我们生活在一个信息世界里。在教室里学习，听广播，看电视，读书看报，上网浏览，与亲戚，朋友通信，都是在获取信息。现代社会信息量越来越多，传递信息的速度也越来越快，人们获取信息的途径也越来越广。我家的信息工具有：收音机，电话，电视，电脑。现在爸爸妈妈都各自有一不手机，与朋友，家人联络也方便了很多。现代科技给我们的生活带来了不少变化。

我们家原来只能通过写信和远方的朋友联系，实在不方便。现在我们家安装上了电脑有了宽带网，一切都边的方便起来。有一次老师留了一项作业，让我们找一些关于名人的事迹。如果是原来，还要翻报纸，查书，一查就是一两个小时。而现在只要打开电脑，上了网，输入你想要得查的资料，过几秒钟资料便会出现在屏幕上。大大提高了我做作也的效率。

现在，我家装上了电脑，与远在日本的哥哥联系也方便了。只要坐在电脑前，轻点鼠标，上了宽带网，进入QQ视频聊天室，我和哥哥便可以面对面交谈了。记得有一次，哥哥把日本樱花盛开的录像传送给我，我看到樱花，就好像闻到它散发出的淡淡清香，就好像我也在那樱花盛开的海洋里一样。我虽然没去过日本，但在我和哥哥的交谈和传送图片中，使我了解了很多关于日本的事情，这就是网络带给我的乐趣。

未来的社会是一个信息话的社会，我们坐在家里也可以获取来自世界各地的最新信息。那真可谓是“秀才不出门，尽知天下事”

今年的夏天与往年相比截然不同，今年的夏天要比往年热得多，

听妈妈说，她小时候的年代，一点儿也不觉得夏天热。可现在呢？太阳像个大火球似的，无情地烘烤着大地。这几个月，雨下得不多，特别是6月份和7月份，天气非常热。许多江河湖泊都快干枯了。

早上，太阳6点多就出来了。人们起来第一感觉就是热。到了8、9点左右，太阳光就更强了。每个人走路都眯着眼睛。不少人还打着太阳伞，戴着墨镜。鸟儿们都懒得飞了，全部躲在树叶下纳凉。而知了，叫得更欢了。这大热天，人们都很少出门，都在家里吹风扇、空调。狗儿们蹲在阴凉地方，舌头伸得老长老长，还呼哧呼哧地喘气呢。

到了中午，那时候就更热了。毒花花的太阳晒在人们身上，火辣辣的，很不舒服，偶尔一阵风吹来，也是热风。而此时，农民伯伯们正在田里工作。汗水浸湿了他们的头发、衣服，他们多么希望有一阵凉爽的风吹来啊！

下午，太阳没有中午那么热了。路边的小草无精打采地耷拉着“脑袋”。花草树木渐渐地枯萎了，凋谢了。天气又变化无常，一会儿艳阳高照，一会儿又晴转多云，真让人琢磨不透。为什么天气会这么炎热呢？原来是人们破坏环境导致臭氧层被破坏造成的。看来，我们要好好保护环境，保护臭氧层了。

太阳当空照，天空一片光亮，万里无云。

往常喧闹的大街上看不到一个行人，偶尔有一辆汽车飞驶而过，整个路面好像要冒烟似的。只见对面大楼外墙上十几部空调的风叶拼命地转动着。

楼下操场上空无一人，篮球架孤伶伶的站在那儿。

楼顶的水泥地裂开了，我试图打赤脚走，可一碰到地坂，双脚就不由自主地跳了起来，整个地板好像被火烤过。

正在做饭的外公，汗下如雨，好像刚从河里爬上来似的。我家的小狗热得伸出红红的长舌头“哈哈”地直喘气，死活也不到太阳光照到的地方去，四肢紧紧地趴在地板上，躲在开了冷气的房间里。

树叶一动不动，整棵树像个打败仗的将军，垂头丧气地站在那儿，地上的草都枯黄了，静静的四周，只听见树上的知了不停地“知知”叫，好像在说：“热死了，热死了……”

圣诞节

Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival, in order to memorialize Jesus.During that time, they always have several days off, so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts.The children often get together with their friends.The adults are busy with decorating their houses.They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the streets, there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by.And everything is on a discount in the supermarkets.Thus the supermarkets are the busiest places.

为了纪念耶稣大部分西方人都庆祝圣诞节作为他们的主要节日。在这段时间里，他们总是有好几天假，所以他们可以全身心的享受这个节日。小孩们经常与他们的朋友聚在一起。大人都忙着装饰他们的房子。他们还互相赠送明信片以及他们对彼此的祝福。 在街上，有很多圣诞老人在派送礼物给路人。超市里面的所有东西都在打折。所以，超市是最忙的地方。
