第三，日记一般按事情发生的先后顺序记述，所以常需借助一些表示先后顺序的词语，如at first, then, later on, afterwards, finally, at last等。一定要注意句与句、段与段之间的连接和过渡，适当使用一些过渡词语使其连接紧凑、过渡自然。

He has been teaching us English ever since he graduated from the English Department, Beijing Normal University in 1993. 该书在第一部和第二部热销近40万册之后，现在第三部又上市，让人觉得颇为刺激的是，这回主编"别有用心"地把"零分作文"首次和"满分作文"放一起。而让人意外的是，绝大部分网友认为，"零分作文"构思巧妙、文风犀利、观点另类，而"满分作文"除了华丽的文字和"积极向上"的主题，并没有更多让人感到新鲜的东西。--5月3日《成都晚报》

我读了这消息之后，在好奇感的驱使下，搜了些高考零分作文来读。其中的一些给我印象很深，我反复阅读之后，和众多网友的反应一样，自然而生为这些零分作文鸣不平之感。

这是一篇2006年的零分作文，题为《北京的符号──北京房价》，现将该作文部分文字摘录如下：昨天买了份房地产报，快速浏览了一下，舌头半天没缩回去。北京的房价又噌噌的上去了一截。就四环外咱公司这么一个地方，假如要拥有一套小一点的两房一厅，居然也得要100万。假如我是个工人，没有下岗，一个月拿800块钱，不抽烟，不喝酒，不结婚，不吃饭。渴了喝凉水，饿了吃烂菜叶，冷了拣破麻袋穿，总之，一分钱不花，在房价不上涨的前提前，要买那样的房子，得连续工作100年。估计，没什么工厂要这么老的工人。假如我是个农民，一个人，有一亩地已经不错了。一年种两次，一次小麦，一次玉米，一年能挣个800块，再加上养一群鸭子，卖点鸭蛋，估计最多也就能挣1000块。想要在北京那郊区买套像样的房子，我得不吃不喝地耕种1000年。

如果没有提前的信息暗示，我几乎以为这是篇高分作文：作者虽为高中生，可他没有两耳不闻窗外事的埋头苦读，关注时事，关注社会生活，难能可贵；虽然整篇文章大多语句平易，却也有神来之笔，如"舌头半天没缩回去"一句就形象的写出了作者面对房价飞涨吃惊的反应，远比那个用的烂俗的成语"瞠目结舌"有表现力；文章说真话，诉真情，描绘了农民、下岗工人、女(作者用的假设)等在高房价面前的众生相，巧妙的从另一个方面写出了高房价对民生的掠夺，中心突出，结构完整，高考作文《丢分不丢人的高考零分作文》。

可是为什么这作文竟得了零分呢?曾经当过学生写过作文的我忽然有了答案：这文章思想不够"健康"，不"积极向上"。在这个尺度下，学生们的作文内容是必须经过过滤的：触及现实中阴暗的东西尽量不要写，万不得已写了也不能"妄加"评论--这是我们的学生写作文的一个明规则。

回想起我读小学的时候，老师以一个学长的作文为例给我们做过类似的提示。那学长写的是一篇关于乞丐的作文，文中流露出了对乞丐的同情，校长读了此文后，就找学长反复谈话，"挖掘"出了他的思想根源才罢休：意图写乞丐来给社会抹黑。后居委会还介入此事，调查他苗正根红后才只是"教育"了事--如果他成分是地主的话，他的作文就有和社会唱反调、给"复辟"唱赞歌之嫌了。

我们那时的作文的首要要求是思想健康，现在学生的作文要求是励志向上，其实二者本质上并没有多大区别。以此为标准，这篇高考作文因为太"现实"，调子太低，不但不能"励志"，而且很"颓废"，所以得零分了。

怎能怪我们写现实生活中"阴暗面"的学生，而不问责制造阴暗的人呢?他们总不能把自己的一只眼捂上，不去看"阴暗面"吧。如果把他们所看到的社会问题比作一个脓疮的话，非要让他们对此唱出"艳如桃花，美如乳酪"的赞歌来，是不是太残酷了呢?

就这篇高考零分作文来说，"毛病"无非就是违犯了学生作文的不合理明规则，可就是这"毛病"，显示了作者的过同龄人之处：他没有因为分数，而失去说真话的勇气(代价大了些)；他的真话表现出了一个"准公民"对社会问题的忧虑和责任感。他的作文虽然不是一篇好的应景作文，却是一篇很有现实意义的好文章--正如我们现在赏析的古人的好文章一样，有哪一篇是古人在科举考场上写出来的呢?

Pollution: a Social Problem-污染 —— 一个社会问题

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to us because.it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.
