夏天到了，池塘里的荷花都开了。荷花有的白的像雪，有的粉的似霞，它们完全没有其它花儿的娇气，都争先恐后地开了。荷叶挨挨挤挤的，像一个个碧绿的大圆盘。荷花在这些大圆盘之间探出头来，有的才展开两三片花瓣儿，像害羞的小姑娘；有的花瓣儿全展开了，像小公主的漂亮裙子；有的还是花骨朵儿，看起来像刚刚孵化的小鸡，马上要破壳而出似的，真是千姿百态。一阵微风吹过，荷花便翩翩起舞，像一大幅活的画，美丽极了！最让人意外的是，在漂亮的荷花芯中，甘甜的莲子正悄悄地变得饱满，随时等着给采摘的人们一个大大的惊喜！

夏天是炎热的，也是美丽的，我喜欢夏天。
