“可能是东海龙王作怪，他不欢迎我们在他的海上大显神通，把蓝采和抓到龙宫去了，走 我们一起到龙宫要人去！”

大家来到龙宫，婉言请求龙王放人。龙王蛮不讲理，不但不肯，还派自己的几个儿子带领虾兵蟹将追杀八仙。八仙只得用随身的法宝当武器，抵抗虾兵蟹将，经过一场激烈的战斗之后，龙王的两个太子被八仙杀死了。

龙王一听，自己的两个儿子被八仙杀了，真是悲愤至极，商请南海、西海、北海龙王来帮忙。龙王的不依不饶，把八仙也给惹火了。铁拐李用酒葫芦把海水吸光，其余几位仙人将泰山搬了过来，往东海一扔，东海立刻变成了一座高 。

双方打得天昏地暗，日月无光，把太上老君、如来佛和观世音也惊动了，他们全都赶来调解。调解的结果是，由蓝采和送东海龙王两片玉版，作为杀两位太子的补偿泰山则由观世音负责搬回原处。

因为这一场纠纷，八仙被玉皇大帝降级一等。从此，八仙再也不敢到外面惹是生非了。

一天下午，我和我们小区的小朋友在做游戏时。他的爸爸妈妈喊他到虎山去游泳，他就高兴的和爸爸妈妈去了。我心特别的羡慕，心想如果我的爸爸妈妈也能带我去游泳就好了。

我回到家中和爸爸妈妈商量了起来，爸爸妈妈想了一会，决定带着我去游泳了。

爸爸一路上开着车，我和妈妈看着一路上的风景。妈妈说：“天气好热呀，庄稼都快旱死了，好可惜呀。”爸爸说：“就是，今年庄稼又要涨价了。”车路过虎山大坝时，爸爸告诉我这是蓄水用的，是为了保证缺水时周边的人用水的。

一会就到了我们游泳的地方。我们就换了衣服、带上游泳圈到水里面游泳。到了水里面，我感觉到好凉快呀。我们就这样痛痛快快的玩了起来。

在这个炎热暑假里，爸爸、妈妈带着我到虎山水库游了好几次泳。让我学到了好多的知识。

太阳炙烤着大地，似乎要把一切融化。我刚踏出家门，就满头大汗，我拿出毛巾准备擦，天哪!这分明就是汤婆子嘛!我凑合的擦完了汗，走出家门。

我摸了摸大地，哇，真烫!我继续往前走，走到了公园里，进去一看，植物的土被火辣辣的太阳晒干了，它们四分五裂得等待着用水。这时，我感到口渴难耐，我跑向小卖部，没跑几步，就气喘吁吁：“呼哧!呼哧!”终于跑到了小卖部，决定买瓶冰水喝，我拿着冰水跑到了树阴下，这、这水已经是热的了。只听知了在树上不停地叫：“受不了了!受不了了!”小狗把舌头伸得长长的，似乎在跟着知了叫：“是啊!是啊!”而太阳去毫不留情的散发着自己的本能。

啊，果然没报错，我恨不得马上钻进冰箱。

I made a decision today. Becuase I often lose my confidence, I decide tell

myself ‘go’ in front of mirror after getting up every day. I believe this will

一、Great changes in my hometown

More than twenty years ago, my hometown was just a small , old and poor town. Most of people were farmers. There were few factories. The people didn’t have enough food to eat and wore old clothes. They had a hard life .

Great changes have taken place in the past twenty years . The people have found a lot of ways of making money . Now there are many tall buildings . They are very beautiful . Roads are wide and clean . People can take buses or drive their own cars to go to work . Many people have cell phones and personal computers. People’s living conditions have improved a lot . Thanks to the government’s efforts . my hometown is becoming more and more beautiful .

