On the one hand, promoting enthusiasm for sports among teenagers helps them

keep a healthy lifestyle. In the school, students are forced to take exercise in

the PE class, they need to join certain activities. In this way, students live

in a healthy lifestyle, they won’t get sick easily. But after they leaving

school, no one forces them to do so, so they are lazy to take exercise, their

bodies gets weaker.

On the other hand, the enthusiasm for sports can help students enhance

their sense of teamwork. As we known, most sports need more than one person to

do, like badminton and table tennis, these sports needs more than two people.

今年的国庆节我们一家去了很多地方：有听起来很恐怖的丰都鬼城、有革命圣地华蓥山、还有拥有悠久历史的阆中古镇。可是我要写什么呢?——不如就写上华蓥山吧!

华蓥山座落于四川广安市，上山的路婉延曲折、从山脚到山顶要翻过很多座山，从车窗往外看去：道路两旁有参天大树和无数五彩缤纷的小花，妈妈在车上高兴得手舞足蹈：“哇!哇!好多漂亮的花朵呀!”

上到山顶，我突然觉得很冷，我问爸爸这是为什么?爸爸说：“我们现在在山顶，这里的温度比山脚最少要低五六度呢!”我说：“那夏天是不是很凉快呀?”妈妈说：“对呀，这里夏天最适合避暑了。”

放眼望去，大雾环绕着整片山脉，周围的景物一片朦胧，就像童话中的仙境。

我们赶紧买了门票进去参观，首先进的是蜡像馆，蜡像馆里有很多名人的蜡像，有中国历的十大元帅、还看到了我们刚刚学过的那篇课文的主人公——宋庆龄、还有雷锋叔叔正坐在椅子上补袜子呢……在负一层我还看到有游击战争时的场景还原呢!看到双枪老太婆反击敌人，妈妈说：“没有这些革命前辈的流血牺牲，就没有我们现在的幸福生活……”

进山以后印入眼帘的全是石林，各种各样奇形怪状的石头林立在大山里面，有玉兔变相、同心石、大象石……给我印象最深的就是生命石，一棵大树被石头包围着，但仍然长得枝繁叶茂，就像我们的人生一样，虽然后经历波折，但我们一定不能放弃。

我、妈妈、爸爸比赛谁走得最快，我和妈妈一起走，爸爸一个人走，婆婆当裁判，我和妈妈爬上去走下来，好不容易才到终点，却看见爸爸已经在等我们了。爸爸笑着说：“你们终于来了!”我问：“爸爸，你怎么这么快呀?”“我发现了一条你们不知道的小路，哈哈哈——!”爸爸边说边笑，唉，我和妈妈就怎么不知道还有条小路呢，老爸可真狡猾。

我们一路走，一路说笑，直到天黑了，才走出山脚，虽然一路得很累，但还是很开心。

The person I admire is my teacher. She is an English teacher. She is very popular among the students because she spends lots of time on her lessons and has a good sense of humor. Like any other English learner, I met a lot of difficulties in learning English.

First, I found it difficult to understand what I read because most English words have more than one meaning. Besides, I found it difficult to write in idiomatic English or put Chinese into idiomatic English. Finally, I couldnt express in English orally because I had no opportunity to communicate with native English speakers. Although I often read aloud, this didnt prove to be an effective way to improve my spoken English.

But I didnt lose heart in removing these obstacles. I tackled English vocabulary in two ways. First,I tried to understand and memorize the specific meaning of a word that appears in the context. Second, I enlarge my vocabulary by learning the dictionary by heart. To overcome Chinese English, I tried to think in English directly. Although I still had no opportunity to communicate with native speakers, I improved spoken English by listening to the English broadcast and writing English composition. This expedient turned out to be effective.
