Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

今天，是我国的传统节日，新春佳节。

今天，我非常高兴，不仅看春晚，会有好吃的，好玩的，而且会有新衣穿，更重要的是会有很多压岁钱!

早饭过后，我迫不及待的穿上了新衣服和爸爸妈妈出发了。

到了姥姥家，我对姥爷说：“过年好，恭喜发财，红包拿来。”姥爷笑嘻嘻的给了我个红包。在姥爷家里有许多各种各样的炮，我和哥哥、姐姐、弟弟、妹妹玩起了响炮，就在玩的过程中，弟弟不小心把火药弄到了眼睛里，我们急忙跑过去帮忙擦拭眼睛，大家松了口气幸好没事。午饭开始了，哇，这么丰盛啊，看的我直流口水，恨不得一口全部吃掉。

吃过午饭我们便赶往奶奶家。到了爷爷家一进门同样问爷爷奶奶过年好，恭喜发财，红包拿来同样又一个红包。我的心里美滋滋的。在爷爷家妈妈帮奶奶做事，当然了我也不列外，和爸爸一起贴春联、挂灯笼，都忙的不亦乐乎。不知不觉晚饭开始了，吃的是饺子，我吃了好多而且还吃出了个硬币，奶奶说：“孙女，你有福气。”妈妈说：“闺女，2014年你又会有长进啦。

晚饭过后，放烟火开始了，炮声阵阵，震耳欲聋我不由的捂住了耳朵，礼花弹放出去飘落在空中五彩缤纷美极了!

今天，我非常开心又很疑惑，疑惑的就是，妈妈说在2014年我又会有长进，这是真的吗?

The holiday I like most is to visit Guilin with my parents .Because Guilin is one of the most attractive tourism places in China.Guilin is famous for Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill.They are the symbols of Guilin.People can enjoy the landscape on the bamboo raft and meanwhile talk to the Guilinese.People can learn a lot about the Ethnic Minorities culture there.There are also many delicious local food Guilin,such as Guilin rice noodles,Flowerbridge chilli paste.I really want to try them by my own month with my parents again .I cant wait to go there .I will go there when I have next holiday.

又到了一年一度的中秋佳节。中秋节也叫团圆节，是亲人们相聚团圆的节日。一大早，爸爸妈妈带着我和姐姐来到爷爷家。今天姑妈掌勺，做了一桌子丰盛可口的饭菜，我们大家可以一饱口福啦。

吃完饭，我和弟弟高兴的玩着各种拼装玩具。我们把所有的拼装玩具玩儿了一个遍，都觉得没有意思了。弟弟拿过羽毛球拍，对我说：“老哥，咱们出去打羽毛球吧。”“谁怕谁呀，打就打。”我马上应战。

我们来到院子里，开始了羽毛球决战。我打羽毛球的水平可不是”盖”的，谁知弟弟这段时间在姑父的训练下，也成了羽毛球的“高手”。我拿起羽毛球和球拍，走到“球场”的一边。一只脚在前，一只脚在后，昂头挺胸就像一位打了胜仗的将军。随着妈妈的一声令下，一场羽毛球大战开始了。

第一局，我先发球。我把球轻轻的抛起来，握紧球拍用力一挥。“啪”的一声，羽毛球就像子弹似的飞了出去。眼看着羽毛球就要落到地上了，我不禁哈哈大笑，想着这个球肯定赢了。谁知道弟弟快速的俯身拿球拍轻轻的一挑，羽毛球居然“起死回生”猛的朝我飞过来。正在得意洋洋的我，一下子手忙脚乱，不但没有接住球，还摔了个四脚朝天。弟弟兴奋的手舞足蹈，在地上蹦来跳去。我憋足了劲，心中暗想：还真是小看弟弟了。比赛继续，结果一局下来，我还是以两分之差输给了弟弟。骄傲的我惭愧地低下了头。

第二局比赛，我不再大意。一直默默地告诉自己：要有耐心，要想办法，要抓住时机。我一会儿把球打到左边，一会儿打到右边，一会儿打远，一会儿打近。弟弟被我打得气喘吁吁，手忙脚乱，我也顺理成章的取得了胜利。看到我得意洋洋的样子，弟弟不服气的说：“我不服，等我再好好练几天，下次再打，我一定也要把你打趴下。”

