大街上、小巷里不时传来阵阵炮竹声，为节日增添了喜气。我在外面与小朋友玩了一下午，肚子提出抗议要吃年夜饭，这时我才想起马上回家。在家门口，我和爸爸贴好对联，放了一挂鞭炮，丰盛的年夜饭就要开始喽！妈妈摆好一桌丰盛的晚宴，性急的我拿起筷子刚要夹，奶奶说：“等等，我们来猜一猜，看谁能用四个字说出菜名。”我抢先答道：“这个叫年年有余（鱼），那个是勤勤（芹）快快、红红火火、一帆风顺……”一下说出了好几个成语，奶奶满意的直夸我。碰杯祝福之后，我们开始品尝一道道美味。

春节的菜肴都有一句吉祥的成语，象征着一年的收获、祝福与期盼，真是太有趣了。我禁不住感叹我们国家传统文化的丰富多样。

炎热的夏天到了!不信,你瞧:

太阳哥哥发怒了,把他全部的光和热洒向大地，地面散发出滚滚热浪，似乎把大地的一切都要融化。小草有气无力地垂着头，花儿也失去了往日的活力，有的弯着腰，有的奄奄一息……只有太阳花还昂首挺胸，迎着太阳微笑。

最受青睐的要数冷饮品了，看，冰淇淋店里排起了长长的队伍，像一条长龙，没买到冷饮的就暴躁地摔东西。我刚买来的冰淇淋不断地冒着白雾，没吃上几口就被顽皮的太阳抢去了。妈妈刚拿出的一大盘冰冻西瓜全家人就一拥而上，不到五秒钟就一抢而光，一分钟后，只剩下西瓜皮和西瓜籽了。

游泳池里人山人海，一跳进游泳池里，一股清凉让身心感到舒服极了。

一到节假日，人们纷纷挤到了避暑山庄。

男孩子都穿着背心、短裤，女孩子穿着五颜六色各式各样的裙子。凉鞋也争先恐后的从鞋柜里跑出来。太阳伞、太阳帽、墨镜、风扇、空调、防晒霜…都闪亮登场了。

小狗热得直吐舌头，不断地喘气;知了不停地说：“好热好热”，说得喉咙都快哑了;鸡群们也不断地耷拉着翅膀!

你看，难道这不是炎热的夏天吗?
