今年的夏天是炎热的，火辣辣的太阳照在大地上，像蒸笼似的。路上的行人们打着伞，可是，皮肤还是被晒得黑黑的。退休的爷爷奶奶也躲在空调房里，不敢出门，生怕中暑了。就连我们放暑假的孩子们也不敢到广场上玩耍了，假如你要是拖着赤脚，定被滚烫滚烫的大地烫的嗷嗷叫。小区里的花花草草也被晒得无精打采的呆拉着脑袋，你听，树上的蝉儿也在嘟嘟嚷嚷的叫个不停，“热死了，热死了。”今年的夏天可真热啊!

小区门口卖瓜的瓜农，一边扇着扇子，一边吆喝着，“香甜可口的西瓜，便宜了，大家走过路过，可千万不要错过啊”他这样吆喝着，显得更热了，早已被汗水侵透了的衣服紧紧地贴在他的身上。路上的行人好像都被他打动似的，纷纷过来买他的西瓜，不一会儿，一车的西瓜所剩无几了，我和妈妈也走上去，买了两个回去。到家我就迫不及待的去厨房拿刀来切西瓜，可是，刀刚挨着瓜，只听“砰”的一声，瓜就四分五裂了，原来瓜早就被晒得熟过头了。看来，瓜农要倒霉了。如果不及时卖，肯定会烂在地里。

今年的夏天真是炎热的，你看正在盖房子的建筑工人，头戴安全帽，光着膀子，皮肤被晒得光溜溜，黑黑的，似乎在冒着油，他们说话的时候，似乎喉咙里在冒着烟。

还有，平时热闹的街市上几乎没有几个人，广场上也空荡荡，公园里的座椅上也没有人坐着休息，孤单的摆在那儿。
