birthday. I think she will like my present very much.

水是生命之源，我们生活中处处离不开水。早上起来洗漱需要水，妈妈做饭需要水，浇花需要水，冲马桶需要水。在炎热的夏天，我们最希望的是喝一瓶冰汽水，吃一盒美味的冰淇淋。我们根本不敢想象没有水的生活，如果没有水河里的鱼儿将会死。如果没有水地里的庄家将会枯萎，我们就没有粮食吃，人类将会饿死。如果没有水源，我们的祖国将会变成一望无际的沙漠。 中国的国土面积是世界第三大国，水资源也很丰富，但是中国有十三亿多人口，人均水资源就很少很少。我国水资源的分布严重不足，南多北少，沿海地区多内陆地区少，现在还有很多西北地区喝不上水，我们又有什么资格浪费水。 在日常生活中我看到许多浪费水的现象，有人用水把水龙头开到很大，有人用完水干脆不关水龙头。有人买了矿泉水只喝一点就扔掉，实在浪费。作为一名小学生，虽然我们的力量很小，俗话说：“人多力量大”，我相信只要大家一起努力，一定会节约很多水资源。 生活中很多细微之处都可以为节约水资源贡献力量，我的妈妈告诉我一些节约水的小窍门，例如把洗菜水浇花，把洗漱用的水收集起来先涮拖把再冲马桶。洗脸的时候在盆里洗或者是把水龙头关小洗，用完水把水龙头拧紧。

如果我们不珍惜水，世界上最后一滴水将会是我们的眼泪。我们作为一名小学生更要节约用水，要从小做起从身边的小事做起。我们共同努力，我们的祖国将会永远是绿色的家园。

[四年级作文：节约用水从身边做起

今天上午补习班放学铃声一响，同学们就像一只只飞出笼子的小鸟冲出教室。我也哼着歌儿走在回家的路上，一路上，我把小石子当做小足球踢，树上的小鸟也唧唧喳喳的叫着，好像在为我伴奏，我不一会儿就到了家。

我刚进家门，就听到洗手间的水在哗哗地留着，我定睛一看，哦！原来是“马小哈”弟弟洗完手又忘记关水龙头了。今天可不是第一次，他已经忘记N次了。我刚想走开，这次不帮他关了，等一下让爸爸好好教训他一顿。我刚想走开，忽然想起老师说过现在地球上还有许多地方的人长期缺水，他们因为没有水喝而渴死，所以要节约用水……想到这儿，我连忙跑过去，把水龙头的开关给关了。

我走过厨房的时候，又发现妈妈和奶奶正在择菜、淘米，此时妈妈把奶奶择的菜和米洗了一遍又一遍，最后准备把盆子里的洗米水和洗菜水倒掉，看到这一幕，我赶紧说：“妈妈，等一下，这些水不能白白浪费了，还有用呢！”“这还有什么用？”妈妈疑惑不解地看着我说。于是我端过水盆，拿它们去浇树、浇花。妈妈见了恍然大悟，和奶奶不约而同地夸我作“节水小标兵”。我听了心里像喝了蜜一样甜。