太阳公公打了个哈欠下山了，月亮姐姐微笑着爬上了天空，在这安静祥和的夏夜，我坐在窗前，聆听那美妙的夏之音。

忽然，耳边传来一阵悦耳的虫鸣，我支起耳朵仔细凝听，原来是“纺织娘”家族开了一场热火朝天的演奏会。那声音好像小区河中那潺潺河水般独具一格，十分自然，又似一望无际的大草原上马儿的银铃那样富有节奏，动听。“纺织娘”的奏曲独树一帜，有一种随意的美，那声音时而独奏，时而合奏，喧闹而热烈，祥和而安宁，为我带来了愉悦的心情，真是：此曲只应天上有，人间能得几回闻。

“知了，知了”，此时，蝉也不甘示弱地放开了歌喉，声音由远到近，缓缓地从远处悠悠地传了过来。歌声有的似在溪间流淌，升腾跌宕，步步高昂;有的像在月光的伴舞下弥漫，成为高雅的齐奏曲;有的如在小区花园芳香中飘逸，清新明快，歌声时远时近，时高时低，适合奏时独奏，时高昂，时低落，飘荡在夏日的每个角落。

“呱呱呱”，青蛙们也身着嵌着黑色珍珠的绿色晚礼服出场了，我脑中想象着青蛙们可爱的样子，听着那悠扬的蛙声，此起彼伏，蜿蜒不断。这些浑身墨绿的乡土歌手，此刻都站在“舞台上”，伸着长舌，鼓着腹部，奏出一曲曲天籁之音，这嘹亮的歌声使人抒心，是一个个天然歌手美妙的音乐为夏夜增添了一份光彩。

“纺织娘”清脆悦耳的鸣叫，青蛙嘹亮而富有节奏的歌声，蝉儿步步高昂的齐奏曲，组成了一曲美妙的夏之音。此时我不禁想起了辛弃疾的“稻花香里说丰年，听取蛙声一片。明日别枝惊鹊，清风半夜鸣蝉。”我爱这天然的夏之音，爱这美丽的乡村生活。

夏天真热，太阳如同是一个巨大的火球，炙烤着大地。世间万物都被这万丈光芒照得垂头丧气，大树上的树叶都被晒蔫了；小狗在呼呼地伸着舌头，恨不得一口气把身上的热气全都散出去；河里的小鱼早已躲进深水之中乘凉去了；小草卷起了身子向太阳公公屈服了。只有知了依然大声地唱着歌，好像在助威似的，让人更觉得热不可耐。

大街上，人人都是全副武装：太阳伞、防晒衣、太阳镜，骑着电动车飞快地行驶着，好像一刻也不愿停留。而我却什么也没穿，只好在这烈日下行走着。怎奈何得了这般高温，我赶忙向家冲去，不一会，我的衣服都湿透了。进入了空调室，终于凉爽了。可在空调室里无聊得很，只好出去走走。内外真是天壤之别，热气就像热浪一样向我涌来，把我团团包围，让我喘不上气来。这时，我仿佛在太上老君的炼丹炉中一样。刚走出去一会，我已是满头大汗，汗流浃背，便到小店里买了根冰棍。可温度太高，冰棍没一会就全化了，我只好喝冰棍水了。说到这，我重重地叹了一口气：唉﹗我突然想到了一个好主意，去游泳馆游泳。

啊，游泳馆好多人，真是人挤人，人挨人，都是为了躲避这酷暑吧。我换上泳衣，迫不及待地跳了进去，真是太凉爽了。

我多么想得到马良的神笔呀﹗这样，我就能画出一阵阵凉爽的风，画出一朵朵云，画出一场场雷雨，让人们凉快一会。

I went out to have dinner with father today. I should make toast during the

dinner but there was no juice availabe. So I had a bottle of beer. My face

turned red but I was not drunk. I dont think beer tastes bad but I wont like

have it too much because I am only a student.

The Dragon Boat Festival， also called the Duanwu Festival， is celebrated on

the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. This

festival is to commemorate the death of QU Yuan， an upright and honest poet and

statesman who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a

river.

The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. It

symbolizes people‘s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period， these

races also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork.

Besides， the festival has also been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous

rice). Zongzi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and

wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zong

zi into the river to feed his ghost every year.

With the changes of the times， the memorial turns to be a time for

protection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthy

herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the

significance of the festival might be different with the past， it still gives

the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural

heritage.

端午节，又称为端午节，定在第五个月的第五天据中国日历。这个节日是为了纪念屈原的死，一个忠厚老实的诗人和政治家据说在河流溺水自杀。

One day the wind said to the sun, “Look at that man walking along the road.

I can get his cloak off more quickly than you can.”
