A GRAND flag-raising ceremony would be held at the square in front of the Citizens’ Center on the morning of Oct. 1 to celebrate China’s National Day, a government source said.

The national anthem will be played as the five-star red national flag is raised at 7:30 a.m., marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

“It will be the largest flag-raising ceremony in the history of Shenzhen, and it will be the first time citizens will be allowed to closely witness the scene,” a government official said.

“About 1,000 people from different walks of life in Shenzhen have been organized to attend the ceremony,” he said.

The ceremony will be performed by a national flag guard under the local armed police contingent.

The team, which was set up in 2002, now has 86 members who have undergone strict professional training.

On the morning of National Day in Beijing, several thousand residents and travelers from other provinces are expected to witness a flag-raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square.

Embraced widely by Chinese as a means to express their love and respect for the motherland, flag-raising ceremonies will also be held in many other places across China.

人们去旅游有的乘飞机、有的坐火车、坐船、乘公共汽车。对我来说在暑假，最好的方式是徒步旅行。 My preference depends on the purpose of the travel. On a summer vacation I travel to refresh myself and to see the countryside. When I use my feet and walk on a grass covered path along a river or among the hills I feel detached from the noise of the city and closer to the nature. And when I travel on foot I get more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can stop where I like. And I can see things and people that I might miss if I travel on a train or on a bus.

When faster and more convenient ways for travel are becoming available, I still favor using my own feet. I get much pleasure from it. People travel by plane, by train, by ship, by bus. To me, the best way of traveling on a summer vacation is to go on foot.

And we need enough money, enough time, special channel and also an economical plane, it’s convenient for us. And we can save more time to view the blue sky generally and look out upon the cloud dancing freely outside the plane.

It’s also not bad to travel by train. Enjoy the scenery out of the train on the way, just look around here and there , maybe you can get some new friends in this narrow but long carriage. Certainly you’d better choose the different path when you return back from the place of interest so that you can make your eyes full of the landscape of interest on the way and never need to revisit the once familiar place. How far-flung and galland the rivers and mountains in our homeland are! There are still too many places we can go.

坐火车呢，那也不俗，沿途景致，这边看看那边望望，说不定在车上还能交上朋友呢！当然来回路线最好不要一样，这样可把沿途的山水名胜游个饱，将来也不用再到这一片热土作重游之想了。我们的祖国啊河山辽阔壮丽，要去的地方多着呢。

Time is limited but the interest of traveling is limitless. We travel just because of our love knot to the natural mountains and rivers!

There is a saying that “You can either travel or read, but either your body or soul must be on the way.” With the improvement of living standards, more and more people have time and money to travel. Advantages of Travel By traveling we can enjoy the beautiful scenery in different places. We will see with our own eyes many places read of in books, and visit some famous cities and scenic spots. We will meet people with different interests and see strange and different things when we travel. We can get ideas of the conditions and customs of other people, taste different foods and special local flavour if we like. In this way, we can understand how differently other people live.

Travel will not only help us to gain knowledge of geography and history and other knowledge, which will arouse our deep love for our motherland, but also will help us keep healthy and make us less narrow-minded. My parents and me live in city. My father is a worker. His work is hard. My mother is a high schools Chinese teacher, She take bicycle go to work at sevenclock. In the afternoon, she doesnt go home. Winter comes again, this is my fifth winter vacation since elementary school. Holiday that day, the teacher a lot of homework on the blackboard. Due to the winter vacation homework more, need reasonable arrange time to complete, so I made a plan for the winter vacation to learn.

Im going to put the winter vacation homework math and Chinese winter vacation homework do three surfaces. And in the winter vacation reading a good book, "we good word", "detective conan" and the "the practical abstract upper and lower edition watch. About a day at about 20 minutes. Finished winter vacation homework in the morning and after reading the rest of the time free activities. This is I use my mothers mouth. His work is. 我准备把《数学寒假作业》和《语文寒假作业》各做3面。并在寒假里看一本好书，《好词好句大全》、《名侦探柯南》和那本《实用文摘上、下版》看完。大约一天看20分钟左右。上午做完寒假作业和课外阅读后剩下的时间自由活动。这可是我在妈妈的嘴里使用了我的“大舌头功”才争取来的。中午睡觉一个小时，下午去学金声。学完之后在电脑上学一个小时的电脑应用知识，读一篇《爱的教育》的一篇文章，并说说读完这篇文章有什么心得体会，有什么感受，今后应该怎么做等等。

睡觉前再钻研一道奥数题，读一篇英语作文，哈哈，这真是“语、数、英三不误”啊!

In China, the number of college students increases every year, as more and

more students get the college education, college students are under great

pressure. We hear from the news that a lot of students can’t find jobs after

graduation, then the next year, the other students gets graduating, the two

years’ students compete for the jobs! I just can’t imagine such situation. The

pressure from college students is getting greater, they should relieve it now

and then, because too much pressure will bring bad effect, some may distort

their minds, once their emotion can’t relieve in time, some tragical things may

happen. It is said that some students suicide themselves because they have much

pressure. Everybody will have pressure, but we must know that pressure brings

motivation, at the same time, it also brings burden, we have to balance it. When

we deal with it well, we can live a better life.

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

对于5年级的学生，作文的要求也提高了很多，很多学生在介绍别人或者是写自己喜欢的小动物的时候很容易忘了第三人称单数动词要加ses，如：He get up at 7 o’clock(get忘了加s)，在用到现在进行的时候动词很容易忘了加ing(如I am play the piano，play就忘记了加ing)，介词和介词短语也占了很重要的位置如介词in，on，at，of。介词短语如dream of(区分dream that)和be afraid of都是很重要的介词短语，很多学生忘记了介词后面要加动词。
