水是生命之源，她就像一位慈母，怀中抱着世界，每一个生命都离不开她，都是她永久的孩子。

今天的天气真好，我早早就听到了清脆悦耳的鸟鸣声，还有窗外树叶间小小昆虫的窃窃私语。阳光像小小的精灵，在玻璃窗上跳跃，发出闪闪的光彩。我精神百倍地完成了早上的作业，就迫不及待地冲到厨房，一心只想着帮妈妈做些事。

一进厨房的门，我便听见哗哗的水声在流淌，只见发鬓有些斑白的妈妈弓着腰把手伸向盛着青菜的水盆子，正要洗菜。“妈妈，我来帮您洗菜好吗？”我边走进去边急切地问。妈妈笑了，笑得甜滋滋的，温柔地看着我说：“作业写完了吧？那好呀，过来洗吧！”我也冲妈妈喜滋滋地笑了笑，孩童般天真地站到水槽前，开始专心致志地行动起来。青翠色的香菜安详地躺在清亮亮的水中，好像要准备享受一番热水澡似的。我仔细地将我最喜爱的香菜洗过一遍，接着我把这一大把绿油油、新鲜亮丽的香菜从污水中捞出来，望着这盆漂着烂叶的水，静静思考了一下，把它端到一边没有倒掉。然后我又从容地端来一个新水盆，这才又拧开水龙头，水盛满了。

我正要把香菜放进新水盆里中再清洗一下，在一旁的妈妈却不解地问：“你为什么不把脏水倒掉呢？”“洗菜用过的水，还可以浇花呀，用处可大了，怎么可以倒掉呢？”我平静的解释到。“这样做是不是太麻烦了，多浪费时间呀。”妈妈说着就想去端脏水盆。我制止了她，庄重的说：“不会的。我们节约用水是要从一点一滴开始做起。我们国家是世界十三个贫水国家之一，所以我们更要珍惜生命之水。”“好吧，你说得没错，你把香菜洗了，我们就去浇花。”于是，我洗完香菜后，就和妈妈一人端着一个脏水盆，穿过暖和的阳光织成的彩棱镜。我们来到靠墙摆放的大大小小的盆栽跟前，开始让小花小草小树们痛饮。两个勤劳快乐的身影在院子里来回走动，一大一小，和谐无比。

我们浇水的声音吸引了爸爸，她也来到了院子里，看着我和妈妈的举动，他不禁“扑哧”一下笑出了声：”你们干嘛，全是烂菜叶的脏水浇花呀？”“你不懂，这是我们女儿的主意，这可是在节约用水。”妈妈欣慰地昂着头。爸爸却还是一副不以为然的样子，交插着双臂定定地看着我们。我急切地就想去找个百科全书来，但还是放弃了——我有了一个征服爸爸的更好的办法：“爸爸，用烂菜叶能提供给花草们所需的营养。所谓‘落红不是无情物，化作春泥更护花’嘛！”这时爸爸的眼睛充满了亮光，仿佛很支持我的想法。妈妈也兴奋地发起了大论：“我们这里还好，但我们国家很多地区缺少水源，很多人都喝不着甘甜的清水，所以我们不但要知福，还应采取不可少的预防措施。”爸爸赞同地笑了：“对对，你们说得对。我还为你们的细心与行动喝彩！”

“哈哈哈……。”我们一家人愉快的笑声回荡在院子里，在那里，有我们充满爱的惜水之心！在那里引来了不少邻居的围观和效仿……

让我们行动起来，小手拉大手，一起节约用水，一点一滴，共筑七彩灿烂的明天！

最近报纸登出节约用水一大标题，号召广大群众节约用水;珠海水资源不足，将会采取时间制开水……

其实水资源紧缺不仅是珠海有，中国甚至世界许多地区也曾经常有此事，最为严重的要数非洲国家，那里雨水量少，经济不发达，百姓贫穷，每天都要担水和粮食的问题，每天因缺少水而致死得人多不胜数;土耳其的节约灌水至植物根的方法令人震惊……这种种因水而来的问题让我们意识到水的重要性，万物几乎靠水生存。

为这点我们年级展开了一次参观珠海水厂活动，目的增强我们对水的意识。

我们所去的是拱北和竹仙洞水厂，先说拱北水厂，全珠海有4个水厂，分别位于拱北、香洲、唐家、西区，共每天产淡水50万立方米，其中这里每天产30万立方米，此水来自西江，有三水库，分别是大镜山、南屏、竹仙洞;处理水时的顺序是加药，过滤，消毒，通过绿池把沉淀从上往下过滤，24小时后就来一次绿池反冲洗;拱北水厂建立于1984年，今年20岁了!

参观完拱北水厂，我们就来到竹仙洞，这里面有一座海拔200米左右的加林山正是国家名牌水来源，这个水库能蓄水250万立方米，算小水库水高19.25米，水是从珠海大桥下面的磨刀门经过几十公里运到这。原水经过净化才能饮用。每天用水量1500万立方米，河流、地下水都属于淡水资源。竹仙洞现存水最多只能供全珠海人用两三天!

带着目的参观完一水厂一水库后，我们便离开了。我们全体深深地体会到水资源的宝贵性与紧张性，请大家想想，可能大自然每年都产数万立方米淡水，但随着人口的增长，我们的水资源很快被用光，就像数学追击问题一样，快者迟早会追上慢者，到那时，我们面临的是死亡，死亡我们终不愿意!

为了生存，请我们一起手牵手，节约用水!
