The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. ―I‖, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word ―tame‖, becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.

At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot’s advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake. ―It’s too far. I can not carry this body with me. It’s too heavy.‖ he said. He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back. At the end the author doesn’t tell us the ending directly. Maybe it’s more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over.

After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too. So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. When I read the book To Live, I know I have own a lot of happiness in this period. To Live allowed me to see the people’s suffering and hardship in old China. But the most important is the spirit that age gives to them.

To Live described Fugui’s life who lives in The Cultural Revolution and Great Leap Forward. Fugui borns in a host family, when he was young, he often went outside gambling. So that in the end he spent all the property under the trap which others had designed. At that time, he had got married with his wife Jiazhen. One day, when he went out to borrow money for looking doctors for his parents, he was caught to join the army. Almost all the soldiers had died, but he struggled to live and luckly got together with his family, when his mother had gone and his daughter Fengxia had been a dumb because of illness. His family were very happy because of his coming back. For he had not been assigned to the landlord constituents, they lived a poor and happy life. Of the past with each passing day, his little son was going to middle school, but his disaster began again. His son lost his life for saving his classmate whose father is the mayor of the town. Backlog of the pain and frustration, he and his wife as if had lost a lot and they nearly lost confidence of living. Fortunately, they have a sensible daughter, although she couldn’t talk, but she helped her parents go through the pains. Later Fengxia married to Erxi who is an honest man, but fate still made fun of this hard-working and simple girl, she died from giving birth. And then later, in the heavy blows, Fugui’s wife left him forever.

Life had lost all his family, leaving him, last remaining alive. I don’t know how I can experience his life in that age, his disease that he had to face, but I know Fugui had learnt to respect for life, be properly alive.

The Little Princess is written by Frances hodgson Burnett, who was born in Manchester in England in 1849. In order to support her family she had began to write since she was 18. Then she was famous for the best selling book Little Lord Fauntleroy. She wrote about 50 novels and stories.

The representative ones are the secret garden, little princess, little Prince and so on. She was good at writing fiction and children"s stories. Her books often show sentimental, romantic color, plus full of childlike plots and the nature of light and warmth, which makes her works not only popular among the children but also the adults.

The Little Princess is just like the modern Cinderella. Sara Crewe, the protagonist of the novel was a little girl but acted as an adult and she loved telling stories to others. When she was 11, her dad sent her to a girls’ boarding school because of his father’s business. At first, Sara lived like a real princess and she was loved by everyone. She could get whatever she want because her father was rich. But on her birthday party, she got a bad news about her father was dead. From that moment, Sara’s life was totally changed. She didn"t understand why the teachers and students treat her so bad. She had to work 16 hours a day. She began to taste the hardships of life with no money. Sara and her partner Becky lived together and they helped each other, support each other. There’s an old saying, when one door shuts, another opens. So, after a long time, she met her father’s partner who was searching for her for years because her father found a gold ore and earned lots of money. Then she lived with this kind man and Becky became her exclusive maid.

When I finished reading the book, I feel inspire. What impressed me most are Sara’s kindness and the spirit of brave. When facing difficult, she is still very optimistic and is kind to everyone. She always has a b will and never gives up. I think whenever I face difficult I will think of Sara, then I will feel inspire and overcome it bravely.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy.

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. So she asked people to correct the attitude toward the nature and reconsidered the developing path of human being.

Carson thought that because of the antibody and differentiation, pesticides would never be completely useful. On the contrary, those more and more poisonous medicines, because of the enrichment effect, would accumulate in humans’ body. It’s quite sarcastic that we hurt ourselves much badly while hurting the others. Then she analyzed many poisonous components in pesticides. Those are all unfamiliar names except DDT, such as chlordane, chloronaphthalene, compound 497, etc.

Those things really make me feel scared. We are on the top of the food chain, and it is such a perfect and fragile system. We human beings are just part of it and we depend on all of the creatures who stay on the lower positions. It is so hard and ridiculous to try to match the nature. Only in the state does man have a rational existence. Every species have their value to be on this world. Then no one knows what would happened if we force them to disappear. For example, let’s imagine the food chain as a meticulously made castle built by billions of little blocks and we human beings are the top one. There might be several tiny blocks on the bottom which you think is useless and dispensable. But what would happen if we take them away? Humans always think that we are much cleverer than the other animals, so we become more and more conceited and firmly believe that we are the king. The novel begins a story about two boys.Amir is born in a rich family.Hassan is his servant as well as close friend.They both lose mother from birth and grow up like brothers.Hassan is very loyal to Amiar,but Amiar sells him.Many years later,Amir has settled down in America for years and established a family,but Hassan died for protecting Amirs luxury house in Afghanistan and leave an orphan.Accidentally,Amir gets to know a big secret and decides to atone for his crime that hound around him from childhood.

Reading it again,most of my original views has changed.

At the first place,I have a feeling of being cheated by the writer.The novel first attracted me before because it set its plot in a special environment---Afghanistan which even I often got news about from TV and newspaper,I knew the country utterly ignorant except wars and terrorism.So I wanted to understand more about the calamitous country.However,I am disappointed by the novel which just use a special background environment to tell a so-called travel of human nature .The theme of the novel should be atonement if it was taken off flowery coat.Bad gay like Amir and and good gay like Hassan,adding some the present best sellers polular elements like bastard,forming the main contents. In fact,the kite runner impressed me deeply and it just depends on sensational words.Besides,what makes me most dislike is that the writer,an Afghan-American,contorted some political elements for American advantages.The history background only make the affair of Russia invading and Taliban dictators go into particulars,but not mention Americas ignominious role in this politics.Why Taliban dictators are so unruly?Why Russia invaded Afghanistan in 1979?Why Afghan people still live in poor condition nowadays?America,a main actor is disposed of in this novel.

At the second place,the characters all serve to a tacky theme-atonement and birth secrects.When the birth secrects are exposed,the atonement travel begins.When the atonement finishes,the story finishes.

I even feel I am wrapped around the American medias little finger.Many celebrities and book concerns writed good comments,which helped it ranke first on sales volume for several times and made readers think it must get widely praised and then bought it without doubt finally.

我记得有人说过，感动只是在一瞬间，但真情却永远存生。用这句话来形容这场电影实在是再好不过了，反复这句话就是为这场电影而量身制作的。这场电影不短也不长，看了一个多小时吧，它主要讲了一个小男孩和他的姐姐父亲之间的事，小男孩的母亲去世的很早，只剩下她和姐姐，父亲相依为命，父亲用转勺的方法决定他和姐姐谁去上学，谁辍学ue，最后小男孩上学，姐姐则照顾这个家。刚开始，小男孩因为亲眼目睹自己的同学被河水淹死的情景害怕所以逃学，被父亲知道后教训了他一顿。从此，小男孩便开始努力学习，一直到高中，并且在一次奥林匹克化学竞赛中获得了陕西省的一名，就在此不久，他的姐姐出嫁了，他得知后，非常难过，于是，他便开始照顾自己的父亲。

终于，他考上了大学，可父亲生病了，于是他决定不去上大学在家照顾自己的父亲，父亲知道后，非常生气，便在一天晚上投井自尽了，幸好男孩及时发现，要不然父亲就死了，最终，男孩答应父亲自己去上大学，但为了要照顾父亲所以背着父亲一起去了大学。在看完这场电影后，我才明白原来父母对我们寄存的希望是非常大的，可我么却不懂得珍惜，有时还和父母乱发脾气，通过这场电影，可以知道一个人只有在艰难中走出来才能得到胜利。所谓俗话说的好：吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。
