贴门神这是几乎家家户户过年都要做的，关于贴门神还有一段有趣的神话传说：相传在古时候，有位龙王总想偷吃玉帝的贡品，玉帝发现后狠狠地惩罚了它，可龙王依然屡教不改，于是，玉帝让两位身强力壮的天神看守大门，不让龙王再来捣乱。可是两位天神和我们一样要睡觉休息。于是玉帝想了一个好办法，把两位天神的画像贴在门上，从此贴门神的习俗就这样代代流传。

在我国的北方有一种习俗，就是吃饺子，饺子的谐音即“交子”，表达了人们对更岁交子，对新的一年吉祥富裕的一种渴望。而南方人则喜欢在大年的早晨吃汤圆，意味着我们在新的一年里圆圆满满，团团圆圆。人们还喜欢把一种叫“荠菜”的蔬菜和汤圆一块吃，“荠菜”有被称作“聚财”意喻在新的一年招财进宝，心想事成。

春节里，我们更少不了要放鞭炮来活跃一下春节时欢欢喜喜的气氛了。放鞭炮在民间还有一个传说：相传在远古的时侯，有一只叫“年”的怪兽，每到春节的时候就出来吓唬人，于是人们就想了个办法，用竹筒点燃扔向它，竹筒爆炸后发出很大的声响，吓走了年兽，放鞭炮的习俗就这样流传下来了。

可如今，人们的生活水平不断提高了，我再也找不到我心中最美的家乡了。现在，它是让我感到那么的陌生。家乡现已铺上了水泥道，本来这是件好事，但公路两旁却堆起了一座座小山似的垃圾堆。“森林公园”不见了，代替它的是一座座工厂，工厂里排放出来的“三废”，即废水、废气、废渣，严重的影响到村里的环境。废水流到小河里，转眼间，小河的水变成五颜六色了，里面的鱼大多都死了，浮到河面上，微风吹过，不时发出一阵阵使人感到恶心的气味。废气传到空气中，空气受到了严重的污染，人们再也呼吸不到清新的空气了。废渣堆放到地上，使土壤严重地遭到破坏，如果用这些土壤去种植庄稼，那些庄稼必定很难成活……我常常望着眼前的家乡问自己：“这就是我的家乡吗?它为什么会变成这个样子?我儿时的‘森林公园’，儿时的‘玉带’，它们到哪儿去了?”

Also,there are some people who don`t pay attention to hygiene and they can`t stop littering the rubbish casually or spitting everywhere all the time.And in addition, there are a few factories often cutting down the trees, discharging chemicals and dirty water and so on.And it causes many problems like the Greenhouse Effect.If they do these day by day and our life will be harder and harder,so we have to stop them. it’s very kind of you to write me and let me know about your beautiful city. now i’d like to tell you something about my hometown quanzhou.

the city stands on the west bank of the taiwan straight. it is a beautiful place for people to live in. its economy has been developing rapidly in the past ten years. new factories, houses, roads and bridges have been built. more schools and hospitals are available for its people. however, there are still some problems, such as water, air and noise pollution and heavy traffic in rush hours. in my opinion, quanzhou should develop its economy scientifically. i would also think that the growth of its housing construction should be brought under control so that we’ll have a better hometown in future.
