皮影博物馆是一幢青砖红瓦的小楼。博物馆的大门口写着前言，密密麻麻的文字向我们讲述了被誉为国家级非物质文化遗产的皮影的历史。由于事先做过功课，我早就知道：皮影一般用牛皮、羊皮或驴皮等制成，被称为最早的电影;皮影分为陕西皮影、甘肃皮影、唐山皮影、河北皮影、东北皮影、山西皮影更令人惊讶的是，连“老外”也爱上了皮影，至今有数十个国家有了皮影剧团、皮影研究院和皮影博物馆等机构，甚至还组成了皮影俱乐部呢!这座国内最大的皮影博物馆里有45000多件珍贵的老皮影，可供上百个皮影剧团同时演出。

我们先在一楼参观了一些皮影作品，如《三国演义》、《水浒传》、《红楼梦》等，它们的做法、特点和种类，讲解员阿姨都说得清清楚楚。我们一边认真地听，一边“咔嚓”、“咔嚓”地按快门，将这些难得一见的民间艺术品都统统拍下来，回去慢慢欣赏。

这次秋游，我们既得到了欢乐，又学到了知识，真是有意义的一课!

Be Grateful to Our Parents

Since we were born， many people help us a lot. We should be grateful to their kindness. But the ones we should show our greatest appreciation are our parents. From the first day we appear in their lives， they give us all their love and care， but never expect anything in return. As long as they are there， we do not feel any difficulties， because they are always in front of our shelter， preventing us from difficulties and danger. In order to make our lives better， learn better， they do everything they can to create the best conditions for us， but ignore their own needs. I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong

University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I

am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

Education background

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology

(NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During

the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among

the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I

got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission

test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5%

in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is

given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer

Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the

ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university.

Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of

Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to

narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and

Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It

is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled

a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This

was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and

experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research

interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research

(especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid

system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.

你看，在公共汽车上许多人为老弱病残孕让座，上车的时候主动购票;有些年轻人把吃的瓜子皮放在一个小方便袋里，吃完的时候把它扔进垃圾箱;许多司机师傅不闯红灯，不超速，不酒后驾车……

其实，文明就在我们身边。瞧，一位母亲骑着自行车带着年幼的女儿走在马路上，孩子一不小心，手中的饼干掉在地上。母亲马上停下车，轻声对女儿说：“来，咱们把它扔到垃圾箱中去。”说着，把孩子抱下来，两人一起弯腰去捡地上的饼干。

我有一个温暖的家，一共有九口人，分别是：我、爸爸、妈妈、爷爷、奶奶、妹妹、姑姑和姑父。

后来，我扫到一处沙发边，看到那里的垃圾比别的地方的要多。我拿起扫帚就向它们大举进攻。有一些垃圾还顽固不化，躲在-里面就是不愿意出来，我就放下扫帚，伸出手去，把它们全部抓了出来，有一些垃圾躺在地上就是不愿意动身，我用手把它们给拎起来扔到垃圾上面，这一些垃圾还是逃不出我的五指将军，全部被我揪了出来，暴打了一顿。

随后，我又向其他的几个角落发起了-后的攻击。这一些角落里的垃圾都在我的进攻面前投降了。我就把它们全部扫到大厅。然后，我就向大厅的垃圾发起了-后的攻击，开始了一场规模巨大的战斗。-后，它们都被我给-了，向我表示了投降。

room.

In the garden uncle is sweeping the path, aunt is helping him sweep.

Grandpa and dad are mending the fence. Dad is digging, sister is washing her

dog.

My Sunday is very busy.

老奶奶的笑容和小悦悦倒在血泊中的身躯，强烈地冲击着我的心灵。我的思绪纠缠在一起。心灵到底是怎样的，社会又是怎样的，而我，又该做些什么呢?

自己的行为阵阵强烈的自责感涌上心头。纵然那18个路人对生命的漠视是冷酷的，但是我又何尝不是忽略了许多应该珍视的东西。对待父母，养育了我十几年的亲人，我的出言不逊不知道伤了他们几次。得有一回在愤怒之下脱口而出的“我的事不用你管!”让母亲的眼神变得黯淡，然后沉默的离开了我的房间。那时母亲眼角散落的悲伤，一直印刻在我的脑海中。

在不知不觉的思考中，车子已经到了家门口，我匆匆拿起包跑下了公交车。就在我一步步离站时，忽然看见了一个身影朝我跑来。我停下了脚步，发现是一个年轻的叔叔。他将一张到我面前说：“你的公交卡掉了。”我诧异地接过他手中的卡“不可能吧，他竟然把卡还给我了没有私自留下”，喃喃地说了声“谢谢”。知道这位叔叔跑回车上，我才如梦初醒。刚刚发生的事，就像一束阳光照进我心中，冲散了一切沉重，让我豁然开朗。

这个社会不是缺少好人，有阳光的地方就会有黑暗。人们的心灵就像树林一样，即使有树叶的遮挡，阳光一样能透过林荫，带来光明。

在教过我的老师中，有许多给我留下了深刻的印象，其中，印象最深的是四年级语文老师宗老师。宗老师身材偏胖，脸上嵌着一双黑葡萄般的眼睛炯炯有神。他喜欢穿一件黑色T恤衫，走起路来慢悠悠的。

宗老师十分幽默。

有一次，为了赶时间，我把作业上的字写得十分潦草，宗老师看了，幽默地说：“哇，这么多残疾人!”我听了，一头雾水，又纳闷，又好奇，心想：哪有什么“残疾人”呢?宗老师好像知道我的心思一样，指着我作业本上的字对我说：“你看看你写的字不就是一个个残疾人吗?这个人缺了一条腿，这个人手一个长，一个短，都不对称了。”我听了，脸红了，却也被宗老师的幽默给逗乐了。随后宗老师又语重心长地说了一句话：“做任何事情，都不能只追求速度，而不追求质量，如果你每件事都只求速度，不求质量的话，怎么能做得好事情呢?心急是吃不了热豆腐的。”我听到后，惭愧地低下了头，从此以后，每当我拿起笔时，就想起了宗老师的话，再也不好意思马虎了。

宗老师，您的教诲之恩我会永远铭记在心，您的幽默也永远鼓励着我。
