来休息。这时，我听到场边同学们依然在为我加油，想起了在起跑线上下定的决心，又怎能去放弃呢?是啊，不经历痛苦，怎能取得成功?坚持到底的信念化作一股力量，眼前的道路不再是泥泞的沼泽，而是一条通向成功的光明大道，成功越来越近，终于，我到达了终点!

尽管我没有获得比赛的名次，但我可以骄傲地对自己说，我成功了，因为我战胜了自己，战胜了那曾经可望而不可及的1500米!

其实，成长的过程不正如这漫漫的1500米吗?面对痛苦，我们不能退缩，更不能放弃!只有勇敢地迎上去，经历了痛苦，才能取得成功。我知道成长的路上还会经历许多痛苦，但我会像对待1500米一样，抱着坚定不渝的信念，奔向那通往成功的终点!
