After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

Today was realiy boring.I went nowhere,I just stayed at home because the

大家都知道，夏天最烦人的就是知了的叫声了，尤其是在山村里，在大热天里，几乎每分每秒都有这烦人的噪音，无处不在．

而我就更惨了，我家院子旁不到一米处，就有一棵大梧桐树，每天早上一到８到９点就开始唧唧喳喳的唱起歌来了，直到晚上10到11点，早上很好的学习时间都被它们搅和了．

有一天，一只雄知了竟然闯进了我家，开始我们并不知道，但是它一叫就使我们有了大反应．于是全家都来找这只知了，找了很长时间才发现它竟躲在冰箱后面，爸爸就把它给抓出来，扔到外面．出人意料的是它又飞回来了，没办法，只能又把它抓出去，因为它的叫声实在让人烦，害的我们浪费了这么多时间．

现在大家应该知道知了的叫声该多烦了吧！

To tell you the truth, I dont like the Spring Festival at all. When I was

young I liked it very much,because I could had something tasty to eat during the

Spring Festival,and I could enjoy very wonderful TV programmes,too. I also could

had much free time during which I could did something I liked to do. I dont

like it now, there are many reasons.

Firstly, I cant have a good time during the Festival. Every New Years Eve

something unpleasant often happens. Once I quarreled with my second brother.

Secondly, I cant relax myself during the Festival. I have to do many

things, watch so many TV programmes, meet so many people,all these things make

me very tired.

Thirdly, spending one Spring Festival means that I become one year older. I

dont like to be old. I want to live longer and be young all the time.