哈哈!想想从小到大，我和弟弟虽然是有福同享，有难同当的好伙伴，但在生活中和学习上，我们也是互相不服输的，这样的明争暗斗不仅没有影响到我们的友谊，反而让我们更加亲密，更加进步。有老弟的陪伴，真好!

everything with money。” For some people， money is everything。 They think they

can buy everything they want， including time。 Do you think so? No。 I don’t think

off today’s work till tomorrow。

In fact， time is more important than money and time never stops for anyone

在这个愉快的暑假里，我又读了另一本有趣的书，这本书的名字叫《淘气包日记》，是意大利的万巴写的，这本书是为孩子们写的，也是为各位家长们写的。

本书记录了九岁顽童加尼诺在快半年的时间里，因为淘气而制造的各种“祸端”：他将邻居家的孩子打扮成了一只猴子挂在树上，成为他“动物园”里的一只动物;他在表演魔术时，差点儿将他姐夫的眼睛用玩具枪射瞎;他把烟火藏进壁炉里，不想却引发了一场“爆炸”;和他的同学贝鲁乔打了一个赌，没想到却发生了一场车祸。

大人们也应该懂得，不要把错误都以为是小孩子干的，当孩子做的坏事对家长有利时，就会宽容对待，可要是好心做了坏事，家长就会把所有的过错都归于我，甚至不会有一丝怜悯之情。这本书是我回忆起了小时候我调皮捣蛋的那些经历，从这本书中，我看到了一个天真、调皮、可爱、捣蛋的一个孩子。

从中我懂得了，家长必须走出教育的误区，反思自己的所作所为，对下一代教育要及时，尽心尽力，方法得当，这样才能获得事半功倍的效果。

老师像春雨，滋润着我们;老师像园丁，用知识浇灌我们、培育我们;老师像妈妈，千言万语呵护着我们。老师的爱是不变的，是伟大的。

我的班主任季老师，个子高高的、不胖不瘦、有一头乌黑亮丽的头发，脸上戴着一副眼镜，眼镜后面是一双亮晶晶的眼睛，有时很严厉，有时又很温柔。

季老师一直像妈妈一样爱护着我们、关心着我们。我印象最深刻的，就是一年级的时候我右手腕摔骨折了，打着石膏在家里养伤。那个时候，我心里很着急，怕落下许多功课和作业变成累赘，还担心错过了老师讲的知识重点，在考试的重要关头掉链子。我跟妈妈说我想去学校上课，想把落下的作业补上，但妈妈不同意，怕别人撞到我造成二次伤害，还说我是右手骨折，写不了字，我只好听妈妈的话乖乖待在家里，看书打发时间。一个月过去了，眼看就要期终考试了，妈妈这才送我去上学。

我全副武装、小心翼翼地到了教室，同学们一见到我，就像见到了久别重逢的老朋友一样一涌而上，问这问那，有好奇的、胆大的同学就敲敲打在我手臂上的石膏，嘴里念叨着：“好粗糙啊!”后来，要不是季教师来了，我可能会被他们绕晕了。因为很久没上课了，老师说的我完全听不懂，最可怕的是，我这个人胆小害羞，有不会的也不敢主动问老师，季老师见我一声不吭，就把我叫到讲台上去，一对一指导我，教我生字词的笔顺，教我课文的理解，没过几天，我基本就把这些知识全掌握了。你瞧，季老师多重视我们的学习。

还有一次，上完游泳课我浑身不舒服，直发抖，季老师见我不对劲，走过来摸了摸我的额头，担心地说：“发低烧了。”吃完午饭，季老师让我先回教室休息，不时地过来摸摸我的额头，问我好些没有。后来，烧的高起来了，季老师怕我是病毒感染，赶紧通知妈妈来接我去医院。生病在家休息期间，季老师也不忘发消息给妈妈，嘱咐让我好好休息。

季老师像妈妈一样照顾我们，爱我们，我们真幸福，有两位好妈妈!

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is， time always goes on.

It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time.

Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high

reputation， time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time.

Although I have more than a-month holiday， but I found I had a lot of things to

do. I had a lot of homework to do and I am essential to plete the homework as

soon as I have time.

Today and friends of foreign travel, outside air is very good, people feel

It was the second day of our summer holiday. I felt good. I felt I am free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Zhongshan. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. our campus.It is seven storeys high.With its bright,spacious reading rooms and

to go.The next largest building is the Chemistry Department.The rooms in it are

filled with various apparatus.The buildings that the students and teachers live

in are the apartment houses.

Before long,new buildings will be added to our campus and some old ones
