近日，支付宝平台推出了一款“扶老人险”的保险产品。“扶老人险”保费仅为3元，保期一年，投保人投保后，如不幸发生“好心扶起受伤老人反而被讹”的意外事件，最高可获得2万元的法律诉讼费用赔偿，且全年提供法律咨询。该产品在线上发售10天已售出8.5万份，其中超90%的购买人为80后和90后，广东、浙江、江苏三省销量最高。

该保险推出后，引发的争议不断。有人认为，这是用商业模式破解道德痛点的“创新”，2万元的保险能让人们有扶起老人的“底气”和“勇气”。也有人认为，这是一种带有炒作性质的营销，让人根本上去忽视了道德。人民日报记者对老人采访时，问到扶老人险，让老人非常气愤，感觉“被打了一耳光”。
